Translation and Annotation of“The Mathematical Classic of Zhang Qiujian（ 張丘建算経）” Vol. 1
Get PDF“The Mathematical Classic of Zhang Qiujian” was written during the Southern and Northern Dynasties, which was listed as one of the Ten Computational Canons（算経十書） during the Tang dynasty. The aim of our research is to provide a complete translation and annotation of it from the viewpoint of our previous work on “The Nine Chapters on the Mathematical Art（九章算術）.”
This is the first article based on our research and results in which we studied the problems 1 to 15 of the first volume.『張丘建算経』は南北朝期に書かれた算術書であり、唐代に編纂された算経十書の一つである。我々は、我々の『九章算術』研究を起点に、『張丘建算経』の訳注を完成させることを目的としている。
本訳注稿では南宋本を底本とし、これに諸家の校訂を加える。

Scale Construction of the Learning Process Focusing on “Demonstrative Report Based on Academic Writing”
Get PDFA survey was conducted for the purpose of creating a scale to measure the learning process of students when engaged with demonstrative report writing. We developed the demonstrative report writing scale DRAW9 （Demonstrative Report based on Academic Writing 9） consisting of two factor-9 items, namely, a regulation strategy factor and a help seeking strategy factor. These were based on a factor analysis of data from 144 college students writing argumentative reports. The scale structure was analyzed in relation to the report thesis. During the report writing activity, the data showed students were more likely to use the help seeking strategy on topics that were not related to their own designated classes than on class-related topics specified by the teacher. We argue the necessity for further research into the practice of social interaction and methodological examination of learning processes.departmental bulletin pape
