Nexus between Climate Change, Technological Inputs, Energy Consumption and Cereal Production in India: An ARDL approach
Get PDFAgriculture is vital to India's economy and food security but is highly vulnerable to climate change. This study examines the impact of rainfall, temperature, arable land, energy consumption, fertilizer, and technology inputs on cereal production in India from 1965 to 2018 using ARDL and Toda-Yamamoto Granger Causality techniques. Results show temperature negatively affects cereal production, while rainfall, arable land, energy, fertilizer, and technology have a positive impact. There is a unidirectional causal relationship between these factors and cereal production. The study suggests adopting modern technology, prioritizing organic farming, educating farmers, investing in agricultural R&D, and developing sustainable irrigation infrastructure
Approaches in Training for Non-Option Special Education Teacher at Private Early Intervention Center: The Nominal Group Technique Approach
Get PDFIn the past, studies only focused on approaches to training for teachers in the special education field. Hence, this study develops approaches for training non-option Special Education Teachers (SETs) in private early intervention centers, addressing their lack of specialized qualifications. Seven panel experts participated in this study using the Nominal Group Technique (NGT). The findings using this approach indicate that observation, reflection, and co-teaching are essential for SET at private early intervention centers. This study aims to enhance professional development and improve educational outcomes for children with special needs by tackling the unique challenges these educators face

The research uses qualitative methods such as literature review, case studies, and surveys, with limitations including reliance on existing literature and subjective audience feedback. Findings reveal a balance between traditional authenticity and contemporary influences, shedding light on a generational gap in audience acceptance and extending to a broader discussion of preserving traditional arts in a globalized context
Empowerment of Lifelong Learning Among Late Bloomers Youth in Malaysia
Get PDFLifelong learning is challenging for adolescents who have passed their prime age. Even many members of these groups are at risk of dropping out of higher education. This qualitative study employs in-depth interviews with twelve National University of Malaysia participants. The informants are selected via targeted sampling based on predetermined criteria. The study data are analysed thematically using three levels of encoding. The study reveals three significant challenges: workload, emotional pressure, and financial problems. Three action power strategies for youth overcoming obstacles are self-discipline, enhanced self-confidence, and wise conflict resolution
Assessing the Purchasing Behaviour in S-commerce among Indonesian Students in Malaysia
Get PDFThe purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between advertising value, perceived value, and trust for purchasing behaviour in social commerce (s-commerce). The study was quantitative, and 105 Indonesian students provided primary data using a self-administered questionnaire. After applying SPSS to analyze the data, it was found that 56.1% of the variance could be explained by the suggested model. The findings show that there is a positive significant relationship between advertising value, perceived value, and trust for purchasing behaviour in s-commerce. The study's implications are intended to support information technology professionals to implement s-commerce technology in commercial setting
Competency of Autism Spectrum Disorder Parents in Home-Based Occupational Therapy Intervention
Get PDFDuring COVID-19, parents only relied on online materials to provide occupational therapy intervention at home. However, their competency is less studied. Thus, the objectives of the study were to examine parents’ sense of competence and the level of stress in providing home-based therapy. Data were collected via an online survey using the Parenting Sense of Competence Scale and Parental Stress Scale. 125 parents were recruited using a purposive sampling technique. The result shows that parents have a high level of sense of competence and a low level of stress in handling children with ASD during the pandemic

Get PDFThe prevalence of dementia is a global concern, and effective nursing care is needed to improve the lives of the elderly. A cross-sectional study was conducted among nurses in a government hospital. Most respondents had sufficient knowledge of dementia and positive attitudes and perceived a high standard of person-centred dementia care. There was a relationship between dementia knowledge and attitudes, as well as attitudes and perceived person-centeredness. Training programs for acute care staff should prioritize improving knowledge and attitudes, a goal that hospital administrators can promote through training that develops technical and intellectual skills alongside interpersonal and moral skills in dementia car
