Spiritual Compass, Ethical Anchor: Redefining middle leadership in Malaysian education
Get PDFThis research uses the Fuzzy Delphi Method to explore the spiritual and moral foundations of leadership among middle leaders in Malaysian schools. Seven experts evaluated four key concepts via questionnaire, revealing a high agreement level (96%), with Spiritual Growth and Self-Awareness deemed most important. The findings underscore the need to incorporate spiritual and ethical elements into leadership development programs. By integrating Al-Ghazali's concepts with contemporary leadership principles, the study enhances middle leadership development in Malaysia's educational system, supporting a comprehensive framework to improve leadership efficiency in academic institutions
Identifying the Psycho-Educational Strategies in Dealing with Aggressive Behavior from the Counselor's Perspective
Get PDFAggressive behavior among students disrupts learning environments and psychosocial development, necessitating effective interventions. This study uses the Nominal Group Technique (NGT) to explore counselors' perspectives on psycho-educational strategies for managing aggression. Seven counselors identified social skills training, behavioral modeling, and problem-solving techniques as highly effective in improving clients' behavior and self-management. However, challenges such as resource constraints and implementation difficulties persist. Findings suggest psycho-educational approaches are effective for long-term behavior management, culturally adaptable, and enhance client outcomes and counselor job satisfaction while highlighting the need for improved professional development and resource allocation
Economic Impact of Supply Chain and Renewable Energy Adoption
Get PDFThis study examines the impact of renewable energy consumption on economic growth in ASEAN-6 countries (Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Singapore, Thailand, and Japan) and China from 2000 to 2020 using a pooled mean group (PMG) approach for panel data analysis. The findings reveal a positive correlation between renewable energy usage and economic development, emphasizing reduced reliance on fossil fuels. Key factors analyzed include renewable energy consumption, logistic performance, and electricity production from renewables. The results demonstrate these variables significantly foster economic growth, advocating investments in renewables as a strategic priority for sustainable development
Association between Parental Understanding of Stunting and the Awareness Factors among Preschool Children
Get PDFStunting in human development refers to impaired growth, particularly in height, due to chronic undernutrition, especially in early childhood. Parental understanding of stunting and its contributing factors is crucial for prevention. This study aimed to examine the association between parental awareness and understanding of stunting among preschool children in Puncak Alam, Selangor. A total of 137 parents participated in this cross-sectional survey. The study revealed a significant association between parental understanding and awareness of stunting factors, with sociodemographic data also influencing these levels. The findings highlight the importance of improving parental knowledge to reduce the risk of stunting in children.

A Development of Management Framework for Technical Vocational Education Training Institutes in Malaysia

However, the management of TVET institutions requires re-evaluation to standardise operations across the country. There is a need for a management framework to guide the entire process from start to end. This study aims to identify the management structure of TVET institutions. The main structures were identified through literature review and the Delphi Method. Subsequently, Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) was used to develop the framework. The proposed management framework of Malaysia's TVET institutions is intended to offer a robust system that satisfies industry requirements
Factors Influencing Healthcare Waste Management Effectiveness: Challenges and Interventions

It is vital to ensure all healthcare facilities have a good level of healthcare waste management (HCWM). A focus group discussion (FGD) was conducted involving 10 participants from medical and non-medical personnel of health clinics and concession companies in Perak. Two major themes emerged from the FGD. The first theme focuses on challenges in HCWM practices, highlighting several barriers that hinder effective HCWM. Keyword co-occurrence analysis highlights the interdisciplinary nature of this research, linking policy development, consumer psychology, and technological transitions to energy storage implementation. Using qualitative methodology through in-depth interviews with Bernama's digital editorial professionals, the research investigates the balance between government influence and journalistic integrity in shaping political narratives. Findings reveal Bernama's strategic application of Twitter to influence domestic public opinion and international perceptions. The research identifies significant challenges in maintaining media neutrality while adhering to government directives during politically sensitive periods. Results demonstrate Bernama's important role in Malaysia's public diplomacy strategy and its substantial impact on its international political credibility

This situation necessitates active involvement from the government and relevant authorities to ensure waqf properties are developed efficiently and sustainably. Therefore, this article analyses the policies in Malaysia related to waqf land development for agriculture, reflecting the concerted effort in ensuring its sustainable benefit. Employing a content analysis approach, this study concludes on five categories of policies: physical infrastructure, governance and law, finance and accounting, and agriculture. The policies illustrate government's recognition on development through waqf infrastructures and its capacity for socio-economic improvement
