Investigating the Changing Role of Women in Society based on Satisfaction Level of Kitchen Design Pattern (Case study: Kitchens of Zones 1, 2 and 7 of Shiraz City, 2008-2018)
All human societies are influenced by gender patterns emanating from society. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of the women position in society based on satisfaction level of the kitchen design model in contemporary housing in Shiraz. The present study is descriptive correlational design study. The study populations were the women living in zones 1, 2 and 7 of Shiraz city, by using Cochran's formula, the sample size of the study was 390 people selected by cluster sampling. In order to collect data, a researcher-made questionnaire with Cronbach's alpha of 0.78 and interviews were used. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-test for two independent groups. Examining the current situation and expectations of women living in three, high, middle and low-income areas of Shiraz showed that, women level of satisfaction with the kitchen design pattern, due to different cultures, lifestyles, women's beliefs and differences in jobs and education levels in urban areas is not the same, and the user will behave differently while facing the same actions. The study results highlights the need to provide a variety of kitchen design patterns with respect to changing the style and role of women in different urban areas in the architectural design process
The Role of Virtual Theatre The Role of Virtual Theatre Components on Scenery Quality of Virtual Theatre using Austin Wang's Approach
Audience feedback in modern societies has fundamentally changed primarily due to developments in time and the process of replacing signs of virtual reality with reality has taken place. Moreover, there is an opportunity for a large number of audiences to be recognized and to actively engage with a few limitations. Meanwhile, the designers of some countries, due to the lack of attention to environmental, security, social and economic considerations, which are considered the most important aspects of using this function, have not been able to keep pace with the needs of their audience which resulted in diminishing this art. Therefore, the present article examines the fundamental changes and developments in security, economic and social methods of attracting and experiencing augmented reality and the performance of cyberspace in order to develop theater stage design, considering Austin Wang's works on the concept of place, its essentiality and time in theater. The research method is correlation, and statistical tests of Smirnov's Kolmograph, multiple regression, and Pearson correlation test were put to use so as to determine the relationship, intensity and direction of the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The results indicate that the "sense of helplessness" variable is the most effective variable on the virtual theater stage, and then, the second priority is the independent variable "environmental fluidity" and the third priority which is "color intensity" variable has the greatest impact on the scene. They have virtual theater production, and finally the following fourth to tenth variables are based on similar priority: "space scale and layout", "scene variety", "light quality", "imagination", "sound", "speed of movement" and "sense of innocence" which are necessary for the virtualization of the theater stage
Screening the Criteria for Tradition and Modernism in Iranian Academic Buildings Using Fuzzy Delphi Technique
Fundamental changes in Iranian architecture from the middle of the Qajar era contracted Iranian architecture flow in a different direction from the past and affected the building. One of the influential currents in contemporary Iranian architecture is the formation of modern architectural currents and, consequently, the combination of modern architecture and traditional architecture. Traditional fusion and modernism are clearly reflected in the body of several buildings, including academic buildings. This study aims to extract and screen the criteria for tradition and modernism in academic buildings, especially “faculties”. This study uses a mixed methodology. Criteria are explored using semi-structured interviews using grounded theory methodology. The strategy used in the quantitative step is screening using the fuzzy Delphi technique. For this purpose, the criteria governing tradition and modernism are extracted through attributional analysis and desk research. Accordingly, the text of the interview was edited. The results of the interviews were imported into ATLAS.ti, yielding the criteria for tradition and modernism in the faculties. A questionnaire was then developed to assess each criterion's contribution from the perspective of students and faculty. They were purposefully distributed to screen and evoke tradition and modernism in faculty buildings using the fuzzy Delphi and MATLAB techniques. According to the results, for modern criteria, “Free plan”, “segregation of spatial realms” and “avoiding ornaments and excessive simplicity”, belong to the rank of VL membership degree. On the other hand, for traditional criteria, “confinement hierarchy”, and “yard arrangement using natural elements”, Belong to the membership degrees VL, and VL, respectively
Comparative Study of Deleuze “Body Without Organs” and Merleau-Ponty’s “The Living Body” Physical Interaction with Sensory Perception and Contemporary Art
The French philosopher Gilles Deleuze was more concerned with the concept of the body in comparison to other French poststructuralist theorists. On the other hand, Merleau-Ponty was a French existentialist and phenomenological philosopher, known for his emphasis on the role of body in the cognitive science, and among the philosophers is known as the philosopher of the body. The body without organs is a term taken from Antonin Artaud. Deleuze in his philosophy, emphasizes fluidity and consonance with the world, and considers the organism to be the prisoner of life. He considers emotion as a force that brings man from potential to actual moment and counts the foundation of art on sensory perception. The purpose of art for him is to convey the sense of things that lead to the registration of forces by the surface of the body. Merleau-Ponty calls the body as a condition for the possibility of any kind of experience, and the "living body" in his view, is the axis of the human cognitive and being in the world. He considers the harmony of the body with the world as pre-reflective and sensory perception as pre-cognitive, and this enumerates sensory perception following the transfer of sense from the artwork and in lived experience. The purpose of this study is a comparative study of Deleuze "body without organs" and Merleau-Ponty "living body", so that it can finally make its audience aware of commonalities such as becoming and consonance with the world and differences such as intention, timeliness, organism and subject position between the views of these two philosophers. Finally, there is an overview of the interaction of this embodied from the perspective of each philosopher with contemporary art.
