    THE ETHICS OF ISLAMIC DA’WAH IN RELATING WITH NON-MUSLIMS(أخلاقيات الدعوة الإسلامية في التعامل مع غير المسلمين)

    Powerful nations have resorted to the denial of their morals and do not abide by them, they legalize killings and treachery under the disguise of necessity and need, which serves to achieving their interests, and devoid of the standards of morality. Despite all that, they suspect Islamic da’wah of being spread by sword, that Muslims are morally unfair to non-Muslims, and that Islam persecutes Non-Muslims.The importance of this paper is to show the advancement of Islamic da’wah and its ethico-relation with non-Muslims; the people of the Book and others, in peace and war. The paper treats the Islamic da’wah ethics with non-Muslims through the Qur’an and the Sunnah of the Prophet S‘AW, and a glimpse of the rightly guided Khaliphs. The paper uses the descriptive analytical inductive method to prove that the world is in need of the ethics of da’wah to achieve security, moral progress, and material advancement. Islam is disapproves anyone who misbehaves in his dealing with Muslims and non-Muslims. Ethics is a social necessity that no society can survive without. The Islamic da’wah emphasizes that the ethics of Muslims are indivisible; morality is one unit in all heavenly messages. One cannot be loyal to a sect, and be betrayal to the others. When moralities are lacked and corrupted, the members of the society become disintegrated and disoriented; they can no longer live in harmony and peace, and they cannot build any civilization. Keywords: Ethics, Da’wah, Islam, Relationship, non-Muslims. ملخصالدول القوية تلجأ إلى نقض أخلاقها ولا تلتزم بها، فيبرورن القتل والغدر تحت مسمى الضرورة والحاجة، بما يتناسب مع تحقيق مصالحهم بعيدا عن معايير الأخلاق الحسنة، ومع ذلك يثيرون شبهات حول الدعوة الإسلامية في أنها انتشرت بالسيف وسوء اخلاق المسلمين مع غير المسلمين، وأن الإسلام يضطهد غير المسلمين. تبرز أهمية هذه الورقة في إظهار رقي الدعوة الإسلامية بأخلاقها وتعاملها مع غير المسلمين؛ من أهل الكتاب وغيرهم في السلم والحرب. فتعرض أخلاق الدعوة الإسلامية مع غير المسلمين من خلال القرآن والسنة النبوية ولمحة من عصر الخلفاء الراشدين وفق المنهج الوصفي الاستقرائي التحليلي، لتصل إلى أن العالم بحاجة الى أخلاق الدعوة حتى يتحقق له الأمن والرقي المعنوي مع الرقي المادي.إن الإسلام بريء من كل من يسيء الأخلاق في تعامله مع المسلمين وغير المسلمين. إن مكارم الأخلاق ضرورة اجتماعية لا يستطيع أي مجتمع أن يعيش بدونها. إن الدعوة الإسلامية تركز على أن أخلاقيات المسلم غير قابلة للتجزئة فالأخلاق وحدة واحدة في جميع الرسالات السماوية. لا يمكن لإنسان أن يكون وفيا أمينا مع جماعة، ويكون غادرا خائنا مع آخرين. عند فقد الأخلاق وفسادها يتفكك أفراد المجتمع ويتصارعون، فلا يمكن لهم العيش في أمن وسلام ولا يستطيعون بناء حضارة.كلمات مفتاحية: الأخلاق- الدعوة – الإسلام – التعامل- غير المسلمين

    Despite researchers’ interests in studying Divine Sovereignty and its link to democracy since the last quarter of the 20th century, this Islamic principle still need more clarification, particularly in view of rising Islamophobia and fear from political Islam since early 21th century. This research aims at reviewing and re-interpreting the Sovereignty (al-Hakimiyah) principle as well as defending its proper interpretation against critics. It aims also at uncovering its significance in steering meta-public policy within an integrated perspective that does not ignore the role of Shura, wisdom and good governance. To remove any theocratic shadow or bad man-made implementation of the Sovereignty principle, this research coined a more core, clear and representative term: Islamic Enlightenment (IE) as a high-level objective of Shari‘a. The new term emphasizes knowledge and mercy aspects of Shari‘a instead of pure politics and authority of al-Hakimiyah. The IE means the ability of Shari‘a to provide guidance to humanity (identifying ultimate good and bad, right and wrong) at both the individual and society levels, without impairing mankind delegated authority in legislation. This research also explores the normative link between Shari‘a and state, making the IE a substantial opportunity rather than a political challenge, particularly in reaching objective common good. This is critically significant in view of the deep Western moral skepticism as embodied in the so-called naturalistic fallacy and Hume's law in moral philosophy. The research adopts a multidisciplinary approach that combines modern Islamic studies with ethical and political theory, history and public policy analysis, based on a synthesis of different components of the topic. Finally, the research proposes a set of conclusions and recommendations, of which a key recommendation for future research to formulate a high-level Islamic normative theory of public governance and wisdom with directing principles and institutional applications. This is necessary to guarantee the successful execution of the divine IE through a fallible man-made praxis

