FINANCIAL GLOBALIZATION AND FINANCIAL SECTOR DEVELOPMENT IN NIGERIA
Get PDFFinancial globalisation requires serious consideration in an effort to stimulate financial development of any economy. Despite the governmental measures to improve financial globalisation, the sector still experiences low level of development in Nigeria. This study investigated the impact of financial globalization on financial sector development in Nigeria. Ex-post facto design was employed and annual data were obtained from the World Bank's Development Indicators and Global Financial Development Database from 1981 to 2023. Autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) method was used for data analysis. Financial globalisation index was found to have had positive effect on money market development both in the short-run (=0.153; p<0.01) and long run(=0.349;p<0.01). A positive effect was also reported for capital market development, but only in the long run (=6.217; p<0.01). The study concluded that financial globalization levels are low in Nigeria and there has been little improvement in its levels over the period. The study recommended that the Nigerian authority should direct policy attention to promoting increased globalization of the financial sector through further deregulation of its activities and removal of restrictions on actors in this sector
EFFECT OF MICRO-ENTREPRENEURSHIP ON HOUSEHOLD POVERTY LEVEL: EVIDENCE FROM NIGERIA
Get PDFNigeria's high rates of poverty, unemployment, and poor income continue to be a major cause of worry. Despite the implementation of various entrepreneurial efforts by government and non-governmental organizations, income remains low, which is exacerbated by the country's high percentage of young unemployment. While previous research has looked at the function of entrepreneurship in raising welfare and boosting shared prosperity, the intervening role of income in these relationships has gotten less attention, especially in the context of primary data analysis. This prompted this study to examine the impact of micro-entrepreneurship on income generation in the Ilorin, as a case study. During the investigation, data was collected at random from 430 entrepreneurs. Using cross-tabulation and the chi-square statistic. The researchers discovered a positive but inconsequential relationship between micro-entrepreneurship and revenue production. This may be explained by the fact that 42% of the 291 entrepreneurs that are regarded innovators have a modest income. The findings of this research show that when the government provides appropriate financing to stimulate entrepreneurship and the inventive spirit, it generates more income and helps to reduce poverty. The study provides data to corroborate the literature, emphasizing the favorable impact of appropriate entrepreneurial funding on revenue growth. It was shown that most of the entrepreneurs surveyed focused on the issue of insufficient funding. This has constrained entrepreneurs' creativity and innovation, forcing them to operate on a small scale with minimal profits

No full textThis research aims to analyze the structure of compound sentences in digital news articles related to political events of the President of South Korea, Yoon Suk Yeol, published on CNBC Indonesia. The main focus of the research is to identify the types of compound sentences used in news reports, with an emphasis on analyzing compound sentences using the theory of compound sentence syntax. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with data collection techniques through literature study and document analysis. The data used comes from sentences in the news that discuss current political issues related to President Yoon, such as martial law and impeachment. In this analysis, special attention is paid to sentences that use subordinate clauses, conjunctions, and compound sentence structures that describe cause-and-effect relationships, time, and political context. This concept of compound sentences is used to understand the relationship between clauses in the reported political context. The research results show that multilevel and mixed compound sentences have an important role in conveying complex and layered information, which is often needed in news reports about political events. In addition, the subordinate clauses in these sentences help clarify the relationship between events and their impact on society and government. Through this analysis, it can be understood how sentence structures in digital news support readers' understanding of ongoing political events, as well as exploring the language techniques used to strengthen messages in news reports

Novels, especially Dutch East Indies literature, depict the long history of Dutch colonization in Indonesia. Dutch East Indies literature is simply Dutch-language literature that talks about the Dutch East Indies at the time. The book Permulaan Sebuah Musim Baru di Suriname tells the story of Werk, an often dishonest job seeker who often recruits contract workers. In addition, they also often use mysticism and the occult to participate in the selection process. Prospective workers are often attracted by grandiose promises. Groups of workers also come from India and China. This is a very colorful part of Surinamese society. The researcher uses a social approach to investigate the novel whether there is no effort in life resistance. The researcher used a sociological approach to observe that even though the community already knew what was happening abroad, they did not make an initial protest. In this study, qualitative descriptive analysis was used to provide detailed explanations, including quotes and data relating to the subject matter of the novel.

Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan sosial untuk menyelidiki novel tersebut apakah tidak adanya upaya dalam resistensi hidup. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan sosiologis untuk mengamati bahwa meskipun masyarakat sudah mengetahui apa yang terjadi di luar negeri, mereka tidak melakukan protes awal. Dalam penelitian ini, analisis deskriptif kualitatif digunakan untuk memberikan penjelasan rinci, termasuk kutipan dan data yang berkaitan dengan subjek materi novel.

THE INFLUENCE OF PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE AND WORD OF MOUTH ON THE DECISION TO BECOME A MEMBER OF BMT AL-ISHLAH JAMBI CITY

Indonesia is a country where the majority of the population is Islamic, therefore the birth of the micro-shariah financial institutions can be a solution to the development of the shariah banking that is still centralized to the middle up society. This research aims to identify and analyze the impact of product knowledge and word of mouth on membership decisions. The respondents used in this study are members of BMT Al-Ishlah Jambi City. The method used in this research is the quantitative method. The data was collected through a questionnaire using the likert scale, then the number of samples used was 85 respondents. The analytical technique used is double linear regression analysis. Partial and simultaneous test results of testing the product knowledge (X1) and word of mouth (X2) variables partially and simultaneously show that there is a significant influence on the decision to become a member (Y), and variable X has an influence of 39,5% on variable Y.

Fenomena ini menuntut adanya adaptasi agar pendidikan Islam tetap relevan tanpa kehilangan identitas keislaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan menjelajahi nilai-nilai tradisional dengan tuntutan zaman modern, seperti penerapan teknologi dalam pembelajaran yang tetap sejalan dengan prinsip agama. Pendekatan ini memungkinkan terciptanya harmoni antara ajaran Islam dengan nilai-nilai universal seperti toleransi dan pluralisme, yang semakin diperlukan dalam konteks globalisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif berbasis library research atau studi pustaka. Dalam proses pengumpulan data, penulis mengambil dari beberapa dokumen tertulis yang relevan dengan kajian materi baik berupa cetak maupun digital seperti buku, jurnal. Bahwa, kemajuan teknologi dan media sosial menjadi tantangan baru bagi pemahaman agama generasi muda. Akses yang tidak terkontrol terhadap informasi dapat mengakibatkan pemahaman agama yang dangkal dan terdistorsi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan peran kolaboratif dari pendidik, orang tua, dan masyarakat dalam memberikan pendampingan intensif serta pengawasan terhadap penggunaan teknologi.
Penelitian ini merekomendasikan integrasi nilai-nilai Islam dengan mata pelajaran modern seperti sains, teknologi, dan humaniora untuk menciptakan generasi yang kompeten secara akademis sekaligus berpegang teguh pada prinsip keislaman. Selain itu, keterlibatan para ahli dalam pendidikan Islam menjadi kunci dalam merancang kurikulum yang relevan dengan kebutuhan global tanpa mengorbankan identitas agama

