Counseling on the Utilization of Fruit Waste as an Alternative to Liquid Organic Fertilizer in the Tangga Takat Village, District of Seberang Ulu II, Palembang City
Fruit waste is considered a waste material that cannot be used anymore, so that its existence has not been properly utilized by the community. Even though fruit waste can still be reused as material for making liquid organic fertilizer (POC). Liquid organic fertilizer made from fruit waste is a type of fertilizer that has many benefits, both for plants and the environment. Liquid organic fertilizer is environmentally friendly and safe for humans and animals. Liquid organic fertilizer also improves soil structure, increases soil fertility, and increases soil water holding capacity, besides being environmentally friendly, reduces soil pollution, and protects soil health. This community service activity aims to provide knowledge and skills to the community about reusing fruit waste by processing it into liquid organic fertilizer (POC). The location of the community service was carried out at the Tangga Takat village head office, Seberang Ulu II District, Palembang City, on February 24 2022. The method used was counseling and training for the community about processing fruit waste into liquid organic fertilizer. This activity brought together 25 enthusiastic participants in a discussion and question and answer session during the training. The results of this community service show that the method of community service in the form of consultation, training and question and answer is very suitable for motivating the community in processing fruit waste into liquid organic fertilizer
PERBEDAAN KINERJA KEUANGAN SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH PANDEMI COVID-19 PADA PERUSAHAAN SEKTOR KESEHATAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI BEI
This study aims to determine whether or not there are differences in financial performance in the health sector (hospitals) listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the Covid-19 pandemic. Comparative quantitative approach is the method used in this research. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the form of financial statements of registered Health Sector Companies (Hospitals) and presenting financial report data on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Quarter 1 to 4 of 2019 as a reflection of conditions before the Covid-19 pandemic and reports financial year 2020 Quarters 1 to 4 as a reflection of conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research variable used is the liquidity ratio proxied by (Current Ratio and Quick Ratio) Solvency ratio is proxied by (Debt to Equity Ratio and Debt to Total Assets) Activity ratio is proxied by (Fixed Assets Turn Over and Total Assets Turn Over), Profitability ratios are proxied with (Return On Equity Ratio and Net Profit Margin). The results of this study indicate that the variables of liquidity, solvency, activity have no difference in financial performance while the profitability variable shows there is a difference in financial performance
KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA DALAM MENGGUNAKAN MULTIMEDIA INTERAKTIF
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dalam menggunakan multimedia interaktif pada materi segitiga di kelas IV SDN 12 Bukal. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan subjek penelitian adalah kelas IV berjumlah 16 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui instrumen tes berbentuk uraian yang telah melalui tahap uji validasi. Untuk mengukur kemampuan siswa dalam berpikir kritis digunakan 4 indikator yaitu : 1) Identifikasi masalah, 2) Analisis, 3) Memecahkan masalah, dan 4) Menarik simpulan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa di kelas IV SDN 12 Bukal setelah mengikuti proses pembelajaran yang menggunakan multimedia interaktif tergolong pada kategori sedang dan capaian persentase 66,00%. Selanjutnya untuk hasil setiap indikator juga tergolong pada kategori sedang karena mencapai persentase masing-masing identifikasi masalah 72,92%, analisis 64,58%, memecahkan masalah 63,89%, dan menarik kesimpulan 60,94%
Perancangan Apartemen Mahasiswa dengan Pendekatan Biophilic Design di Dramaga Bogor
The existence of the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB), has become one of the factors of the fast development in Dramaga District of Bogor. Dramaga's development can be seen from the growth of vertical commercial and residential buildings. The growth of vertical housing is based on the purpose of marketing to IPB students. Along of recent years, IPB students have increased which makes the rental housing market compete to provide residential facilities as Student Apartments. The growth number of IPB students was not followed by the growth of rental housing. Based on the research results, there are students who carefully decide where they want to live along their study. The Biophilic Design approach, being able to participate helps connect activity users (residents, managers, and visitors) to be active in social interaction. Not only the relationship between humans but also as an access to the relationship between humans and nature. Biophilic