Role of Sustainable Faculty Leadership in Shaping Learning Organizations in Malaysian Higher Education Institutions
Get PDFThis qualitative study explores the role of sustainable leadership in fostering learning organizations within Malaysian public higher education institutions. Using focus group discussions with academic staff from three public universities, the research identifies how sustainability-driven leadership influences long-term strategic planning, institutional adaptability, and faculty empowerment. Thematic analysis reveals that sustainable leadership fosters innovation, cultural transformation, and alignment with institutional visions, thereby supporting continuous learning and enhancing organizational resilience. The results contribute to understanding leadership in the Malaysian context and recommend the integration of sustainable practices to enhance future readiness. The study also advocates for further research incorporating comparative and quantitative methods to improve generalizability

Get PDFThe rapid growth of technology has led to changes in today’s workforce. Malaysia has witnessed a rise in graduate underemployment, which threatens the country's economic goals. Although employability research is extensive, studies focusing on Islamic banking and finance graduates remain limited. This study examines the relationship between digital literacy, CareerEDGE predictors, self-efficacy as a mediator, and graduate employability. A quantitative cross-sectional survey was conducted among recent graduates of Islamic banking and finance in Malaysia to identify factors that enhance employability in the digital economy. The results provide insightful information for policymakers, educators, and industry stakeholders to enhance employability outcomes
Enhancing Crop Cooling of Greenhouse in the Yangtze River Delta Region: A CFD Method approach
No full textThis study addresses the challenges of inadequate air circulation and excessive internal temperatures in greenhouses within the Yangtze River Delta region. The research uses experimental methods and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Findings revealed that introducing 90° side windows significantly improved airflow and temperature distribution, whereas 45° side windows had minimal impact. Adding layers improved cooling performance at all measurement points. However, as the number of shading net layers increases, the cooling capacity decreases with each additional shade net layer. These findings offer a scientific basis for this region's greenhouse ventilation and shading nets using strategies for optimizing greenhouse environments
Taking up Digital Space: Moroccan women and visual agency on Instagram
No full textThis article examines how young Moroccan women utilize visual self-framing on Instagram to assert agency, challenge patriarchal constraints, and resist orientalist narratives through everyday visual practices. Grounded in decolonial feminist theory and based on a content analysis of 30 Instagram posts set in public and semi-public settings, the paper explores how ordinary female users construct agency and disrupt patriarchal and orientalist discourses through gaze, posture, clothing, spatial presence, and composition. These visual strategies position Instagram as a digital public space where Moroccan women engage in subtle, nonverbal acts of feminist resistance and self-assertion
Redress Mechanism in the Financial Dispute Resolution: A bibliometric analysis
No full textConflicts between consumers and financial service providers have intensified due to complex transactions and diverse financial products in a digital economy. Traditional courts are often costly and slow, prompting interest in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods like mediation, arbitration, and online dispute resolution. This study conducts a bibliometric analysis of 224 Scopus-indexed articles (2000–2024) to explore trends and themes in financial dispute resolution. Using VOSviewer, keyword networks were visualized. Findings show growing interest in ADR, consumer protection, and regulatory reform. Despite limitations to Scopus data, this study offers insights for future research and policy development in financial redress mechanisms
Factors Influencing Consumers Buying Intentions towards Electric Cars
Get PDFElectric vehicle adoption has grown considerably in these few years in Malaysia and is to grow. It is crucial to explore mechanism-driven consumers' intention to buy electric vehicles. This study uses the Valence Framework to investigate consumers' perception factors that influence their intention to purchase electric vehicles. This study applied the PLS-SEM technique for data analysis based on convenience sampling methods and a sample size of 582. The analysis revealed that perceived environment, monetary benefit, risk, and symbol significantly influence consumers' purchase intention on electric vehicles. However, the perceived fee was insignificant to consumers' purchase intention. Policy implications and recommendations for policymakers and industry players were provided for the growth of electric vehicles in the future

The objective is to examine how the Archive engages with the community by applying Stevens, Flinn, and Shepherd's community engagement framework. The findings of document analysis, archival records, and secondary sources indicate that Chulalongkorn University Memorial Hall engages external communities in all five participatory areas. However, challenges such as limited documentation and underutilized collaboration opportunities remain. This study offers insights into the benefits of community engagement and provides basic guidelines for community engagement for university archives in Thailand

This study examines the antecedents of individual creativity among academicians in higher learning institutions (HEIs) in Malaysia. The study focuses on the influence of four organisational culture dimensions: adhocracy, clan, market, and hierarchy. This study adopts the quantitative approach to answer the research questions. Data collected from 100 academicians were analysed using PLS-SEM. The study's findings identify that clan and market cultures significantly predict individual creativity. The study contributes to theoretical and practical development in encouraging the individual's creativity
