    Trends and Challenges in Anomaly Intrusion Detection at the Edge for IoT: A Review

    The rapid proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices has brought about new security challenges, particularly in the area of intrusion detection. This review article provides a comprehensive analysis of the trends and challenges in anomaly intrusion detection at the edge for IoT. By synthesizing findings from recent literature (2021-2023), we explore various approaches to anomaly detection, including those based on machine learning (ML), deep learning (DL), statistical methods, and rule-based techniques. We also examine network attacks relevant to IoT, such as man-in-the-middle (MitM), replay, and injection attacks. Our findings reveal a growing trend towards the use of ML and DL for anomaly detection, with many studies focusing on hybrid approaches to improve detection accuracy. While edge computing offers advantages in terms of reduced latency and enhanced privacy, significant challenges remain in implementing anomaly detection on resource-constrained edge devices. These include the heterogeneity of devices and protocols, the increasing sophistication of cyberattacks, the limited availability of labeled data, and privacy concerns. This review identifies unresolved research gaps, including the need for more efficient algorithms, more adaptive approaches, methods for generating synthetic anomaly data, and large-scale implementations. Furthermore, this work discusses the practical implications for enhancing IoT security and provides guidance for researchers and practitioners in the field. We conclude that future efforts should emphasize the development of adaptive and efficient methods, particularly for real-time detection, and consider ethical aspects like data privacy in the deployment of anomaly detection at the edge

    The Baturraden legend, as an integral part of Indonesia's cultural heritage, contains moral and ethical teachings relevant to the values of religious moderation, such as national commitment, anti-violence, tolerance, and accommodation toward local cultures. The importance of instilling these values in the younger generation aims to shape inclusive and tolerant character. This research aims to identify and analyze the values of religious moderation within the Baturraden legend and explore opportunities for its implementation in literature education at the high school level. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with content and interpretative analysis of the narratives and characters within the legend. The results of the study indicate that the Baturraden legend contains values of religious moderation that can be utilized as teaching materials in the literature curriculum, enhancing students' understanding of cultural diversity and fostering inclusive and tolerant character.Legenda Baturraden sebagai bagian integral dari warisan budaya Indonesia, mengandung ajaran moral dan etika yang relevan dengan nilai-nilai moderasi beragama, seperti komitmen kebangsaan, anti-kekerasan, toleransi, dan akomodasi terhadap budaya lokal. Pentingnya penanaman nilai-nilai ini kepada generasi muda bertujuan untuk membentuk karakter yang inklusif dan toleran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis nilai-nilai moderasi beragama dalam legenda Baturraden serta peluang penerapannya dalam pembelajaran sastra di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA). Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan analisis isi dan interpretatif atas narasi dan karakter dalam legenda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa legenda Baturraden mengandung nilai-nilai moderasi beragama yang dapat dijadikan bahan ajar dalam kurikulum sastra dan dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap keberagaman budaya, serta membangun karakter yang inklusif dan toleran

    This research aims to describe the moral values in the movie Theeb by Naji Abu Nowar, which is set in World War I in the Middle East, during the Arab uprising against the Ottoman Empire. Arab revolt against the Ottoman Empire. The movie uses non-professional actors from the Bedouin community in southern Jordan. The story centers on Theeb, a young boy struggling to survive in the desert after his older brother Hussein after his older brother, Hussein, was shot dead by a tribe that was after their camel while traveling with British soldiers. while traveling with British soldiers. In this event, there are many moral values that can be learned. This research is a qualitative descriptive study this study is a qualitative descriptive study with the object of cut scenes in the movie. Analysis is done by classifying signs based on representamen, object, and interpretant. The results show various moral values such as knowledge, beliefs, arts, morals, laws, customs, abilities, and habits.Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai moral dalam film Theeb karya Naji Abu Nowar, yang berlatar Perang Dunia I di Timur Tengah, saat pemberontakan Arab terhadap Kekaisaran Ottoman. Film ini menggunakan aktor non-profesional dari komunitas Badui di Selatan Yordania. Kisahnya berpusat pada Theeb, seorang anak laki-laki yang berjuang bertahan hidup di gurun setelah kakaknya, Hussein, tewas ditembak oleh suku yang mengincar unta mereka saat perjalanan dengan tentara Inggris. Dalam peristiwa ini, terdapat banyak nilai moral yang bisa dipelajari. Penelitian ini merupakan studi deskriptif kualitatif dengan objek potongan adegan dalam film. Analisis dilakukan dengan mengklasifikasikan tanda berdasarkan representamen, objek, dan interpretan.     CULTURAL AND DIDACTIC ANALYSIS OF PHYSICS LEARNING: A STUDY OF THE GOOD PRACTICES OF EDUCATION IN INDONESIA AND EGYPT