For this purpose, the article first describes and analyzes these two definitions of the body and the characteristics of each in general, finally to achieve the changing position of the agent from subject to body, in the coordinates of life today and the experience of living (both) has caused the changed in the structure of contemporary art in the direction of fluidity and transmission of today's world with a focus on the physicality
Comparative Study of the Form and Shapes of Sassanid and Parthian Rhytons
There are two major Hellenic and Oriental tendencies in party art. In addition, the gradual transformation of Greek thought under the influence of the East can be discerned. Sassanid art is a sign of ethnic effort and taste, whose culture and art follow the Achaemenid and Parthian art. This art embodies the principles of Iranian aesthetics, which inherits the arts of early Asia. Making Rhyton is one of the most interesting and valuable examples of Iranian art and expresses the creative spirit and inherent genius of Iranians. Rhytons are animal drinking vessels, some with one mouth and some with two or more openings for liquids to enter and leave, used for drinking liquids at banquets, court ceremonies, and ceremonies. Drinking from such cups has symbolically meant the transfer of living vital force to man. By examining the achievements of the ancient Iranians, the possibility of recognizing and understanding their mental concepts as well as the type of social and cultural life of the societies of that time becomes clear to us. Based on this, it was decided to study the unique form, role and composition of a small number of Rhytons of the Parthian and Sassanid periods. The early Parthian rites were influenced by Greek and Hellenic culture, but gradually the national tendencies of the Iranian tribes emerged in them, while the early Sassanid rites were influenced by the Achaemenids, but the influence of Parthian and Roman art can’t be denied

Tall Buildings Preliminary Designing Criteria for Architects
Tall buildings, according to the progress of human societies are increasing dramatically in different parts of the world. The point that distinguish a high-rise building from the other ones is the prominent role of structure in the tower design. So, the structure in the design process and architectural final design not only heading its main task, means bearing and transmission forces, but also accepts other roles to cover other design criteria including aesthetics, energy and etc. The reason for combination of these roles is in a high-rise building due to the reduction of the weight of the building in order to bear lateral and gravity forces, structure must accepts multiple roles to reduce additional elements. In this paper, by studying effective measures in designing of tall buildings and identifying the characteristics of each one, suggestions are offered towards appropriate integration of these measures in order to design a high-rise building. These suggestions can help architects at the beginning of the way of designing a tower. In fact, considering these measures lead to create options that other design teams (like structural team) will not face the great problems in the rest of the way
Metaphorical Semiotics of the Elements of Creating Atmosphere of Persian Traditional Spaces in Ali Hatami's Cinema (Case Study: Love-Stricken Film)
As one of the arts of creating space as well as a tool for audiovisual representation, cinema can convey the intended concept and content by the built space. It has been tried in this study to analyze Ali Hatami’s Cinema to build space with identity for Iranian users. The research approach is qualitative and methodology is based on deductive reasoning with moving from theory to analysis on case study. The librarian studies have been used at the process of extraction of theoretical basis of reasoning and Love-stricken movie has been analyzed in this process using analytical-descriptive method. Results show that architectural language used in Hatami’s Cinema could be assumed including the following elements: The presence in open space of yard at houses and gardens, sitting on ground floor and highlighting Persian carpets in the plans, focusing on outlook inside rooms toward garden and linking among built space and natural atmosphere, presence of water pool and walking of characters beside water pools in Persian Garden, dark spaces that show spatial depth of traditional architecture, written language and literature and poetic-like expression, existing Persian music in scenario as well as contextual music may stimulate auditory perception of audience
The Impression of the Originality of Existence Philosophy Concepts in the Dramatic Literature with Emphasis on Three Plays (Nausea, Dirty Hands and the Satan and God)
Jean-Paul Sartre's point of view on the originality of existence philosophy is interleaved with concepts such as: freedom, apprehension, choice, awareness and human presence as well as everything that leading to man's liberation is reflected in his plays. Jean-Paul Sartre puts existence precede to the nature and considered the man as a potential free being that in the way of freedom he is responsible not only for himself but also for others. In the book of "Existence and Non-Existence" he is believes in deconstruction in all social and cultural fields. Sartre sees drama as a window for attitudinize the universe. The concept of existentialism in his plays is under the influence of philosophical and ideological propositions. Moral and political characteristics in the works of Jean-Paul Sartre expressed in such a way that describes a kind of worldview with philosophical propositions and dramatic, artful technique.
Therefore one of the questions in this article is how did Sartre's dramatic literature benefit from the philosophy of existentialism?
How does existence and non-existence appear in most of Sartre's plays? What does the concept of hell basically mean in his works? In this article, an attempt has been made to demonstrate how existence and non-existence and the critique of dialectical wisdom have been evaluated in his plays
Assessing Sustainable Local Identity in the Business Centers with an Emphasis on Biophilic Design (Case Study: Shiraz Enghelab Bazaar)
The innate tendency of humans towards nature has made them pay specific attention to this issue in different fields, and particularly architecture. This study was conducted to recognize common components of biophilic architecture and local architecture and analyze their impacts on helping designing something with sustainable local identity. As the local identity of an architectural work can play a key role in creating new works, emphasizing common components of local and biophilic design can help not only the sustainability of work but also the physical and mental health of individuals. In this applied research, research questions were answered using architectural design models in combination with biophilic design components affecting space localization. Data collection was done using the library method, field observations, and using a questionnaire. After analysis of the questionnaires, common components of local and biophilic architectures were introduced. Then, the data were measured in Shiraz Enghelab Bazaar as a sample business center the results showed that in terms of the effect of all common components of local and biophilic architecture on the local identity of a business center, three components including nature-environment harmony, natural facilities of the environment, and climatic conditions had the most effects on the sustainable local identity of a business center respectively
