Get PDFP(論文)Since the clinical report of erythrophobia by Morita, a great number of psychiatrists aswell as psychologists have focused their attention on anthropophobia named taijin-kyoufushoin Japan. This syndrome is a culturally distinct phobia in japan and included in the officialJapanese diagnostic system for mental disorders. Its symptom is characterized as an individual'sintense fear or shame that his or her appearance, facial expression, eyeshot, or odor shoulddisplease, embarrass, or be offensive to other people. In this paper, I first presented thedefinition of taijin-kyoufusho and then its classification proposed by several researchers. Evolution of Historical Reason on the Thought of J.Ortega y Gasset - Vital Reason and Historical Reason -
Get PDFP(論文)The spanish philosopher, J.Ortega y Gasset is very famous as one that advocated thephilosophy of vital reason, and later that of historical reason. His accomplishment, therefore,seems to cast us a new issue of the relationship between vital reason and historical one.First of all in this paper, I try to follow the development of Ortega's thought from vitalreason to historical one: his youth, the first stage of his zenith, the second stage of his zenithand his exile, according to Gaos's opinion. Then, I study contents of historical sense, vitalreason and historical reason. Ortega's historical sense relates to his perspectivism and hisunderstanding of others. His vital reason has many features of drama, problem, beliefs,occurrence, present participle, lacking being, self-formation, self-determination, self-cause,vital program, compulsory freedom, non-Eleatic being, unlimited possibility, inconsistentbeing, entity (substance) of changing, and God of ocasion, etc. Evolving from this vitalreason, the characteristics of his historical reason led to experiences of life,pubic opinionsor customs, going on being, living being, talking or narrating, happenings, vital program,dialectic continuity of experiences, real dialectic, human possession of not nature but history,progressive accumulation of beings, history as sistem, system of human experiences, and thepast as my human life, etc. From Ortega's point of view, the only thing human beingspossess and rely on is the past or history. Admission of juveniles on a Home for juvenile Traning and Education (formerly kyougo-in) to high school
Get PDFP(論文)On June 21, 1989, an executive summary entitled"Expansion of the Special Education Feeto Homes for Education and Training of Juvenile Delinquents" was presented by theEducation Department of the Ministry of Health and Welfare (now Ministry of Health, Labour,and Welfare) at the National Meeting of the Heads of Juvenile Counseling Institutions.According to this report, although Homes for Education and Training of Juvenile Delinquentswere applicable to juveniles under the age of 18 as child welfare facilities, some homes didnot accept juveniles after the 3rd year of junior high school, or else expelled all studentsequally upon graduation from the 3rd year of junior high school regardless of the juvenile'sstate of reform. This was a problem that needed to be addressed urgently. Changes weremade such that, in the event that a juvenile wished to attend high school or equivalentschooling, assistance was provided to the juvenile to this end. In the event that it was stillparticularly difficult for the juvenile to leave the home to attend high school, the juvenilewould be able to remain the home and attend high school. The cost of this is the sameas for a foster home, with the payment of a special education fee. The point of this reportis that Shiga prefecture had already independently introduced a system for juveniles to attendhigh school, and there are a number of cases of juveniles attending high school from anumber of Homes for Education and Training of Juvenile Delinquents, demonstrating theeffect on the self-reliance of the juveniles. The Effect of Active Rest on the Working Speed of Mental Arithmetic
Get PDFP(論文)The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of active rest on the speed atwhich mental arithmetic can be performed. A mental arithmetic board similar to the Uchida-Kraepelin psychodiagnostic test was used for this study. Three groups were compared to determine the effect on working speed. (I) Group 1 wasthe passive rest group. After performing an initial mental addition (pre-test), the participantsin this group took 5 minutes rest whereby they closed their eyes and remained quiet andimmediately after, they did the mental addition (post-test). (II) Group 2 was the active restgroup. After performinig an initial mental addition (pre-test), the participants in this groupperformed tapped with the right hands for three minutes and immediately after they did themental addition (post-test). (III) Group 3 was active rest plus passive rest group. Afterperforming an initial mental addition (pre-test), the participants in this group performedtapped with the right hands for three minutes. After that, they took 2 minutes rest andimmediately after, they did the mental addition (post-test). The result showed that the rest effects to perform mental addition was the highest ingroup 3, followed by group 1 and finally group 2. This result of the rest effects was investigated to determine the interaction betweenlearning effects and mental fatigue.departmental bulletin pape

Get PDFP(論文)Supporting Independence to Persons with Disabilities Law, wholly implemented in October2006, is exerting a serious influence on daily life of Persons with Disabilities. Especially, two influences must not be neglected. There are "a problem of a supportingterm artificially established by law", and "a problem of a revenue source". And now, allof many problems including there two are more serious for community life of not onlypersons with disabilities, but also all citizens. To solve these problems, informal resources in each community are indispensable inaddition to formal support. But community welfare in Japan is faced with a shortage of innerregulation principle to drive forward. An Independence Support Conference to Persons with Disabilities, althought it is holdingremarkable difference of municipalities' temperature as of today, will be a bridgehead to finda way out of these difficulies. Various approaches by this Conference will be most effecive to break down a feeling of ablockade in welfare for persons with disabilities, and to aim at subimation to communitywelfare in a true meaning.departmental bulletin pape
A Study of the Regional History of Harima and the Life of Kameyama Unpei

It is important for Japanese to recognize how their ancestors struggledthrough their lives to survive and leave their spiritual and material wealth to our generation. Many researchers have thus aptly pointed out that learning regional history will be one ofthe solutions to Japan's problems. In the regional history of Harima, Kameyama Unpei playeda very important role. He worked to build the foundation of Japan as well as Harima from theend of Edo to the Meiji era. He was one of the most influential men in Harima. We'd like to recognize his achievements, and also introduce his post cards found in theresidence of Nakasima Hisakichi, Shikama Himeji. Resting Energy Expenditure and Nutritional status of Wheelchair Athletes
Get PDFP(論文)The purpose of this study was to measure the resting energy expenditure (REE) ofwheelchair athletes and grasp their nutrient intake for the promotion of their health.Seventeen male wheelchair athletes, aged 24-63 years, participated in this research assubjects. The surveys of physical status and food intake frequency by their self-report wereconducted. The measurement of % body fat, mid-arm circumference, and REE was alsotaken. Their BMI and % body fat were almost in the appropriate range, and their mid-armcircumference was bigger than that of Japanese anthropometric reference data. The meanREE was 1,921±438 kcal/day about the subjects aged < 31 yaers (n=6), 1,619±228 kcal/day aged 41-50 years (n=3), 1,699±307 kcal/day aged 51-60 years (n=6), and 1,142 kcal/day aged 61 years (n=2), respectively. The REE and REE/Body weight (BW) weresimilar to each of those about ordinary persons. A positive correlation was observed betweenREE and height as well as BW. The energy and nutrient intakes were rather low,corresponding to each of those at physical activity level I (low) of healthy persons.Considering their appropriate body composition, however, the subjects were not judged in asort of light malnutrition, and their energy intake was considered to meet their requirement.There results suggested that individual nutritional guidance by a well-coordinated system,depending upon the degree of disability, energy expenditure and food intake, is necessary inorder to improve the competence for running and the QOL of wheelchair athletes.departmental bulletin pape
