Elucidating Three Decades of Online Banking Adoption: The bibliometric analysis
This paper analyses the current state and publication trends in online banking adoption, identifying influential publications, major contributors and key research areas. Using a comprehensive literature review and bibliometric analysis, it evaluates publication trends, collaboration patterns and the evolution of online banking technologies from the 1990s to today. Findings show a progression from basic functionalities to advanced, AI-driven services, highlighting seminal works and key players in the field. The study, limited by its literature scope and database selection, provides valuable insights for enhancing online banking services and strategies, contributing to the field of understanding and future research directions
Decompartmentalizing TVET Final Year Projects: Integrating language proficiency through cross-curricular instructional design
Final-year projects (FYPs) in TVET institutions showcase students’ technical expertise, yet a gap remains in language and communication skills crucial for workplace readiness. This study examines four FYP assessment rubrics from Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM), focusing on language-related criteria like report writing, presentation, and professional communication. Findings show technical skills are prioritized, while language proficiency is underemphasized. To bridge this gap, the study proposes enhanced rubrics, targeted instruction, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. These efforts align TVET education with industry needs, supporting curriculum reforms that improve graduate employability in line with the Malaysia Education Blueprint 2015–202
Designing a TPACK-Based Mobile Learning Model for Biology Education using the Nominal Group Techniques
Mobile learning (m-learning) enhances STEM education, particularly in biology, by supporting visualization and interaction. However, a structured framework integrating technological, pedagogical, and content knowledge (TPACK) is essential. This study designs a TPACK-based mobile learning model for biology using the Nominal Group Technique (NGT). A workshop with 10 experts identified seven key components and 67 elements, with nine elements rejected due to low consensus. The validated framework will guide model development using Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM) to enhance critical thinking, collaboration, and digital citizenship, ultimately fostering effective mobile learning environments for biology education
Active Learning Methods in Environmental Values and Ethics Education
Environmental education in values and ethics is essential for promoting sustainability. However, many citizens lack environmental awareness amid global ecological crises. To effectively teach students in universities about environmental values and ethics, efforts should focus on improving the quality and effectiveness of environmental education. This study employs a mixed-methods approach. A purposive sample of 48 university students was analysed. The results indicate that combining traditional teaching with technology significantly enhances awareness of environmental values and ethics, thereby increasing student engagement and potentially transforming the landscape of environmental education
Empowering Mathematics Teachers as Agents of Change: Developing a readiness model through Fuzzy Delphi insights
This study developed a model of mathematics teachers' readiness as agents of change using the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM). Thirteen experts validated the main components and elements of the model, derived from an extensive literature review. The results demonstrated that the proposed model matched the requirements and attained a high degree of expert consensus. In the analysis conducted, four primary components were identified, namely mathematics teacher readiness, professional knowledge, pedagogical skills, and teaching and learning. This model can serve as a guide and reference for mathematics teachers to make improvements in their education, ultimately enhancing the quality of their teaching
A Proposed Financial Inclusion Model Integrating Zakat, Waqf, and Islamic Crowdfunding for Sustainable Poverty Alleviation in Supporting Ekonomi MADANI
This study proposes an integrated Islamic social finance model combining Zakat, Waqf, and Islamic crowdfunding within Malaysia’s Ekonomi MADANI to address poverty. By unifying short-term aid (Zakat), asset-based investment (waqf), and entrepreneurial capital, the model tackles both symptoms and causes of poverty. Empirical findings suggest a 23–41% increase in effectiveness. However, fragmented governance remains a barrier, especially among state zakat bodies and crowdfunding platforms. The study recommends forming a National Islamic Finance Integration Council, digital database interconnection, legal reforms, and blockchain adoption. The model offers a culturally grounded, systemic approach to achieving SDG 1 through ethical, integrative development finance
Compassion Fatigue, Burnout, and Psychological Flexibility among Healthcare Workers: Emotional Strain in Sarawak Tertiary Hospitals
This cross-sectional study investigated the relationships between Compassion Fatigue (CF), Burnout (BO), and Psychological-Flexibility (PF) among Healthcare Workers (HCWs) in Sarawak government hospitals. Results showed that 45.7% of HCWs experienced CF, while 52.4% reported personal burnout (PB), 17.8% work-related burnout (WB), and 10.9% client-related burnout (CB). The mean PF score was 81.7 (SD = 16.3). Multivariate analysis revealed significant associations between gender and CF (p < .001), marital status and PB (p = .046), then work-position and CB (p = .025), suggesting that sociodemographic factors significantly influence occupational stress. These findings highlight the need for targeted interventions support HCWs well-being
Youth and Patriotism Values for the Malaysian Nation-State
The decline in patriotic values among Malaysian youth is a growing concern. Thus, a qualitative case study was conducted using a semi-structured interview with seven selected experts in Malaysia to identify the role of youth in shaping Malaysian national patriotic values. The declining levels of patriotism among Malaysian youth are attributed to a lack of interest in political engagement, the inadequate role of leaders in nurturing these values, and the enduring influence of colonial policies. To counter this trend, the youth must fortify their identity, cultivate patriotism rooted in the Malaysian Constitution, and embrace local wisdom
Digital Storytelling and Legal Feminist Struggles in the Maghreb: A critical review of NGO strategies
This article presents a narrative review of feminist digital activism in Morocco and Tunisia. It focuses on how NGOs use social media to raise awareness, build collective narratives, and advocate for legal reform. Based on a corpus of literature from 2015 to 2025, the analysis highlights strategies of digital appropriation, storytelling, and legal protest. The study shows that digital tools are powerful but unevenly accessible, and that online activism reflects both local struggles and global influences. It offers a critical perspective on feminist mobilization in postcolonial North African contexts
Sustainable Development and Tech-SMEs Performance in China
This research examines the impact of economic, social, and environmental sustainability dimensions on the performance of tech-based SMEs within the Sichuan—Chongqing economic region. Drawing on 371 valid survey responses and employing Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) via Smart-PLS, the results reveal that each of the three sustainability dimensions exerts a positive impact on organizational performance. The findings offer empirical validation for Dynamic Capability Theory and yield actionable implications for strategic planning and sustainability policymaking in the SME sector. The study also acknowledges its limitations and outlines potential avenues for future investigation
