Mothers in Some Short Stories of Elizabeth Gaskell
Get PDFP(論文)The purpose of this paper is to obeserve Elizabeth Gaskell's images of her ideal mother focusing on fourof her short stories. In Bessy's Trouble at Home, Gaskll described the figure of mothers in families dominatd by paternity,which is common in the Victorian era. She created Hand and Heart, with her own views of education infamilies. In Lizzie Leigh, she wrote each form of motherhood of three women : Lizzie, Mrs Leigh, andSusan. She opposed the convicton of the Victorian era--fallen women cannot do otherwise than die--byrestoring the heroine Lizzie, a 'fallen woman'. Although she looses her baby, she manages to come back tothe society after the struggling days. Through The Moorland Cottage, Gaskell made an assertion that onecannot learn the ethics without exchanging true love deeply rooted to motherhood with his or her family.departmental bulletin pape
The Ancrene Wisse 4. Temptation - 'Uttre temptatiun' : An Essay on Speech, Rhetoric and Composition of his Preaching (4th Series)
Get PDFP(論文)The author, 'I' intends, in this paper, to analige and describe a preacher's way of his sermon with specialreference to his speech, rhetoric and composition in the fourth chapter of the Ancrene Wisse through myown reading of the text according to my hitherto scheme of research of the work. I have already written three papers on the same theme in the Journal of Kinki Welfare University. This present paper is, therefore, done as the same successive one of them as the preceeding ones. Its composition is roughly divided into two parts whose early one from pp.101 : 18 to 108 : 7 chieflydealing with the theme on the Deadly Seven Sins in detail, especially, referring more, firstly, to 'Pe liun ofprude', namely, 'The lion of pride' and lastly, to 'Pe scorpiun of leccherie', namely, 'The Scorpion of lewdand lust.' The latter one is written, firstly, from pp.108 : 8 to 112 : 24 on such sins, and their master andhow they serve to him in the fiend's court, and secondly from pp.112 : 25 to 114 : 2 on how a nun shouldendure and so much be 'hardened' that she could overcome all the pains before she can get to the happinessof the heavens. and lastly, on two divisins of the temptation one of which is named 'outer' one, and theother. 'inner.' Besides they are each dealed into two ; 'light' and 'dark' ones, the latter of which thepreacher gives more fuller accounts than the other for the reason that 'My foe waits me with treachey.'implying 'this temptation allures not fleshly but spiritually.departmental bulletin pape
Multielement Determination Method of Trace Elements of Daily Foods with Coprecipitation and Effects of Phosphorus Elimination.
Get PDFP(論文)In order to carry out multielement determiation method of ten trace elements (Pb, Cd, Sn, Sb, Bi, Be,As, Se, Cr and Ge) in total diet samples by the polarized Zeeman atomic absorption spectrometry, the mostsuitable condition of ashing temprature, atomization temperature was dicided and effects of phosphoruselimination from total diet samples on copreecipitation were studied. The most suitable condition of ashing and atomization temperature was 500℃, 600℃, for Pb and Cd;600℃, 2200℃ for Sn, Sb and Bi ; 400℃, 2700℃ for Be, As and Se ; 800℃, 2800℃ for Cr and Ge,respetively. The most effective preconcentration of each element was the coprecipitation method with addinghydroxide zirconium as 10mg of zirconium at pH 9.5. The effects of the phosphorus elimination from total diet samples on recovery rates of trace elementswere compared among three preconcentration methods, which were non phosphoras elimination, hydroxidezirconium and ammonium molybdenic acid coprecipitation method. Recovery rates of Pb, Cd, Bi and Bewere no effects of phosphorus relimination. Recovery rates of Cr and Ge in hydrooxide zirconiumcoprecipitation method, and those of Sn, Sb, As, Se and Cr in ammonium molybdenic acid coprecipitationmethod clearly increased.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFP(論文)まず筆者はオルテガの哲学・政治思想の変遷過程の分類を考察する。フェラテール・モーラはオルテガの哲学思想を(1)客観主義、(2)遠近法主義、(3)歴史主義を伴った生・理性主義に区分し、またセペータ・カルサーダは彼の政治思想を(1)社会主義、(2)自由主義、(3)教条的自由主義、(4)自由主義への幻滅、(5)保守主義に区分する。さらに筆者はゴライスの研究に基づき、(1)統治者と被統治者という対極的存在、(2)選ばれた少数者の最高価値など四つの社会的基礎事実を前提にして、少数者、大衆、大衆的知識人をめぐって著名なオルテガの大衆社会論を検討する。少数者の特徴については(1)リベラル、(2)個人主義者など六点が、また大衆人の特徴として(1)努力なしの欲望達成、(2)歴史的過去に対する忘恩など七点が、大衆的知識人の特徴として(1)伝統の欠如、(2)真正さの欠如など六点が挙げられる。最後に日本の政治状況を鑑み大衆社会状況を解明し、ポストモダンの将来を見通そうとする。First of all, in this paper, I try to study the classifications of the transitional processes of the philosophical and political thoughts of Ortega y Gasset. Ferrater Mora devides the philosophical thought of Ortega in three stages : objectivism, perpectivism, raciovialism with historicism. As for his political thought, Cepeda Calzada eatablishes the five phases : socialism, liberalism, dogmatic liberalism, disillusionment with liberalism, conservatism. Moreover, referring to the opinion of Gorraiz, I investigate Ortega's famous theory of mass society about the concepts of minorities, masses and popular intellectuals, on the assumption of the four basic social facts : The existence of the governors and the governed, The selected minority as the most valuable element, etc. The 6 characteristics of the minority-man are given, Liberal and Individualist for instance, the 7 features on the mass-man like Attaining his vital desires without efforts and His ingratitude about historical past, etc., and the 6 added characteristics as to the popular intellectual, for example, Absence of tradition and Absence of authenticity, etc. And takig the japanese political situations into consideration, I try to clarify the conditions of mass society and to see far ahead into the postmodern future in Japan.departmental bulletin pape
