    This paper analyses the establishment of the Ombudsman in Sweden by looking at its historical background, scope and effectiveness. The discussions are important to provide a best practise model to be applied by Malaysia in its efforts to establish an ombudsman. By using a qualitative approach through document analyses, the findings show that the Ombudsman Institution in Sweden is clear evidence of the country’s commitment to protecting people's rights and improving the quality of governance. The excellence of the Ombudsman Institution in Sweden largely depends on the procedures and practices of complaint management that can be adopted by other countries, mainly Malaysia

    In Malaysia, following the COVID-19 disruption of food supply, the Cabinet Committee of National Food Security Policy was set up in 2020 as a whole-of-government effort to bring together strategies and action plans for food security at the national level. This study looks at how the policies of different ministries and central agencies match up with the progressive direction set by the committee. Even though there are varying focuses on the policies between the government bodies, a collective synergy emerges from their efforts. A document analysis of these key policies shows the government's commitment to ensuring enough food for everyone

    Learning Style and English Argumentative Writing Proficiency – How They Complement Each Other

    Argumentative writing in a foreign language is challenging for non-native speakers. The study was conducted in a China Normal University with 356 English major participators to uncover whether specific Learning Style (Converging. Diverging, Assimilating, Accommodating) has a higher significant impact on English Argumentative Writing Proficiency (EAWP). This study employed an explanatory sequential mixed-method research design. Findings showed that Convergers obtained the highest mean score in EAWP, while Divergers gained the lowest. The interviews revealed that students with different LS generally underwent four similar writing procedures. However, they differ concerning the strategies they employ in the writing process

    This study was to design an intelligent underwear nursing service system that can assist the elderly in walking according to their original demand for intelligent underwear fall prevention. The research proposed an intelligent underwear nursing service system that integrates the App through the Kano model, which was analyzed with the help of the Four-Quadrant Scatter Model Plot model diagram. Monitoring Service Interaction Subsystem, Monitoring Sports, and Health Management of the intelligent nursing service system. This result indicated that the demand satisfaction rating that the smart underwear nursing service system assists elderly walking was scientific, effective, and fulfilled the needs of elderly users

    The Faculty of Pharmacy revamped its curriculum for the Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) 2019 cohort due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The Nutraceutical (PHC560) course transitioned its hands-on tablet formulation practical to a virtual format with recorded demonstrations. The third cohort's reassessment led to redesigning the lab component into an Objective Structured Pharmacy Assessment (OSPA), focusing on Ethics, Regulatory Aspects, Quality Assurance, and Case Study with Role Play. Positive outcomes have sparked optimism for continued OSPA implementation and potential extension to other courses

    As office software becomes increasingly integral to academic and professional success in a globalised world. This study investigates the mediating effect of technology readiness between Community of Inquiry (CoI) and student digital competence among students at UiTMCT and seeks the most influential CoI factors towards student digital competence through data collection using questionnaires. Seven hypotheses were developed, and two hypotheses were supported. The mediating variable did not influence the relationship.  Researchers suggested using the same variable with different items adapted from other authors for future research. Thus, improving global office software learning experiences would boost students' digital abilities

    Chronic kidney disease (CKD) significantly impacts patients' mental health, with dialysis often leading to psychological distress and depression. This qualitative study explored the spiritual needs of Muslim patients undergoing hemodialysis, utilizing semi-structured interviews and thematic analysis. Findings highlight the importance of religious rituals, practices, and spiritual support from healthcare professionals, family, and community in providing solace and optimism during medical treatment. The study emphasizes the significance of addressing spiritual needs in patient care to enhance health outcomes and quality of life for Muslim patients with CKD. This research contributes to the growing field of spirituality in healthcare

The findings demonstrate a favourable yearly pattern of publications and emphasise Malaysia's prominent position in this domain, with notable contributions from two well-known universities. The study also shows Muslim thinkers' diverse vocabulary and conceptual methodologies. This analysis serves as a helpful point of reference for future studies. It contributes to a deeper comprehension of the process of Islamization of Knowledge by identifying areas where further research is needed
