    IMPLEMENTASI PROGRAM BUILDING LEARNING POWER (BLP) DALAM MEMBENTUK KARAKTER DISIPLIN SISWA SMP CAHAYA QURAN ISLAMIC BOARDING SCHOOL (IBS)

    Pendidikan karakter merupakan aspek penting dalam membentuk pribadi peserta didik yang bertanggung jawab, jujur, dan disiplin. Karakter disiplin sangat diperlukan untuk membangun generasi yang taat aturan, mampu mengelola waktu, serta konsisten dalam perilaku sehari-hari. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut, SMP Cahaya Quran Islamic Boarding School (IBS) menerapkan program Building Learning Power (BLP), yaitu sebuah pendekatan pendidikan yang dikembangkan oleh Guy Claxton yang berfokus pada lima komponen pembentukan kapasitas belajar: Resilience, resourcefulness, reflectiveness, reciprocity, dan devoutness. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi program BLP di SMP Cahaya Quran IBS dan bagaimana program tersebut membentuk karakter disiplin siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi lapangan. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program BLP dilakukan secara sistematis melalui kegiatan harian seperti pengisian jurnal, ceklist aktivitas, serta sesi cerita inspiratif. Program ini berdampak positif terhadap pembentukan kedisiplinan siswa, baik dari segi tanggung jawab pribadi, keteraturan belajar, maupun kepatuhan terhadap aturan sekolah. Faktor pendukung pelaksanaan BLP antara lain keterlibatan guru, dukungan manajemen sekolah, dan antusiasme siswa. Adapun hambatan yang dihadapi berupa keterbatasan waktu pelaksanaan dan belum meratanya pemahaman awal siswa terhadap konsep BLP.       Decentralization, both asymmetrical and symmetrical, in Indonesia will continue to be a serious concern for the study of politics and government. Indonesia has distinctive characteristics that make a study of the pattern of relations between the center and the regions always trying to find a more ideal format. The third characteristic is geographical distribution, demographic distribution and economic distribution centered on Java (economics even based in Jakarta). The agreement made by Indonesia in the form of a unit made the pull relationship between the center and the regions filled with political and economic considerations. The granting of special autonomy to Aceh and Papua, which accompanies long separation from Indonesia shows the complexity of the problems of relations between the center and the regions

    Fostering EFL Students’ Academic Literacy: Students' Perception Using Elicit AI

    Elicit AI is an artificial intelligence–powered research assistant designed to help users locate, evaluate, and synthesize scholarly sources efficiently. As the use of AI tools in higher education continues to expand, there remains limited empirical research on how such tools are perceived and utilized by English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students, particularly in supporting academic literacy skills such as sourcing and managing references for thesis writing. Addressing this gap, the present study examines English Education students’ perceptions of Elicit AI as a tool for enhancing academic literacy. Using a mixed-method design, data were collected from 21 sixth-semester students through questionnaires and interviews. Results show that 75% of students perceive Elicit AI as useful, 82% find its feedback effective, and 67% report an increase in motivation and engagement. While descriptive data suggest gender neutrality, One-Way ANOVA reveals a significant difference between male and female students. These findings highlight Elicit AI’s potential to foster academic literacy and engagement in EFL contexts. Limitations include the small sample size and reliance on self-reported data. Future research should investigate broader demographics and curriculum-level strategies for the equitable and ethical integration of AI in language education.     PENERAPAN PENDEKATAN DEEP LEARNING PADA PEMBELAJARAN PAI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA SMK NEGERI TENGARAN

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji penerapan pendekatan deep learning dalam pembelajaran PAI di SMK Negeri Tengaran sebagai upaya untuk mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pendekatan deep learning dalam pembelajaran PAI terdiri atas tiga tahapan utama, yakni perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Pada tahap perencanaan, guru berupaya mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip pedagogis modern seperti kolaboratif, kontekstual, dan reflektif terhadap nilai-nilai, melalui penerapan strategi pembelajaran diferensiasi yang disesuaikan dengan keragaman kemampuan siswa. Pada tahap pelaksanaan, terlihat adanya peningkatan dalam partisipasi aktif siswa, keberanian mengemukakan pendapat, serta kemampuan mengaitkan ajaran Islam dengan konteks kehidupan nyata. Adapun pada tahap evaluasi, guru menerapkan penilaian autentik yang meliputi tugas proyek, presentasi, serta penulisan jurnal reflektif, yang berfungsi menumbuhkan kemampuan analitis, evaluatif, dan moral siswa. Secara keseluruhan, penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan deep learning mampu memperkuat kemampuan berpikir kritis dan reflektif peserta didik, sekaligus menumbuhkan karakter islami serta kesadaran spiritual yang relevan dengan tantangan kehidupan modern

    Reducing Speaking Anxiety Through Community Language Learning (Cll): A Qualitative Inquiry Into Arabic Speaking Self-Efficacy at Mak al-Hikmah 2 Benda, Brebes

