    Get PDF
This study utilized the Fuzzy Delphi Method (FDM) to identify and prioritize key factors contributing to disciplinary problems among secondary students, particularly within Asian contexts. By engaging expert panels, the study systematically evaluated various factors such as academic pressure, peer influence, and family dynamics. Through defuzzification, consensus was reached on most items, highlighting the method's effectiveness in addressing complex behavioral issues. The findings provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers to implement targeted interventions, thereby improving school climate and reducing misbehavior

Feasibility of Combined BFR, Education and Physiotherapy Program for Patellofemoral Pain: A pilot study

    Get PDF
Recent advancements in managing Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (PFPS) highlight the potential of Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training, education, and low-intensity exercises as innovative interventions. Combining BFR with neuromuscular control has shown promise in enhancing strength at lower intensities. This study assessed the feasibility of incorporating BFR, education, and low-intensity physiotherapy exercises into PFPS rehabilitation, evaluating recruitment, retention, treatment delivery, and intervention implementation. While no statistically significant differences were found, clinically meaningful improvements in muscle strength, function, and quality of life were observed. These findings support the need for more extensive trials to refine and confirm the intervention's effectiveness in musculoskeletal rehabilitation

    Get PDF
The study explores the application of CLIL in English language oral teaching within a bilingual fashion design course in China. This study will explore the challenges in applying CLIL as perceived by one teacher and six students provided in the semi-structured interviews. It highlights challenges in oral skills, vocabulary development, and professional knowledge. Findings suggest that simplifying grammar, emphasizing vocabulary, and providing sentence patterns can aid student communication. Among the pedagogical implications are the integration of CLIL in bilingual courses, increased teacher training in CLIL, and improved institutional support. Long-term studies are needed to evaluate CLIL’s sustained impact and application

    Get PDF
Work-life balance (WLB) among female healthcare professionals (FHPs) in Asia is compromised by intersecting professional and family responsibilities, impacting their quality of life (QOL) and job satisfaction. This thematic review of 21 studies across seven Asian countries identifies key factors affecting WLB and QOL, including excessive workloads, cultural expectations, mental health strain, gender inequity, and insufficient workplace support. Eight themes emerged, highlighting systemic challenges. Recommendations include flexible policies, enhanced mental health resources, and resilience-building interventions. Addressing these issues is vital for improving FHPs' well-being and sustaining healthcare services in Asia

    Get PDF
The Chinese coworking industry has experienced substantial growth; however, research on coworking spaces in China remains limited. This study conducts a comprehensive literature review, analyzing 51 studies on coworking environments across various disciplines and countries. While most research focuses on managerial and organizational aspects, the role of the physical environment has been overlooked. To address this gap, a conceptual framework was developed to highlight the effects of the physical environment on social interactions among coworking-users, fostering a sense of community within coworking spaces. This study aims to enhance coworking environments in China, supporting users' entrepreneurial success through an interior architecture perspective

    Get PDF
Digitalization and population aging are profoundly reshaping contemporary Chinese society, with 14.3% of internet users now aged 60 and above. This study examines elderly Chinese individuals' adaptation to the digital environment through a survey of 205 participants aged 60 and above. Findings reveal widespread basic digital usage (88.78% use smartphones) but limited advanced engagement. While intergenerational support is the primary learning channel (87.32%), significant barriers exist, including communication difficulties and psychological concerns. Digital services' age-friendliness (satisfaction 2.92/5) requires improvement, particularly in accessibility features. The study recommends enhancing age-friendly design and optimizing support systems to promote digital inclusion among the elderly