    Da’wah in Islam has distinguishing role in establishing values and principles in the society, and the most important of these values is security, which, in its comprehensive sense, is required for both the individual and the society. The contemporary human life suffers from various waves of turmoil and insecurity, be it material security, which is represented in the provision of food and medicine, or psychological and emotional security, through which peace of mind and self-happiness are realized. This article aims at examining the role of Islamic da’wah in achieving security, from Qur’anic and Sunnah perspective. It also serves a response on those who accuse Islam of violence and disorder. The article adopts descriptive analytic inductive method. The article concludes that Islamic da’wah is an effective and important means in highlighting the importance of security to both the individual and the society, and that it is a universal legitimate necessity for advocacy. The Islamic method of da’wah aims at building an individual and societal systems through which is actualized for both Muslims and non-Muslims alike. A Muslim should be a good representation of Islamic da’wah and a security measure to everyone around him. The comprehensive security can only be achieved when man cohabits harmoniously with himself and other creatures around him, and this is clearly indicated through following the Islamic da’wah guidance and fundamentals in the Qur’an and Sunnah.Keywords: Societal security, Fundamentals, Islamic da’wah, Societal security.ملخصالدعوة الإسلامية لها دور متميز في ترسيخ القيم والمباديء الحياتية في المجتمع، ومن أهم هذه القيم قيمة الأمن، حيث الحاجة الى الأمن بمفهومه الشامل للفرد والمجتمع،إن حياة الإنسان المعاصر تعاني من موجات متنوعة من الاضطراب وعدم الأمن؛ سواء الأمن المادي الذي يتمثل في توفير الغذاء والدواء، أو الأمن النفسي والقلبي الذي بسببه تتحقق راحة البال وسعادة النفس. تهدف هذه المقاله إلى كشف دور الدعوة الإسلامية في تحقيق الأمن  من خلال القرآن والسنة، والرد على المتهمين للإسلام بأنه دين عنف واضطراب، واعتمدت المقالة المنهج الوصفي التحليلي الاستقرائي. وقد خلص البحث إلى عدة نتائج منها: أن الدعوة الإسلامية أداة فاعلة ومهمة في إبراز أهمية الأمن على الفرد والمجتمع وأنه ضرورة كونية وفريضة دعوية شرعية. أن منهج الدعوة الإسلامية يهدف إلى بناء نسق فردي واجتماعي  يحقق الأمن للمسلم وغير المسلم.أن الفرد المسلم يجب أن يكون  صورة  طيبة للدعوة الإسلامية وأداة أمن وطمأنينة لكل من حوله.أن الأمن الشامل لا يتحقق إلا بانسجام الإنسان مع نفسه وسائر الأحياء، ويكون هذا بصورة أوضح من خلال اتباع توجيهات ومقومات الدعوة الإسلامية في القرآن والسنة.الكلمات المفتاحية: الأمن المجتمعي – مقومات- الدعوة الإسلامي

    The concept of moderation basically refers to being in the middle of two extremes. This concept can be understood in larger scope which includes the matter of creed, whorship, social relation, economy dan leadership. Nowadays, there are a lot of chaos that has been lit up by a group of people who relate themselves to Islam, thus the Western does not review Islam as a religion that promote justice. It clearly can be seen from the attacks of the groups of Islamic State (ISIS), al-Qaeda, Jamaah Islamiyyah and others. These attacks affect the nomination of Islam as a religion of good and mercy. Hence, this research has been done to highlight the concept of al-wasatiyyah according to perspective of ahl al-sunnah wa al-jama’ah. The research based on the method of libratory study (qualitative) to get the result. The research also collects the data and information via documentation and the method of inductive to get the conclusion. The result showed that ahl al-sunnah wa al-jama’ah stand out in introducing the concept of al-wasatiyyah in creed. The madhhab of Islamic creed is dominated by two group people called as al-Asha’irah and al-Maturidiyyah

