Artistic Hybridity and Local Environmental Awareness: Modern Ink Painting by Nanyang Pioneer Artists
Get PDFThis paper explores the unique synthesis of traditional Chinese ink techniques and Western modern art influences in the modern ink artworks of the Nanyang pioneer artists by examining the visual analysis of artistic hybridity approaches and the local environmental awareness through their modern ink painting exploration. This study applies the interdisciplinary approach of Homi K. Bhabha’s notion of hybridity and the Third Space that integrates detailed visual analysis and contextual analysis within the framework of New Art History and Cultural Studies, which provides a critical discussion of artistic innovation through cultural integration. The findings highlight the innovative contributions of Nanyang pioneer artists to modern ink painting, offering new insights into their role in shaping ink art worldwide. This paper contributes to the broader discourse on cultural exchange, artistic innovation, localization themes, and the global art impact of Southeast Asian art
Analysis of Environmental Characteristics in Suzhou-themed Landscape Paintings

For example, Fang Junbi (1898-1986) created "Tiger Hill Pagoda in Suzhou" in the 1940s, and Wu Guanzhong (1919-2010) crafted "Suzhou Gardens" in the 1970s. These works showcase the unique landscapes of Suzhou and reflect the artists' deep affection for the city and their artistic perspectives. Conceptual Model of Information Elements of Agriculture and Agripreneurship
No full textThis study examines the relevant and critical agricultural-related information available on the official government web portals of thirteen (13) agencies operating under the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA). A structured review of the agricultural-related content was conducted to identify information elements that hold significant value for aspiring agropreneurs. The primary goal of this study is to develop a model of an online platform consolidating essential agricultural information from various government agencies’ web portals. The model of information elements undergoes the validation process that comes from experts and potential agropreneurs. The method of research employs a qualitative research approach and adopts the interpretive research paradigm to analyze the collected data. More specifically, it adopts a hermeneutic approach to the analysis process. The focal point of this research is presenting the state-of-the-art of critical and relevant agricultural and agripreneurship information elements, which eleven (11) information elements of agricultural-related and agripreneurship form a cornerstone of this endeavor. It confines its scope to the official web portals of government departments and agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture (MoA). The ultimate contribution of this research lies in its ability to provide an intricate understanding within the realm of information management context of agriculture and agripreneurship that would cater to the potential agropreneurs or youths lacking prior agricultural knowledge and equipping them with essential information to embark on their journey

Stigma on Mental Illness among Nurses
Get PDFA lack of knowledge about mental illness contributes to the pervasive stigma and discrimination that affects the quality of life. This study aims to determine the nurses' knowledge of mental illness and the existence of professional stigma in a teaching hospital in Selangor. The study used a quantitative cross-sectional design, with nurses selected using simple random sampling (n = 178) and utilizing the Attribution Questionnaire (AQ-27) and the Mental Health Knowledge Schedule (MAKS) (α = 0.76 & 0.62). Nurses’ knowledge is high (M=44.57±4.61) and that professional stigma exists. Additionally, significant association between knowledge and stigma among nurses was found (p<0.05)
