A combination study between tissue engineering and arthroscopy simulator with 3D bio-printer
We performed the following two preliminary trials which are connected with a 3D bioprinting technology in this study. The first one was to seek which soft tissues from the knee joint can provide mesenchymal stem cells for a tissue-engineered cartilage. For this study, we investigated relative values of three genetic markers by the mesenchymal stem cells from the above soft tissues. Thus, we found an efficacy of the above soft tissues for the cell section for the regenerative medicine around the knee joint. The second one was to investigate mechanical properties of the soft tissues for the future regenerative therapy and/or the development of surgical simulator for arthroscopy using a developed probing device or classical experimental instruments. Thus, we found some mechanical parameters of the soft tissues for the regenerative medicine when making them with the 3D bioprinter.departmental bulletin pape
The Importance of Learning for Economic Development: A Review
This paper reviews the research on learning and summarizes it in the context of economic development. Learning is a conception of knowledge absorption, accumulation, and expansion. This process is not necessarily related to product innovation or process innovation. However, it is related to a capacity to develop using and improving a firm’s technology including production management, fixing and maintaining equipment and marketing activities. Thus, learning is basic and important for firms to conduct business. Research in the field of economics has, for some time, pointed to the importance of learning for economic growth and development. Nevertheless, there are very few comprehensive reviews on the subject.
This review presents the material as follows. The introduction describes the concept of learning and its connection to innovation.( Section 1) reviews the literature on learning from the perspective of economic growth theories.( Section 2) examines the literature by “Neo-Schumpeterian” scholars.( Section 3) is an overview of recent contributions to the study of learning. (Section 4) draws on some important perspectives found in the scholarship on business management, and( Section 5) describes the process of learning and catch-up in economic development. Finally, a summary of the five sections with a discussion of issues for further investigation is offered.departmental bulletin pape
Introduction to the study of “sanctions” on “hate speech” in Japan
The “Act on the Promotion of Efforts to Eliminate Unfair Discriminatory Speech and Behavior against Persons Originating from Outside Japan” was enacted by the National Diet of Japan and brought into force on Friday, June 3, 2016. The International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights has a provision that permits an interpretation that affirming a “distinction” between foreigners with respect to political rights, and on the other hand, with respect to the regulation of “hate speech” required by the provisions of the International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination, the Japanese government has held back from the beginning of the ratification of the Convention, claiming that there is a problem in relation to the freedom of expression in the Constitution of Japan (Article 21). While it is necessary to tighten up the constituent requirements, it is time to expand the definition of defamation and insult to minorities who at least fall under the definition of the “Hate Speech Elimination Law”.departmental bulletin pape
Formation of Views on Education by College Students: Some Observations in “ Educational Principles” a Teacher Training Course
The purpose of this research is to explore the current situation and issues of educational ideas that show interests in the process of forming a view of education that first-year college students, aiming to become teachers and belonging to a teacher training course, should acquire for their future profession. As a result, it became clear that they were interested in their own questions as to what was necessary to solve problems in current education. Clarified here also, as factors to promote, was the importance of re-encountering educational ideas that touched their hearts in the past, to be able to think in connection with one’s own specialty, and to have a variety of human relations.departmental bulletin pape
Psychological Perspectives and Factors and Directions of Tax Consciousness
Psychology of paying taxes has an influence on psychological costs in tax compliance costs. Tax consciousness and tax compliance costs influence each other.Tax consciousness and psychological costs in tax compliance costs are closely and deeply related to each other. This paper focuses on factors of tax consciousness and psychological perspectives, and also clarifies characteristics and directions of tax consciousness. There are many and complicated factors in tax consciousness. Characteristics of factors in tax consciousness for income tax, consumption tax and inheritance tax are various. That is to say, characteristics of factors in tax consciousness depends on each nature of taxation.
Perception of tax burden based on understanding of clear tax amount is very important. In addition, tax consciousness based on knowledge and clear understanding of tax burden is highly significant. Unclear and vague perception of tax burden are likely to be factors of large psychological costs in tax compliance costs. From the point of view that small psychological costs in tax compliance costs are significant, it is extremely important to grasp factors and characteristics in tax consciousness.departmental bulletin pape