    The interpretation of al-Shawkani, which is called Fath al-Qadeer, contains many of the irregular readings، especially in Surah al-An’am that we are discussing. Al-Shawkani reported about this subject in sixty-eight (odd readings). He deduced in the statement of the meanings of interpretation, linguistic and doctrinal and jurisprudence and other meanings. The approach followed by Imam Al-Shawkani in his introduction to the readings was not a method of his own and different from others, but was similar to many of the interpreters، and was relying on the transfer of a lot of readings from the books of advanced interpretations and not rely on the books of the original readings such as the Altiabah book of Ibn al-Jazri and the Ithaf book of Demiate and the Almohtaseb book for Ibn Gini. In this article، the researcher explained the extent of the efforts of the Al-Shawkani in the science of readings، explaining their linguistic significance in the statement of what forms and what is their further in the interpretation of Aiat. Because the science of readings is the origin of the language and that the language and its rules are subject to the Quran. in this article, the researcher focused on the abnormal readings that Al-Shawkani did not attribute to al-An‘am with its linguistic significance. In our present era, many people do not care about abnormal readings due to the suspicion of their validity and say that there is no point in them. And a great role in all the sciences of jurisprudence interpretation or jurisprudence or the origins of jurisprudence or modernity and doctrine and language and rhetoric and other sciences, this shortening them towards their religion that they neglected the importance of these readings, all because of their distance from science and knowledge

    THE DILALECTIC OF SHURA (CONSULTATION) AND DEMOCRACY IN THE CONTEMPORARY ISLAMIC THOUGHT (جدلية الشورى والديمقراطية في الفكر الإسلامي المعاصر )

    The contemporary argument which is raised about the right of Shura (consultation) or democracy and the tying of the concept of democracy with the principle of Shura (consultation) in the contemporary Islamic thought is resulting from lack of accurate knowledge of the truth about Islamic history and its experiences which have a unique model. It is also resulting from not taking the responsibility in carrying the burdens of the correct concepts of Da’wa (call to Islam) which are considered one of the problems which face the contemporary challenges of renewal. This prompted the researcher to discuss this topic through answering the following main question: What is the extent of agreement and disagreement between the concept of Shura (consultation 0 and democracy from the point of view of Islamic thought. The study aims to understand the nature of the relationship between Shura (consultation) and democracy in the contemporary Islamic thought, to clarify the varying directions in its position vi-a-vis democracy and Shura (consultation) and to indicate the state of agreement and disagreement in the opinions on the concept of democracy and Shura (consultation). The researcher in her study employed the descriptive analytical methodology to understand all the opinions and to deal with the topic from all of its aspects. The most important conclusion of the study is that Shura (consultation) is ohe of the components of ruling in Islam. For Islam does not know ruling which is based on tyranny. Shura (consultation) in Islam is a general theory which is valid for every time and place. By a scrutinizing look, we notice the volume of change brought about by the Shari’a (Islamic religious law) on the system of ruling. For the authority of the ruler was an absolute authority until Islam made the interest of the community the basis of the relationship between the rulers and the ruled and not a power for the rulers. It was evident through the study that there are three varying directions. Some opinions attacked contemporary democracy and considered that Islam should not be mixed up with democracy, and we cannot cal Islam as being a democratic system. Other opinions highlighted the term of the democracy of Islam vis-à-vis the contemporary democracy and not heeding whether Islam agrees or disagrees with democracy. The third direction worked on highlighting the theory of Shura (consultation) in Islam vis-à-vis the contemporary democracy, and they said that the principle of Shura (consultation) is deeper than the concepts of contemporary democracy

