Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai dampak keterampilan membaca terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan masalah matematika. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi meta-analisis, di mana kami melakukan analisis sistematis dan meta-analisis terhadap sejumlah penelitian yang menyelidiki hubungan antara pemahaman bacaan dan kemampuan dalam menyelesaikan pertanyaan cerita matematika. Data yang kami gunakan berasal dari berbagai sumber penelitian yang dipublikasikan dalam jurnal dan tersedia dalam database online Google Scholar.AbstractThe ability of students to comprehend reading materials is indicative of a correlation, wherein the better students are at comprehending readings, the higher their learning achievement is likely to be. This research aims to examine the influence of reading skills on students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This study employs a meta-analytical approach, conducting a systematic review and meta-analysis of various studies addressing the independent variable, which is the relationship between reading comprehension skills and the ability to solve mathematical word problems. ANALYSIS OF STUDENT NUMERACY LITERACY IN SOLVING PISA QUESTIONS
Get PDFThis study aims to describe the process of student numeracy literacy in solving PISA questions. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in the study were two people from 34 students of 9th grade B MTs N Ambon as participants, with data acquisition including observations, interviews, and numeracy literacy ability tests from PISA questions. Data analysis techniques use data classification, data reduction, data presentation, data interpretation, and conclusions. The results of this study show that: 1) both students have the ability of the main competencies in numeracy literacy, namely capable; of communicating problems, making mathematical models, making representations, arguing and giving appropriate reasons in accountability for their work, making good and correct solving strategies, use formal language, symbol language and technical language and use mathematical tools to facilitate their work. 2) There are differences in the solution of the two students, namely in solving problem number one, there are students who make mathematical modeling with the basic formula of comparison and there are students who make mathematical modeling with the opposite of the basic formula of comparison, namely multiplication

Get PDFThe PhET (Physics and Education Technology) virtual laboratory is an interactive medium of science with the help of computer applications that contains simulations of natural science experiments. The purpose of this activity is to increase the interest and motivation in learning science for elementary school (SD) students and to enrich the knowledge and skills of teachers and students in using science learning media through virtual PhET simulations. This activity was attended by 40 students using lecture methods, discussions, practical applications of PhET interactive simulations. This media is very effective for the childhood because through by the picture they can easily to understand and memorize the vocabulary in English. Flash card is the media that very helpful in remembering and reviewing material such as foreign language, symbol, formulation and others. Through this activity, the students will be able to listen to what teacher say through the picture, write to what is the students hear and seen, and the students be able to memorize was has been written. Struktur Komunitas dan Analisis Nilai Tutupan Lamun di Pulau Pramuka dan Pulau Karya, Kabupaten Administratif Kepulauan Seribu
No full textTaman Nasional Kepulauan Seribu, merupakan kawasan konservasi perairan laut yang memiliki keunikan ekosistem kepulauan kecil serta perairan laut dangkal. Ekosistem padang lamun menjadi salah satu ekosistem sumber daya alam yang berada di wilayah perairan dangkal dan memiliki segudang manfaat bagi biota yang terkait dengan lingkungan sekitar. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui nilai tutupan lamun dan struktur komunitas ekosistem lamun di Pulau Pramuka dan Pulau Karya. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Juli 2023 di pantai tenggara Pulau Karya dan pantai timur Pulau Pramuka. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif deskriptif. Pendataan jenis dan nilai tutupan lamun menggunakan metode line transect quadran. Pendataan dilakukan dengan menentukan titik dan garis transek sepanjang 50 m kearah laut. Pengambilan data lamun menggunakan frame quadran berukuran 100 x 100 cm2 dibagi menjadi 4 kisi yang diletakkan pada sisi kiri garis dan jarak antar kuadran 5 m, dengan total kuadran berjumlah 11. Jenis lamun yang ditemui pada stasiun pengamatan pantai bagian tenggara Pulau Karya homogen satu jenis yaitu Thalassia hemprichii. Sedangkan jenis lamun yang ditemui pada stasiun pengamatan pantai bagian timur Pulau Pramuka berjumlah empat jenis; Enhalus acoroides, Thalassia hemprichii, Halodule ovalis, dan Cymodocea rotundata. Nilai tutupan lamun pada stasiun pengamatan pantai tenggara Pulau karya diperoleh sebesar 22,16±8,72 menunjukkan kategori jarang. Sedangkan nilai tutupan lamun di stasiun pengamatan di pantai timur Pulau Pramuka adalah 80,49±8,81, menunjukkan kategori sangat padat
