No full textΗ παρούσα διδακτική ενότητα εστιάζει στην ανάλυση και τον σχολιασμό των κυριότερων σύγχρονων εξελίξεων και αλλαγών στο χώρο του τουριστικού μάρκετινγκ τόσο σε μικροοικονομικό όσο και σε μακροοικονομικό επίπεδο. Αρχικά παρουσιάζει τα εργαλεία και τα κανάλια διανομής που μπορούν οι τουριστικές επιχειρήσεις και οι προορισμοί να αξιοποιήσουν προκειμένου να προσεγγίσουν και να επικοινωνήσουν με τον πελάτη. Στη συνέχεια αναλύει τις ιδιαιτερότητες της προώθησης και της προβολής του προϊόντος που παράγουν και πωλούν οι τουριστικές επιχειρήσεις. Barrage formation is independent from heterokaryon incompatibility in Verticillium dahliae
Get PDFBarrage formation has been traditionally used for the assessment of mycelial compatibility in many fungi and has often been assumed to represent a non-self recognition phenotype that is directly associated with vegetative incompatibility in these organisms. In this work, the optimal growth conditions for large-scale studies of barrage formation in the asexual fungus Verticillium dahliae were determined, and they were used for the analysis of a diverse collection comprising 69 isolates of V. dahliae and related species. Barrage formation was very frequent on a defined complete agar medium within V. dahliae and between species of the genus. However, it was not correlated with the classification of V. dahliae isolates into Vegetative Compatibility Groups (VCGs) (based on the standard method using complementary nit mutants), as it was recorded at high frequencies both within and between V. dahliae VCGs. The high overall frequency of barrage formation demonstrated the presence of a higher level of mycelial incompatibility in V. dahliae than heterokaryon incompatibility assessed by forcing complementary nit mutants to form heterokaryons under selective conditions. The possible association of barrage formation with morphological characteristics of the fungal colonies was investigated, and a negative correlation of frequency and intensity of barrages with the isolates’ capacity for pigment production was detected. Mining and Managing User-Generated Content and Preferences
Get PDFΙn this thesis, we present techniques to manage the results of expressive queries, such as skyline, and mine online content that has been generated by users. Given the numerous scenarios and applications where content mining can be applied, we focus, in particular, to two cases: review mining and social media analysis. More specifically, we focus on preference queries, where users can query a set of items, each associated with an attribute set. For each of the attributes, users can specify their preference on whether to minimize or maximize it, e.g., "minimize price", "maximize performance", etc. Such queries are also know as "pareto optimal", or "skyline queries". A drawback of this query type is that the result may become too large for the user to inspect manually. We propose an approach that addresses this issue, by selecting a set of diverse skyline results. We provide a formal definition of skyline diversification and present efficient techniques to return such a set of points. The result can then be ranked according to established quality criteria. We also propose an alternative scheme for ranking skyline results, following an information retrieval approach