Screening of Emotional Disturbances for Lowteens who Were Commited to a Juvenile Classification Office by the Simplified Medical Index-health Questionnaire
Get PDFP(論文)At the present time the frequency of juvenile delinquency has reached a third peak in Japan. Lowteen delinquents have increased in number and a large number of juvenile criminal offences have been committed by junior high school children. Thirty five lowteens (from 14 to 15 years of age), who were committed to a Juvenile Classification Office (21 boys and 14 girls from 14 to 15 years of age), and the same number of control children, who were matched by sex age, were investigated by a Simplified Medical Inde-health Questionnaire for screening maladjusted children at Junior High School. The numbers of items in which the delinquency group showed higher rates of "yes" responses than the control group were 7 for boys and 10 for girls in physical symptoms, and 12 for boys and 7 for girls in mental symptoms. The delinquency group has kept a high state of anxiety and tension, and complained a large number of items on M section (maladjustment), O section (anxiety) , Q sction (anger), and R section (tension). Many complaints caused by disturbances of autonomic function were found in the female delinquency group. The delinquency group manifested many complains and remarkably large TYR (total yes responses). Regarding the distrubution of four types of "the extent of complains" i.e. emotional disturbances, type I and II were more frequent in the control group than in the delinquency group, and type III and IV were more frequent in the delinquency group than in the control group. The Simplified Medical Index-health Questionnaire is very useful to screen emotional disturbances of lowteens.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFP(論文)The aim of this present paper is to describe how the author deals with the Seven Deadly Sins in the above title, especially, from the view point of the inner sins on inner temptations whose strength is too great and effective and cunning to find their attack without delay, comparing them with the outer ones treated in the same preceding papers as this. The ways in which the author deals with them are fairly possible to understand through reading the text repeatedly and carefully, with the help of the dictionaries of which is The Middle English Dictionary pubulished, since 1956, in the University of Michigan Press most useful and available. The author argues the inner temptations, chiefly composed of the rhetorical and colloquial expressions, 'Pe liun of prude', 'Pe neddre of attri onde', for example. The parts treated in this paper contain lots of difficult sentences in sense and syntactically, above all in word meaning in the textual contexts and a number of words which are already obsolete or archaic.departmental bulletin pape
Aiming at the Expansion of the Employment Support System for Persons with Disabilities
Get PDFP(論文)Within the past 30 years, the Employment Promotion and Vocational Rehabilitation Scheme for Persons with Disabilities has been strengthened. However amendments covering the employment situation of the severely distabled has been sufficient, in both quantity as well as quality. To address this matter, in April 2001, the Industry and Labour of Hyogo Prefecture established the "Employment Support Network Examination Committee for Person with Distablities" (chairperson, Profesor Shusaku Yasui of Kinki Welfare University), and proposed new policies for them in March 2002. The proposed points, based upon the viewpoint of "supported employment" introduced in the U.S., are : 1. Persons with disabilities requiring on-going and follow-along support in both work and dairy living levels, 2. Concerning this support, an Employment Support Network at prefectural and 10 local area levels should be established under close cooperation with related organizations. For these networks to function well, the vocational rehabilitation laws (which define occupational restrictions and difficulties of persons with disabilities ; the process of vocational rehabilitation ; professionals involved in these processes and so on) should be newly enforced, as well as labour related laws and ordinances should be applied to persons with disabi;ities who are working in sheltered employment as soon as possible.departmental bulletin pape