    ABSTRACT This study aims to examine and compare the practice of cultural-based and didactic physics learning between Indonesia and Egypt. This study is motivated by the importance of understanding local contexts in science education and the need to identify cross-border good practices to improve the quality of physics learning. This study uses a qualitative approach of literature study, by analyzing 50 selected literatures of 25 from Indonesia and Egypt each which include educational policies, teaching strategies, and the role of culture in physics learning. The data is categorized and compared in two main aspects: cultural and didactic. The results of the study show that Indonesia stands out in the application of contextual learning based on locality and method flexibility, while Egypt excels in curriculum consistency and strengthening of basic concepts of physics. Good practices from both countries can complement each other in creating more meaningful and relevant physics learning. This study suggests the development of physics learning that considers a balance between cultural approaches and didactic strategies. These findings are expected to be the basis for the development of curricula and learning practices that are adaptive to the diversity of global educational contexts

    IMPLEMENTASI MODEL PJBL PADA MATERI BIOTEKNOLOGI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN LITERASI SAINS SISWA KELAS IX DI SMP NEGERI 4 JEMBER

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan literasi sains siswa pada materi bioteknologi menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan yaitu menggunakan lembar tes tulis terkait soal literasi sains. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis N-Gain. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX-A SMP Negeri 4 Jember berjumlah 32 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan sebanyak 24 siswa mendapat kategori  peningkatan  kemampuan literasi sains yang  tinggi  dan  8  siswa  mendapat kategori  peningkatan  yang  sedang dengan total siswa di kelas sebanyak  32 siswa. Berdasarkan  hasil  tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran model Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan literasi sains siswa pada materi Bioteknologi

    Interventionist, Non-Interventionist, or Interactionist: Investigating Teacher Beliefs and Classroom Management in Indonesian EFL Contexts

    Teachers’ beliefs about classroom management and pedagogical practices can generally be categorized into interventionist, non-interventionist, or interactionist approaches, which describe how teachers design learning environments, manage student behavior, and implement instructional strategies. This study investigates the relationship between teachers’ beliefs and pedagogical practices in Indonesian EFL Senior High Schools, focusing on their alignment and the factors shaping their decisions. This qualitative, multiple-case study explored the perspectives of two certified English teachers with differing levels of congruency between their stated beliefs and observed practices. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, analyzed thematically, and validated through peer reviews, expert validation, and member checking to ensure accuracy and reliability. Findings revealed five key factors influencing teachers’ pedagogical decisions: students’ academic competence, psychological well-being, future objectives, learning competence, and school-provided learning facilities. Results indicate that Teacher A initially held an interventionist belief but exhibited an interactionist teaching style due to classroom challenges that reshaped her perceptions. Conversely, Teacher B maintained a strong interventionist approach, making only minor adjustments based on student feedback and professional development experiences. Despite their differing levels of congruency, both teachers expressed satisfaction with their teaching practices. This study concludes that teacher effectiveness in Indonesian EFL classrooms depends more on adaptability and student needs than strict alignment between beliefs and practices. These findings contribute to the discourse on teacher belief systems, pedagogical adaptability, and classroom management strategies in EFL contexts, highlighting the dynamic nature of teachers' professional growth and instructional decision-making

