    Online Food Delivery Practices and Association with Body Mass Index among University Students

    This study aims to investigate the utilisation of online food delivery among 150 undergraduate students. 71.3% of participants used the online food delivery (OFD) services. Fast food was the top type of meal bought online. Participants pay more attention to the price of the food than the nutritional value. Participants perceived unhealthy foods online because they were high in salt, sugar and oil. A Pearson chi-square test revealed a statistically significant association between body mass index and OFD. In conclusion, the present study shows that participants place less emphasis on the nutritional value of food when ordering online

    Assessing the Regularity of Food Donation Operations during Covid-19

    This paper examines how the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted food donation efforts. Due to closures and economic hardships, more people rely on food banks for assistance. Various industries have stepped up to support food recovery and combat food insecurity. the study involved in-depth interviews with eight food donors to assess the prevalence of food donation activities. Through the interviews, the study identified the regularity of food donation activities that considered activities conducted with food banks. The findings suggest that food donors should partner with appropriate charities to improve their food redistribution systems and benefit the community and the environment

    Measuring Satisfaction with Life-construct among University Students during Covid-19 Pandemic in Sabah, Malaysia

    This research intended to develop a valid and reliable instrument of the Satisfaction with Life Scale (SWLS) to measure satisfaction with life (SWL) constructs among 108 university students in Sabah, Malaysia, through the exploratory factor analysis (EFA) procedure. Using the extraction method of Principal Component Analysis (PCA) with Varimax Rotation, a component of the SWL construct is extracted with an eigenvalue of 3.1. The variance explained for this component is 62%. The construct of SWL has Cronbach's alpha value of .817. The development scale and validation confirmed that the instrument is consistent and stable with university student samples

    The emergence of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) in Malaysia is important as they are part of agents for social mobilizing in the community development field. Those NGOs play a greater role in helping the government by encouraging civic engagement in terms of community health promotion. This qualitative content analysis, review the issue of social mobilization and empowerment. There are several roles of NGOs in Community Health Promotion (CHP) including advocacy and standard-setting, health service delivery, community mobilization, and information exchange. The roles by NGOs in promoting healthy lifestyles have a direct impact on the level of national health and morbidity.&nbsp

    Examining the Effectiveness of a Trade Union: Role of union strength and union leadership

    This article aims to examine the influencing factors towards the effectiveness of the trade union from the perspectives of public sector union members. The present study used a quantitative research method involving a survey among 114 union members of Kesatuan Kakitangan Umum, Universiti Teknologi MARA (KKUUiTM). The findings revealed two important findings. First, the union members disclosed that their union was effective. Second, union strength and union leadership significantly influence trade union effectiveness. This research will help the union understand their strength and continuously improve its leadership to maintain its trade union effectiveness and contribute to greater union performance

To our knowledge, no widely specific booklet is documented in Malay that emphasises the targeted population, which is primary school kids for public use. Therefore, this study intended to develop a child-friendly hypertension e-book for children aged 10-12.
