Translation and Annotation of“ The Mathematical Classic of Wu Cao（ 五曹算経）” Vol. 3
Full text link“The Mathematical Classic of Wu Cao” was written during the Southern and Northern Dynasties, which was listed as one of the Ten Computational Canons（算経十書） during the Tang dynasty. The aim of our research is to provide a complete translation and annotation of it from the viewpoint of our previous work on “The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art（九章算術）.”
This is the third article based on our research and results in which we studied the problems 1 to 12 of the forth volume and 1 to 10 of the fifth volume.『五曹算経』は南北朝期に書かれた算術書であり、唐代に編纂された算経十書の一つである。我々は、我々の『九章算術』研究を起点に、『五曹算経』の訳注を完成させることを目的としている。本訳注稿では南宋本を底本とし、これに諸家の校訂を加える。

Pendulum Motion in Railway Vehicles Caused by Earthquakes
Full text linkBy implementing countermeasures after various accidents over the last 150 years, Japan’s railways are now relatively safe and stable means of transportation. The country, however, experiences a high number of earthquakes causing damages to rail systems. In the last 3 earthquakes the Shinkansen（ Bullet Train） has suffered derailments.
During an earthquake, a railway vehicle is often subjected to rocking by lateral ground motion. Rocking occurs when the rolling body of a railway vehicle causes the right and left wheels to lift violently and alternately, resulting at times in derailment or overturning. Therefor rocking during an earthquake is caused by the pendulum motion of the railway vehicle.
In this paper, the rolling and rocking motion of a railway vehicle is treated as an inverted pendulum motion, and the relationship between the rolling motions of the upper and lower core is analyzed with an actual vehicle. To illustrate further, a model for uniform treatment is constructed to compare with a monorail vehicle.departmental bulletin pape

Supporting Small and Medium-sized Enterprises through Social Contribution Activities: From a Value Co-creation Marketing Perspective
Full text link中小企業のマーケティング戦略は大企業とは違う中小規模特性を活かす視点が重要である。中小企業の規模特性を活かすためには強みを磨くと同時に弱みを克服できる場を創造することが求められる。中小企業の経営者は社会課題を解決することに熱意を持っていることが多い。したがって、地域の中小企業が他の主体とつながりながら課題を解決しようとする場を生成すると共創することが可能である。本論文は中小企業支援機関の職員による社会貢献活動に焦点を当てる。そして、地域の企業が社会貢献活動をおこなうことがどのようなプロセスで自社の成果に結びつくのかについて検討する。The marketing strategies of small and medium-sized enterprises （SMEs） differ from those of large businesses in that SMEs take advantage of the unique characteristics of their size. To leverage these characteristics, they need to create opportunities to build on their strengths while overcoming any weaknesses. Many SME executives are passionate about tackling social issues. This therefore enables the formation and co-creation of avenues in which local SMEs can collaborate with other entities to devise solutions for social issues. This paper focuses on the social contribution activities that members of organizations that provide support to SMEs engage in. It also examines the processes by which the social contribution activities of local businesses can contribute to the success of these enterprises.departmental bulletin pape