    University students face psychological stresses as a result of academic, social or economic problems. The aim of the study is to cast the light on the psychological stresses encounter university students and the effective methods in dealing with them. In the current study, the researcher follows the analytical descriptive approach in data collection and discussion. The study identifies of psychological stresses and theories that explicate them, also it presents the causes and effects of psychological stresses on university students, effect methods to encounter psychological stresses, and it refers to some of the previous studies and researches on this subject. It finds that the psychological stress is a state of psychological or physical imbalance within the individual as a result of exposure to a lot of factors of the surrounding environment, and interpreting several theories of psychological stresses, such as Hans Sealy Theory, Cognitive Theory and Behavioral Theory, and the sources of psychological stress on Students universities, personal and school resources, examination anxiety, family, health, social and economic resources. The study also shows the effects of psychological, emotional, cognitive, behavioral and social stress. There are also many effective methods to face the psychological stress as changing the way of thinking, changing the way of life, use the strategy of problem-solving, rational thinking, modify the content of self-talk and relaxation and meditation and humor

    The research aims to define the concept of Islamic media in terms of its universality, comprehensiveness, and illustrate the educational influence of the Islamic media. The main search problem can be defined with the following question What is the role of Islamic media in contemporary educational awareness? To answer this fundamental question, and to achieve the objectives of this research, the researchers have deployed both descriptive and analytical approaches that ideally suit the nature of this research. The research came out with many results, including that the media, especially modern media types, such as radio and television, have a clear and direct impact on children in particular and society in general. Moreover, the research also revealed the necessity to produce a practical moderate media that achieve our exalted educational goals, and efficiently contributes to the overall education process.     There are many characteristics discriminate the autistic child from other children. Studies and research have indicated that the most important characteristic of the autistic child is the cognitive disorders, and its consequences, such as the   disability of the child to imitate, understand, and create as well as, the significant lack in the social communication and emotional response to the surrounding environment. Cognitive skills encompass various types and shapes which require special care and necessary roles   on the part of the family and this heightens the need for analyzing the literature and studies related to   these roles. The researchers therefore wrote this research, which aims to demonstrate the cognitive and mental characteristics of the autistic child as well as the difficulties that encounter  the autistic child   and how to deal with these difficulties in the light of the existing data, theories, research and field studies. The research has been conducted based on two approaches: The inductive approach and the descriptive approach in studying the literature and drawing these characteristics and proposing the necessary roles for them by the family. The research ended with a number of results, including the importance of good listening by the family to the autistic child when speaking, to use multitasking tasks rather than to teach tasks at once, to speak out loud to the autistic child, to help him be related to what is being said, and to use visual symbols to interpret things, especially in social relationships. Keywords:  Autistic children, autism, family, mental characteristics, cognitive characteristics هناك العديد من الخصائص التي تميز الطفل التوحدي عن غيره من الأطفال، وقد أشارت الدراسات والأبحاث إلى أن أهم ما يميز الطفل التوحدي هو الاضطرابات المعرفية، وما يترتب عليها من عدم قدرته على التقليد، والفهم، والمرونة، والإبداع، ونقص ملحوظ في التواصل الاجتماعي والاستجابة الانفعالية للمحيط، وتتضمن المهارات المعرفية العديد من الأنماط والأشكال، وكل هذه الخصائص تتطلب رعاية وأدوارا خاصة من جانب الأسرة، وهو ما يستدعي البحث في الدراسات السابقة واستقصاء نتائجها المتعلقة بهذه الأدوار؛ ولذلك عمد الباحثون لكتابة هذا البحث والذي يهدف لبيان الخصائص المعرفية والعقلية للطفل التوحدي، والصعوبات التي تواجهه وكيفية التدرب عليها، وتعامل الأسرة معها في ضوء معطيات النظريات والبحوث والدراسات الميدانية. وقد اعتمد البحث على المنهجين: المنهج الاستقصائي والمنهج الوصفي في الاطلاع على الدراسات السابقة واستخلاص تلك الخصائص واقتراح الأدوار اللازمة لها من الأسرة، وقد انتهى البحث إلى عدد من النتائج منها: أهمية الإنصات الجيد من جانب الأسرة إلى للطفل التوحدي عند حديثه، ومحاولة فهم ما يحاول أن يتواصل به، واستخدام المهمات ذات المكونات المتعددة بدلاً من تعليم المهام في مرة واحدة، والتحدث بصوت مرتفع أمام الطفل التوحدي بما يحب، لمساعدته بأن يكون مرتبطاً بما يقال عنه، واستخدام الرموز البصرية لتفسير الأشياء، لا سيّما في العلاقات الاجتماعية.الكلمات المفتاحية: الطفل التوحدي، التوحد، الأسرة، الخصائص العقلية، الخصائص المعرفية
