    Due to ongoing waste management issues, the Indonesian government is promoting Industry 4.0 technologies to enhance productivity and efficiency, focusing on waste bin design. This research investigates whether Indonesia is ready for automation technology in waste bin and waste management systems or if it remains a distant goal. The study identifies key elements and challenges through a comprehensive literature review and systematic screening, including infrastructure limitations, technological readiness, and socio-economic factors. The findings provide insights and guidelines for future efforts toward achieving efficient, sustainable waste management solutions through automation in Indonesia

    Understanding of the Transformational Rural Actors’ Behaviors: A Review

    Rural actors’ behavior is crucial to materializing top-down rural development policies, albeit the rural physical planning. However, studies on detailed perspectives of rural actors’ behavior in response to complex stimuli are limited, particularly in the types of transformational rural actors’ behaviors. Specifically, this study aims to understand rural actors’ behaviors in transforming rural development. The systematic literature review methodology was applied. The findings revealed five themes: economy, environment, psychology, social, and technology—as the stimuli perspectives of transformational rural actors’ behaviors (TRAB) that shed light on rural transformation. This study contributes to synthesizing a new framework for conceptualizing transformational actors’ behaviors in rural development initiatives

    Educational Zakat Aid in Malaysian Higher Education Institutions

    Misusing educational zakat aid challenges higher education institutions (HEIs). Thus, a qualitative case study was conducted using a semi-structured interview with selected Malaysian zakat experts to identify the concept of educational zakat aid from the Islamic perspective and among the HEI students in Malaysia. The findings showed that the educational zakat aid is a form of Islamic principle's social justice implementation, grounded on the needs of prioritized asnaf students who face difficulties in payments of tuition fees, cost-of-living funds, learning equipment, medical assistance, emergency assistance, natural disaster assistance, additional academic aid, as well as mobility fee funding

    Effect of the Occupational Engagement Home Program (MyHOeME©) for Older Persons in the Community

    Malaysia faces a pressing issue as its older population is projected to reach 16% by 2030.  While global and national initiatives focus on health and independence, there exists a gap in structured activities for older persons.  Our study introduces MyHOeME, a 5-week program designed by an occupational therapist, which addresses the physical, cognitive, and social facets of ageing through personalized activities.  This quasi-experimental study involved 78 older persons in the community.  The results indicate a significantly enhanced health-related quality of life after attending MyHOeME, emerging as a promising solution for the well-being of Malaysia's ageing population

    Study based on small and medium entrepreneurs (SME) shows that tourism has increased since 2019. However, the involvement of Tourism SMEs in the food heritage industry still needs to be improved. A qualitative research design was proposed to investigate the matter, and a pilot study was initiated. This paper aims to understand opportunities in the heritage food industry and explore the challenges. Tourism SMEs of food heritage producers are the informants to understand their business. This pilot study was done to help researchers gain first-hand experience with the settings and data collection to strengthen their confidence in executing the research

    Effects of Core Stability Training on Muscle Physiology among Adults with Low Back Pain

    Background: The effects of core stability training (CST) on muscle physiology in adults with chronic low back pain(CLBP) are still debatable. Objectives:  To explore the effects of CST on muscle physiology in adults with CLBP. Methods: Eligible studies published in English from inception to October 2023 were extracted from PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus in this review. Pedro was used for scoring and followed the PRISMA guidelines. Findings: Core muscle strength (1 study), thickness (4 studies), and activation (6 studies) favored CST. Conclusion: CST was more effective in improving core muscle strength, and activation for patients with CLBP
