Psychosocial Dimension in Post-Cancer Quality Of Life: The Fuzzy Delphi Method
Get PDFUsing the Fuzzy Delphi Method, this study thoroughly examined the psychosocial aspects affecting breast cancer survivors' quality of life. The study featured a panel of five experts who evaluated various aspects of quality of life using a Multi-Research Method approach. The study examined four main areas: environmental factors, physical health, psychological well-being, and social connections. The findings highlight the importance of implementing integrated support systems that address psychological and physical needs. They also highlight the need of developing comprehensive screening tools and more customized survivorship care strategies
Indoor Air Quality and Perceived IAQ Symptoms at Small and Medium Food Enterprises in Malaysia
Get PDFWorkers in SME food industries are exposed to emissions from cooking processes that cause adverse health effects. This study evaluated the association of IAQ parameters in SME food industries with perceived IAQ symptoms. The most reported symptoms were fatigue, heavy-headedness, and headache. The study revealed significant associations between CO2 with fatigue symptoms (p = 0.0340), temperature with itching or burning eyes (p = 0.0111), and humidity with hoarse or dry throat symptom (p = 0.0013). The findings underscore the importance of addressing IAQ in SMEs cooking food industries to improve workers’ health and working conditions

This study addresses the gap in research regarding the application of energy solutions within Islamic gardens aligned with Maqasid Shariah. It aims to identify and categorise Islamic garden and green energy elements as essentials (Daruriyat), complements (Hajiyat), and embellishments (Tahsiniyat). Through thematic tafseer and scoping review analyses, the study explores the characteristics of Islamic gardens and sustainable design, contributing to policy-making and guiding inclusive campus designs in Malaysia

This study investigates the impact of martial arts training environments on the holistic development of college students in Beijing. Focusing on resilience, social skills, a sense of community, and self-discipline, the research highlights the significant benefits of martial arts in addressing the physical, mental, and social needs of students. The findings reveal substantial improvements in all dimensions, particularly in social skills and community engagement. This study contributes to the growing body of research on experiential learning, offering insights into how martial arts can complement traditional education and promote well-rounded student development in higher education settings.

A Case Study on Nurses’ Perceptions of Continuing Education in a Health Clinic in Kuala Lumpur
Get PDFContinuing education is crucial for nurses to enhance skills, adapt to healthcare advancements, and improve care quality. This cross-sectional study explores motivators and barriers to continuing education among 122 nurses (grades U29–U32) at a Kuala Lumpur health clinic. Data collected via online questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS identified motivators like improving care quality (91.8%), career progression (91.0%), and self-confidence (88.5%). Barriers included time constraints (73.0%), financial limitations (74.6%), and domestic responsibilities (82.0%). Findings highlight the need for targeted support to promote professional growth

This study investigated the function of knowledge-based leadership in managing sustainable energy in Iran. The issues addressed included sustainable energy, reliance on fossil fuels, energy disparities, and sociocultural barriers. This qualitative study involved six semi-structured interviews with key leaders. The findings pointed out the emergence of knowledge-based leaders capable of connecting education-industry gaps and promoting sustainable practices. Knowledgeable leaders can handle the complexities in the energy sector and invest in sustainable technologies to create a supportive environment in which sustainable energy can flourish
Tourism Experiences of Persons with Disabilities in Malaysia: Voices of mobility-impaired people
Get PDFTourism is a fundamental right, yet mobility-impaired Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) face significant barriers in Malaysia. This study explores their tourism experiences, highlighting challenges such as inadequate infrastructure, limited independence, and insufficient support from tourism providers. Using a qualitative phenomenological approach, four semi-structured online interviews were conducted. Findings reveal a need for accessible transport, accommodations, and inclusive event planning. Advocating for universal design principles and comprehensive accessibility guidelines, this study emphasizes the urgency of inclusive policies to ensure PwDs can travel with dignity, independence, and confidence, fostering a more equitable tourism landscape
Strategic Speculative Futures Framework in Architecture and Sustainable Development

Existing methodologies often lack structured approaches to long-term uncertainties. This paper introduces the Strategic Speculative Futures Framework (SSFF), which integrates systems thinking, strategic foresight, and speculative design for architecture and sustainable development. SSFF explores multiple future scenarios, identifying gaps in architectural discourse and proposing adaptive strategies. This study synthesises insights from systems thinking and futures studies using a qualitative, conceptual approach. While still theoretical, SSFF offers a structured pathway to rethink sustainability, advocating for architects, educators, and researchers to engage in future-oriented design.

Using a bibliometric analysis of 297 papers from the Scopus database, the study investigates grammar teaching and learning, identifying developing trends, eminent authors, organisations, countries, and the main themes in grammar instruction and learning using innovative approaches. The study exposes trends and ongoing research topics using tools like Microsoft Excel, VOS Viewer, and Harzing, thus evaluating their influence. The classification of different clusters helps the study clarify overlooked research topics and offers intelligent suggestions for further grammar studies