Get PDFThis study aims to examine the application of technology in the learning process of maharotul Istima' (listening ability) in students at Madrasah Diniyah which is under the auspices of the Ar-ridho Foundation. This research will explain in detail the steps of how technology is applied in the madrasah, as well as how it affects the improvement of students' listening skills. Thus, it is hoped that this research can provide insight into the effectiveness of the use of technology in supporting the learning process in madrasas, especially in improving students' maharotul Istima' abilities. In this study, a descriptive qualitative method is used by sorting them according to certain categories, describing the data obtained from interviews and observations. The results of this study show that the process of implementing technology in learning Mahārat al-Istimā' at Madrasah Diniyah Ar-Ridho involves needs analysis, provision of basic technology, infrastructure improvement, teacher training, integration of modern methods, annual evaluation and continuous adaptation. This allows for gradual and significant technological advancements, thus supporting effective listening learning
ANALISIS PENGGUNAAN ARTIFICIAL INTELEGENT (CHAT GPT) DALAM PEMBUATAN MODUL AJAR BAHASA ARAB BERBASIS KURIKULUM MERDEKA
Get PDF This research analyzes the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI), specifically ChatGPT, in the development of Arabic teaching modules based on the Merdeka Curriculum. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the extent to which ChatGPT can produce learning content that matches the unique characteristics of Arabic, including linguistic and cultural aspects. This research was conducted by creating teaching modules for seventh grade students using ChatGPT and analyzing their compliance with Merdeka Curriculum standards. The results show that ChatGPT is able to produce teaching modules with good structure and relevance, but there are still challenges related to accuracy and contextual appropriateness, especially in understanding Arabic grammar (nahwu and sharaf) and cultural aspects. Therefore, although AI can help teachers in lesson planning and preparation of teaching materials, further supervision and adjustments are needed to maintain the validity and relevance of the materials. The main finding of this study is the importance of human-AI collaboration in optimizing AI-generated materials. While ChatGPT provides efficiency in content generation, human intervention is essential for fine-tuning linguistic accuracy and cultural contextualization. This concept of collaboration supports the theory of Human-AI Collaborative Teaching Material Development, which emphasizes that AI serves as an auxiliary tool in structuring and systematizing teaching materials, while humans act as the author.
 
PEMBENTUKAN KARAKTER MELALUI DONGENG PADA ANAK USIA DINI

In this millennium era, storytelling activities are rarely done by parents to children because storytelling culture has been considered old-fashioned. Instead, children prefer to play games or cellphones rather than reading. Character building in early childhood has an important role in shaping personality and morals in the future. One effective and fun method in this process is through storytelling. This research method is literature study research and includes descriptive qualitative research. The data source of this research is data obtained from written sources using content analysis. The results of this study show that character building through fairy tales in early childhood is an effective and fun method to instill moral and ethical values. In the process of storytelling, the use of expression, voice intonation, and props can increase children's understanding of the moral message conveyed. This research also highlights strategies and techniques for delivering fairy tales that are appropriate to the stages of child development, ranging from toddler age to early elementary school. With a consistent and creative approach, fairy tales become an effective tool in shaping children's character as a whole.

Upaya Guru Meningkatkan Keaktifan Siswa dalam Pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SDN Mekanderejo 1
Get PDFPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya keaktifan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran yang merupakan aspek krusial dan hakiki yang perlu dipahami dan ditingkatkan oleh setiap pendidik. Keberhasilan dan mutu proses pembelajaran dapat diukur dari sejauh mana siswa terlibat secara aktif, baik secara fisik, mental, maupun sosial. Menurut E. Mulyasa, keberhasilan pembelajaran ditandai dengan keterlibatan siswa secara intelektual, emosional, dan fisik yang merupakan inti dari pembelajaran aktif. Siswa merupakan individu yang antusias dengan rasa ingin tahu yang tinggi. Apabila lingkungan belajar mampu mendukung perkembangan tersebut, maka potensi aktivitas alamiah siswa dapat berkembang secara positif. Penelitian di SDN Mekanderejo 1 Kabupaten Lamongan terungkap beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan siswa kurang aktif, terutama faktor internal seperti aspek psikologis, perhatian, dan pengamatan siswa. Beberapa upaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk meningkatkan keaktifan siswa antara lain dengan menggunakan upaya peningkatan minat belajar, antara lain dengan menggunakan berbagai metode, memberikan motivasi dan apresiasi kepada siswa