    EKSPLORASI ETNOMATEMATIKA PADA TARI BRAMBANG DESA KUNIR DEMAK

    The aim of this research is to introduce the Brambang Dance culture to readers and explore the philosophical and mathematical values ​​contained in the Brambang Dance. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with an ethnographic approach. Data was obtained from the dance stylist and creator of the Brambang Dance. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews and documentation. Next, the data is analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results showed that in the Brambang Dance there is a mathematical learning concept in the form of angle geometry, namely sharp, right, obtuse and straight angles from the position of the dancer's hands. So it can be an alternative source and medium for learning mathematics, and can foster a sense of love for the country, respect and pride in Indonesian culture.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memperkenalkan budaya Tari Brambang kepada pembaca serta mengeksplorasi nilai filosofis dan nilai matematis yang ada di dalam Tari Brambang. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan etnografi. Data diperoleh dari penata tari sekaligus pencipta Tari Brambang. Teknik pengumpulan data secara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Selanjutnya data tersebut dianalisis dengan reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa pada Tari Brambang terdapat konsep pembelajaran matematika berupa geometri sudut yaitu sudut lancip, siku-siku, tumpul dan lurus dari posisi tangan sang penari. Sehingga dapat menjadi alternatif sumber dan media pembelajaran matematika, serta dapat menumbuhkan rasa cinta tanah air, menghargai dan bangga akan budaya Indonesia

    PENGARUH MODEL CONNECTED MATHEMATICS PROJECT (CMP) PADA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN KONEKSI MATEMATIS SISWA KELAS IX DI MTS DARUL FALAH SALO

    This research is motivated by the low mathematical connection ability of students and the learning models used by teachers have not been varied. Therefore, the researcher tried to apply the CMP learning model. The purpose of this researcher is to determine whether or not there is an influence of CMP learning model and the mathematical connection ability of students at MTs. This research is a Quasi Experimental study using a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all grade IX students of MTs Darul Falalah Salo, while the sample in this study consisted of two classes, where class IX A was the experimental class and class IX B was the control class. Based on the results of data analysis, the average for the experimental class was 81.20 while the control class was 65.20. Judging from the results of the hypothesis test, t count = 7,490 was obtained with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05 so that H0 was rejected and H1 was accepted so that it was concluded that there was a significant influence on the mathematical connection ability of students who learned using the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) learning model with students who learned using conventional learning in class IX MTs Darul Falah Salo.Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi rendahnya kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dan model pembelajaran yang digunakan guru belum bervariasi. Oleh sebab itu, peneliti mencoba menerapkan model pembelajaran CMP. Tujuan peneliti ini adalah untuk mengetahui ada atau tidaknya pengaruh model CMP terhadap kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik di MTs. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Quasi Eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain nonequivalent control group design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah  seluruh peserta didik kelas IX MTs Darul Falalah Salo, sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari dua kelas, dimana kelas IX A berupa kelas eksperimen dan kelas IX B sebagai kelas kontrol. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen 81,20 sedangkan kelas control 65,20. Dilihat dari hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh thitung = 7.490 dengan taraf signifikansi 0.000 < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima sehingga disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa yang belajar menggunakan model pembelajaran CMP dengan siswa yang belajar menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional pada kelas IX MTs Darul Falah Salo

    Perkembangan teknologi mutakhir telah merambah pada bidang kecerdasan buatan (AI), bioteknologi dan transhumanisme, jarak antara manusia dan teknologi tidak terpisahkan, sehingga memunculkan beberapa persoalan dalam dunia pendidikan seperti krisis ontologis dan pemahaman identitas manusia dalam pendidikan Islam, dekadensi pendidikan karakter, hingga diskoneksi antara ilmu dan nilai spiritual. Tujuan penelitian ini mengidentifikasi tantangan dan menganalisis peluang filsafat Pendidikan Islam di era posthumanisme. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu library research. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tantangan filsafat Pendidikan Islam di era post humanisme yaitu pergeseran konsep kemanusiaan, dehumanisasi teknologi, tantangan kurikulum, serta ancaman terhadap moral dan etika Islam. Sedangkan peluang filsafat Pendidikan Islam di era posthumanisme antara lain yaitu integrasi teknologi, reaktualisasi nilai-nilai Islam, pengembangan kurikulum yang adaptif, dan penguatan moralitas di era digital untuk meneguhkan bahwa filsafat Pendidikan Islam relevan memberikan solusi terhadap tantangan Pendidikan di era posthumanisme