    His study investigates how Community Language Learning (CLL) enhances students’ Arabic-speaking self-efficacy at MAK Al Hikmah 2 Benda Brebes. It uses a qualitative descriptive design. Data were collected through classroom observations, semi-structured interviews, and student reflections. These methods explored both the challenges learners faced and the changes that occurred during the intervention. Findings reveal that students initially struggled with significant speaking anxiety, fear of making mistakes, and strong dependence on the teacher. When CLL was introduced, notable improvements appeared. Anxiety decreased, willingness to participate increased, peer collaboration strengthened, and autonomous speech developed gradually. These results align with Bandura’s self-efficacy theory and studies highlighting the value of humanistic learning frameworks. The study concludes that CLL is a promising approach for strengthening speaking confidence in Arabic classrooms.     This study aims to analyze the effect of using Blooket learning media and self-efficacy on Mahārah al-Qirā’ah of seventh-grade students at MTsN 2 Boalemo. The research problem arises from the low Arabic reading ability of students, which is caused by limited variety of learning media and low self-confidence of students in understanding Arabic texts. This study used a quantitative approach with an experimental method. The research subjects consisted of 58 students divided into an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through Mahārah al-Qirā’ah tests (pre-test and post-test) and self-efficacy questionnaires, then analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics through multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that there is an increase in Mahārah al-Qirā'ah ability in students who learn using Blooket media compared to students in the control class. Self-efficacy has been proven to have a significant effect on students' Arabic reading ability Arabic reading skills. In addition, the regression analysis results showed that the use of Blooket media and self-efficacy simultaneously had a significant effect on students' Mahārah al-Qirā'ah.     Inovasi Media Hijaiyah Letters Multisensori Game untuk Anak Usia Dini

    Early childhood is a golden age that plays a crucial role in shaping cognitive, language, social-emotional, and religious development. At this stage, children learn most effectively through direct experiences, play-based activities, and multisensory stimulation. However, the introduction of hijaiyah letters in early childhood education is still often dominated by conventional methods such as rote memorization and verbal repetition, which tend to be monotonous and less engaging for children. This study aims to develop the Hijaiyah Letters Multisensory Game as an innovative learning medium to introduce hijaiyah letters to early childhood learners. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach using a simplified 4D model, limited to the three stages of 3D (define, design, and develop). Data were collected through observation, interviews, and validation questionnaires. The developed media integrates visual, tactile, and kinesthetic activities through an educational game that encourages children to actively explore, arrange, and recognize hijaiyah letters. The results indicate that the Hijaiyah Letters Multisensory Game is feasible and practical as a learning medium and is able to stimulate multiple aspects of early childhood development, including cognitive, language, fine motor, social-emotional, and creativity aspects.     Strategi Guru PAI dalam Proses Pembelajaran untuk Membentuk Karakter Disiplin Siswa Kelas VII di MTs Nusantara Sukolilo

    This study aims to describe the strategies used by Islamic Religious Education teachers in the learning process to instill discipline in seventh-grade students at MTs Nusantara Sukolilo. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that Islamic Religious Education teachers apply five main strategies in forming students' disciplined character, namely: (1) habituation, such as performing congregational prayers, attending on time, and obeying school regulations; (2) role models, by consistently demonstrating disciplined behavior in daily life; (3) reward and punishment, through giving awards to disciplined students and educational punishment for those who break the rules; (4) supervision, in the form of teacher control over student behavior both inside and outside the classroom; and (5) motivation, through giving religious advice and encouragement so that students have an internal awareness to be disciplined. Supporting factors for implementing this strategy include sound lesson planning, school support, and parental involvement. Meanwhile, obstacles include negative peer influence, unsupportive family conditions, and low levels of discipline awareness among some students. Therefore, this study concludes that Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teacher strategies play a crucial role in developing students' disciplined character. However, for this strategy to be effective and sustainable, consistent teacher involvement and close collaboration between the school, parents, and the students' social environment are required

    Implementasi Metode Snowball Throwing untuk Meningkatkan Self Confidence Siswa pada Pelajaran SKI Kelas VIII MTs Tanwiriyah Kalisari Bojonegoro

    The low level of student self-confidence within the context of active learning remains a significant challenge in the current Indonesian education landscape. Based on various national education reports and psychological studies, it has been found that many students feel awkward, fear making mistakes, and lack confidence in their abilities when asked to perform or express opinions in class. This phenomenon indicates a need for learning methods that focus not only on cognition but also on fostering character growth, particularly self-confidence. This study aims to determine how the implementation of the Snowball Throwing-based cooperative learning method improves students' self-confidence in Islamic Cultural History (SKI) subjects, specifically focusing on: (1) belief in one's own abilities, and (2) courage in expressing opinions and taking responsibility. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects were the teacher and students of class VIII-2 at MTs Tanwiriyah Kalisari. The results show that the application of the Snowball Throwing method significantly enhances student self-confidence. Students became more certain of their abilities, more active in expressing opinions, and demonstrated the courage to make decisions and take responsibility during the learning process. These findings align with Lauster’s indicators of self-confidence, which emphasize the importance of self-expression, decision-making, and belief in personal competence. Furthermore, these results support Jean Piaget’s constructivism theory, where students actively build understanding through direct experience, social interaction, and reflection on the challenges they face

    Religious values are an aspect of human personality that cannot stand alone; they are related to other aspects of personality and must be instilled in children as early as possible so as not to hinder their future tasks and development. Religious abilities do not develop on their own; they are acquired through willpower and encouragement from others, including teachers and parents, who must set a good example and be role models. This study aims to describe the process of instilling religious values in shaping the good character of students at Sukodadi 1 State Senior High School. The background of this study is based on the phenomenon of moral decline among teenagers due to the influence of globalisation, as well as the importance of character education based on religious values. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that the activities carried out in instilling religious values include starting with the habit of smiling, greeting, and saying hello, the habit of Friday morning studies, the habit of praying together before starting lessons, the habit of being honest, the habit of being responsible, the habit of being disciplined, and the habit of praying.
