Recovery in Physical Function, Fatigue and Quality of Life in Post-Mild COVID-19 Infection
Get PDFMild COVID-19 patients are either asymptomatic or present with mild respiratory symptoms, but as high as 5-10% may experience prolonged symptoms. Insufficient knowledge on mild-COVID-19 recovery poses uncertainties among healthcare professionals and patients, potentially causing treatment delays and may lead to a cluster of people not recovering from post-COVID-19 infection. This study aims to determine changes in respiratory symptoms, physical function, dyspnoea and fatigue, and Quality of Life in mild COVID-19 patients up to 3 months after the onset of symptoms. The results showed significant improvements in all outcomes at 3 months, but the scores were below normal

Recognising the diverse effects of environmental factors, subsequent research may offer tailored recommendations for distinct martial arts disciplines. These findings contribute to developing targeted training strategies and preparation techniques, offering a roadmap to optimise martial arts performance scores in competitive setting

Get PDFThe purpose of this study is to investigate how changes in business models in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) affect company performance. This quantitative study tested the connection between business model innovation drivers, innovation results, and MSME performance. 300 of the MSME owner data are recorded by the questionnaire and used this data collection method. The recorded data are evaluated using SEM-PLS. No full textOnline game addiction has been categorized by the World Health Organization (WHO) as a mental health problem. This article identified an Islamic psychospiritual approach as an alternative to holistic therapy to solve this problem. The study uses qualitative methods through interviews with seven experts consisting of psychiatrists, counselors, and lecturers from several universities in Malaysia. Thematic analysis is used to identify the symptoms, effects, and factors of addiction as well as Islamic psychospiritual solutions. The findings show various effects and contributing factors to the problems and identified solutions by experts using the Islamic psychospiritual approach to reduce the problem

Implemented in countries like the US, UK, Australia, Singapore, Canada, and South Africa, Malaysia follows suit with charges tied to increased land value. Based on structured interviews with 39 stakeholders, this study identifies key factors for effective implementation: legislation, human capital, work procedures, and support facilities. Participants highlight the need for streamlined approval processes and strategic integration among departments. Preliminary Findings of Structural Quality Requirements in Malaysia Public Preschools from Multiple Stakeholders’ Perspectives
Get PDFStakeholders define preschool quality in their own context. This study aimed to explore the structural quality requirements in Malaysia public preschools from the triparty stakeholders’ perspectives: the top-down, bottom-up and outside-in. This study adopted a case study design and an in-depth interview data collection method. The thematic analysis revealed three structural quality elements required in Malaysia settings: human, conducive environment, and other supporting factors. The preliminary finding of the study highlights the identification of teacher assistant as one of the structural quality requirements in Malaysia public preschools. Perhaps future study be extended into a quantitative method for generalisation
Proposed Knowledge Transfer Key Factors Model in Malaysian Higher Education Institutions
Get PDFKnowledge transfer entails not only the transmission of information, but also the transmission of experience, best practises, and learning. This combination, known as tacit knowledge, is well recognised as being extremely difficult to articulate and record, but it is invaluable in adding depth and context to information to provide a richer understanding. As a result, ensuring an effective knowledge transfer process necessitates significant dimensions such as human capital skills and values, knowledge type, knowledge transfer methods, and organisational support. The purpose of this study was to identify the factors that influence the implementation of knowledge transfer projects in Malaysian higher education institutions. Based on the comprehensive literature review and pilot study findings, the study identified Higher Institutions of Education (HIE) Capacity, Academia Capability, Graduate Interns Capability, KT Partner Organization, Relational Elements, Technology Augmentation, External Factor, and Knowledge Transfer Mechanism as the primary factors influencing KT project performance. Aside from that, the study suggests that the Knowledge Transfer Mechanism and government policy play a mediating role in the proposed model
Student’s Perception of Motivation and Burnout
Get PDFThis study examines the impact of students' motivation on burnout. A survey was conducted with 232 students, assessing their motivation and burnout. The analysis reveals a positive relationship between the motivational component (exhaustion and disengagement) and burnout, supporting the hypothesis. The findings suggest that interventions targeting motivational factors can potentially alleviate burnout. The study emphasises the importance of addressing burnout and considering motivational, expectancy, and affective factors in developing interventions
Reforming Model of University Leadership through Collaborative Discourse
Get PDFDespite abundant leadership research work, there is still a dearth of truly original, ground-breaking collaborative research discourse. To provide greater insights of linking various disciplinary paradigms and respond to this issue, we evaluate the leadership competency (LDC) model, proposed by Fowler et al. (2018). The paper analyse the different levels of leadership practices that lead to innovation with examples drawn from leadership studies. The model offers theoretical grounding as well as actionable guidelines for generating original research ideas. In response to the need felt by researchers on leadership, collaborative initiatives indeed has a dominant place in the contemporary leadership discourse.
