Electronic Records Management in Thai Public Sector in the Digital Age
No full textThe article presents the current condition of e-records management practice in Thai government agencies in the digital age aiming to perform its services to the public and meet the needs of society. The data collected through a survey from ten ministries in 2022 reveals that the Thai public sector has already established infrastructure for managing public records in paper-based and electronic environments due to enforced recordkeeping legislation. Although current e-records management practice among government complies with the universal records life cycle model, there are still gaps due to a lack of fundamental support that can be improved
Visual Privacy Factors Influencing Usage of Spaces for Urban Housing
Get PDFContemporary terrace housing in Malaysia reflects colonial and Western influences, often misaligning with the spatial needs of modern Malay Muslim families. This study examines how visual privacy impacts space usage and housing satisfaction in urban terrace homes. Misaligned semi-outdoor spaces to occupant’s values may lead to underused core areas. A survey of 435 respondents, 10 case studies, statistical analyses, and space syntax methods reveal that visual privacy significantly influences satisfaction. The findings highlight the need for culturally sensitive design innovations, particularly at the home's perimeter, to enhance usability and satisfaction for modern Malay families in Malaysia
Application of Fuzzy Delphi Method for Cross-Cultural Corporate Identity Curriculum Model Design Development
Get PDFThis study developed the main component of a cross-cultural corporate identity curriculum model using a quantitative Delphi Fuzzy method with a seven-point Likert scale. Data analysis involved Triangular Fuzzy Numbers and Fuzzy Evaluation. The analysis revealed that curriculum components had a threshold value of less than 0.2, with expert agreement exceeding 75% and α-max values over 0.5. The results indicated a strong consensus among experts on the curriculum's components, including objectives, content, teaching methods, learning activities, and evaluation. The findings indicate that the main component of a cross-cultural corporate identity curriculum model is applicable in technical and design fields

Revisiting the Beveridge Curve: Evidence from Malaysian labour market
No full textExamining the Beveridge curve (BC), which depicts the nexus between unemployment and vacancy rates, has received more attention as a central organizing framework for economists to understand the labour markets. This study employs the Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) method to analyze the unemployment-vacancy rates in the Malaysian labour market from 1994 to 2023. Analysis reveals that vacancy rates and economics growth affect the unemployment rate. Furthermore, there is a negative correlation between the unemployment rate and the vacancy rate, confirming the Beveridge curve's pattern

Unleashing Scientific Creativity in Chemistry: Transformative learning activities using Nominal Group Technique
Get PDFThis study aims to examine activities to enhance scientific creativity in secondary school chemistry. Despite its significance, conventional chemistry education frequently stifles creativity due to inflexible, rote memorization strategies. Employing the Nominal Group Technique (NGT), seven experts identified essential activities, including formulating hypotheses, creative experiments, and visualization, as effective strategies. These activities increase scientific creativity dimensions, such as fluency and originality. The findings indicate that all proposed strategies obtained above 70% expert consensus. Future research should investigate the long-term effects with respect to these activities and the integration of digital tools to further enhance scientific creativity in chemistry teaching
