The Moderating Effect of Self-Compassion on Fear of Covid-19 and Subjective Well-Being
Get PDFThe purpose of this research is to examine the moderating effect of self-compassion on the fear of Covid-19 and subjective well-being. Using data from a web questionnaire through an Internet research firm （N=276） and analyzed by hierarchical multiple regression, we found that fear of Covid-19 negatively influenced subjective well-being, but the relationship between the two was at a lower degree in cases of high self-compassion. These results indicate that self-compassion is effective against the fear of infection that in turn lowers an individual’ s subjective well-being. Finally, our research contributed to self-compassion research, suggesting a conceptual framework for the conservation of resource theory by advancing the accumulative research on the use of self-compassion in organizations.departmental bulletin pape

Is Strength Training using Multi Hip Joint Board effective for non-Sprinters? : Case report on a Middle-distance Runner
Get PDFIn previous studies, we reported that the strength training using Multi Hip Joint Board （MHJB） could increase the cross-sectional area of the psoas major muscle （PMCSA） and improve sprint performance. However, only collegiate male sprinters were tested in these studies, and the effects of MHJB training have not been examined with non-sprinters. Therefore, we aimed to investigate the effects of MHJB training on PMCSA and running performance of a collegiate male middle-distance runner. The present study was conducted during a winter preparation period. The MHJB training was conducted three times per week for six weeks in addition to his normal daily workout. PM CSA and running performance were measured before and after the MHJB training. PM CSA was measured by a magnetic resonance imaging, and the running performance was defined as the certified 800-meter running record. The subject showed improvements in PM CSA and 800-meter running performance after six weeks of training. The MHJB training could be used as one of the training methods to improve running performance of middle-distance runners.先行研究において，マルチヒップジョイントボード（MHJB）を用いたストレングストレーニングを実施することが，大腰筋横断面積（PM CSA）の増大とランニングパフォーマンスの向上につながる可能性について報告を行った。しかしながら，これらの研究では陸上競技の短距離選手のみを対象としており，非短距離選手を対象としたMHJBトレーニングのPM CSAやパフォーマンスに対する効果は検証されていない。そこで本研究では，非短距離選手におけるMHJBトレーニングの有用性を探るために，陸上競技の中距離選手１名を対象としてMHJBトレーニングがPM CSAならびにランニングパフォーマンスに及ぼす効果について検証を行った。また，本研究は冬季準備期の専門的なトレーニング後にMHJBトレーニングを加えるかたちで実施された。その結果，対象におけるPM CSAはトレーニング後に増加し，ランニングパフォーマンスはトレーニング後の試合期前半シーズンで向上した。MHJBトレーニングは，陸上競技の中距離選手においても，ランニングパフォーマンスを向上させるストレングストレーニングとして活用できる可能性が示唆された。departmental bulletin pape
A Study of Survey and Analysis Sheets on the Organizational Structure of“ University Education Supporters’ Association”
Get PDF拙稿「大学教育後援会の組織体制に関する研究―適切な運営のための体制整備に向けて―」1では、日本における大学教育後援会（以下、後援会とする）の組織体制上の課題について検討した。まず、日本における後援会設立の歴史およびその設置状況について先行研究に基づき紹介した。次に、後援会の組織体制について、後援会と同種の組織に挙げられる初等・中等教育機関に設置されているPTA（Parent-Teacher Association）組織や卒業生により組織されている同窓会などに求め、そこでの多くの先行研究から、後援会組織を「権利なき社団」として位置づけた。さらに、後援会組織をめぐる不正事例を取り上げ、その不正防止に関わる組織外の第三者による監査やガバナンス体制構築の必要性について検討するとともに、それらを組み込んだ一般社団・財団法人、公益社団・財団法人、特定非営利活動法人（NPO 法人）や株式会社を後援会に導入する可能性を示した。
筆者らは、以上のような検討の途上、2022年度より科学研究費補助金事業基盤研究（C）「大学教育後援会組織における監査・ガバナンスの実態調査とそのあるべき体制の提言」の採択を受けた。これまでの検討からさらに、後援会組織における「あるべき体制の提言」に向け、後援会の組織体制やガバナンスの実態を確認する必要がある。本稿では、実態調査のためのアンケート調査シート案2（以下、調査シートとする。本稿末尾に付録として掲載）を提示し、最終提言への方向性を明示することを目的としている。

Factors and Impact of Time Costs of Tax Compliance Costs
Get PDFAlthough the invoice system in consumption tax has a significant positive aspect in ensuring transparency perspective in the tax system, it is extremely important to focus on the time costs of tax compliance costs. It is increasingly depth of meaning to focus on issues surrounding the time it takes to prepare taxes. This paper focuses on the time costs elements of tax compliance costs, and also looks at the factors that contribute to higher time costs, categorizing them according to their nature, and further clarifies the costs that are affected by time costs. This paper is nsidering time costs by attempting to survey the actual time costs and trends. The survey by questionnaires focused on time costs and is for certified public tax accountants.
The time costs of tax compliance costs can be said to be difficult for taxpayers to be conscious of the increased costs, so more attention is required. As time costs are increasing and the tax compliance costs are becoming higher, it is even more important to pay attention to ensuring the simplification of the tax system. In addition, it should be noted that the higher the time costs, the higher the psychological costs of tax compliance costs are may be. Consolidation of Municipal Solid Waste Incineration Facilities in Southern Fukuoka Prefecture: A Case Study
Get PDF福岡県南地区の７ つの市町にある３ つのごみ焼却施設の統廃合について検討した。それぞれ個別に建設するよりも統合して建設する方が安いことをLCC（Life Cycle Cost）の観点から明らかにした。それぞれの自治体は公共施設等総合管理計画を策定し適切な施設の管理・削減につとめているが，広域ではそのような制度が存在しないため，ごみ焼却施設の統廃合についての検討がおこなわれていなかった。広域にわたる公共施設の統廃合の検討制度が必要なことを，ごみ処理施設の事例から明らかにした。We studied the consolidation of three waste incineration facilities for seven cities and townships in southern Fukuoka Prefecture. The study showed a low-cost benefit if these facilities are integrated. Municipalities, independently, have formulated comprehensive management plans for public facilities and work to properly manage and reduce the number of said facilities. Such a system, however, does not exist at a broader interlocal government administrative body. For this reason, the consolidation of waste incineration facilities has not been considered effectively. It is clear from this case study of municipal waste treatment facilities in Fukuoka Prefecture that a system to plan and execute the integration and decommissioning of public facilities within a wider jurisdiction is necessary.departmental bulletin pape
Perspective of Sports Business Investment in Japan
Get PDFSports business in Japan is gaining momentum for investment ventures in all its sectors, ranging from hardware （stadiums） and software （organizations, players, etc.）. However, there are structural problems, such as double standards in tax law for professional sports organizations and the opaqueness as to how funding flows. To address these issues, it is necessary to deepen an understanding of the principles of investment behavior in sports enterprises with an economic approach, in order to expand the market.