Design can also reduce student stress caused by activities while studying. The method in this research is direct observation, literature review and design analysis with the results of concrete concepts. This research provides a solution for meeting the needs of housing with a typology of forms and spatial patterns that provide a sense of connection with nature.Keberadaan Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB), menjadi salah satu faktor Kecamatan Dramaga pesat berkembang di Bogor. Perkembangan Dramaga terlihat dari tumbuhnya bangunan-bangunan komersil dan hunian vertikal. Tumbuhnya hunian vertikal tersebut didasari tujuan pemasaran kepada mahasiswa IPB. Sepanjang tahun terakhir ini peningkatan mahasiswa IPB membuat pasar hunian sewa bersaing pada fasilitas hunian Apartemen Mahasiswa. Bertumbuhnya populasi mahasiswa IPB, tidak diikuti dengan tumbuhnya hunian-hunian sewa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, masih banyak mahasiswa IPB yang penuh pertimbangan berhuni hingga akhir studi. Pendekatan Biophilic Design bertujuan membantu menghubungkan antar pengguna aktivitas (penghuni, pengelola, dan pengunjnung) agar aktif dalam berinteraksi sosial. Tidak hanya hubungan antar manusia tetapi juga sebagai pemberi akses untuk hubungan antara manusia dengan alam. Biophilic Design juga dapat menurunkan stress mahasiswa yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas selama mereka melakukan studi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi langsung, kajian pustaka dan analisis rancangan dalam bentuk konsep-konsep konkrit. Pemodelan Tata Ruang Pekarangan Rumah Tinggal Suku Madura Berbasis Tanaman Edible Lokal
Indonesia has very rich natural and cultural resources. One of them is the uniqueness of one of the islands in East Java, namely Madura. Madura has a different climate from most of East Java, so that allows for different natural resources. Conservation is one thing that can be done to protect biodiversity. Utilization of edible plants or plants that can be eaten is one way. There needs to be a modeling of the Madurese yard based on local edible plants. The method used in this research is qualitative with a phenomenological approach, namely understanding the phenomenon experienced by the research subject as a whole, and describing it. Several plants that have been identified as edible are moringa leaves, Chinese petai, katu, pumpkin, banana cobs and pumpkin leaves which are commonly consumed as daily food. While the people of Madura, who are known for their tradition of drinking herbal medicine, use several plants such as tamarind to mix their herbal medicine. So far, the use of yards in the area of Madura, Bangkalan in particular has grown organically. The results of the yard modeling proposed by the study are the utilization of the back of the long-crop arrangement for planting food crops, this is because only the back can be used as a family yard and use plant as a border.Indonesia memiliki keanekaragaman sumberdaya alam dan budaya yang sangat kaya. Salah satunya adalah kekhasan salah satu pulau di Jawa Timur yaitu Madura. Madura memiliki iklim yang berbeda dari sebagian besar wilayah Jawa Timur sehingga memungkinkan sumberdaya alam yang berbeda pula. Konservasi merupakan salah satu hal yang dapat dilakukan untuk melindungi keragaman hayati. Pemanfaatan tanaman edible atau tanaman yang dapat dimakan menjadi salah satu caranya. Perlu adanya pemodelan pekarangan suku madura berbasis tanaman edible lokal. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi yaitu memahami fenomena yang dialami oleh subjek penelitian secara menyeluruh, serta mendeskripsikannya. Beberapa tanaman yang berhasil diidentifikasi sebagai tanaman edible adalah daun kelor, petai cina, katu, labu, tongkol pisang dan daun labu biasanya dikonsumsi sebagai makanan sehari hari. Sementara masyarakat madura yang dikenal dengan tradisi meminum jamu memanfaatkan beberapa tanaman seperti asam jawa untuk campuran meminum jamu. Selama ini, pemanfaatan pekarangan di wilayah madura, bangkalan khususnya bertumbuh secara organik. Hasil pemodelan pekarangan yang diusulkan oleh penelitian adalah pemanfaatan bagian belakang susunan tanean lanjang untuk ditanami oleh tanaman pangan, hal ini dikarenakan hanya bagian belakang saja yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai pekarangan keluarga dan digunakan untuk pembatas.Kata kunci: edible plant, Madura, tanean lanjang
PEMBERDAYAAN KESEHATAN DI MASYARAKAT TANJUNG BARU PETAI
Dalam kegiatan Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) angkatan ke 59 kelompok 211 melakukan penelitian terhadap Kesehatan Masyarakat desa Tanjung Baru Petai bertujuan untuk memastikan masyarakat desa Tanjung Baru Petai dalam keadaan sehat mengingat target medical check up yang dilakukan adalah untuk masyarakat yang berumur 60 keatas (lansia). Kegiatan KKN ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif untuk melihat Kesehatan warga. Objek penelitian adalah warga di desa tanjung baru petai karena ingin mengetahui keadaan kesehatan khususnya untuk penyakit hipertensi (darah tinggi) dan kencing manis (diabetes) di masyarakat desa tanjung baru petai. Medical check up yang dilakukan ialah pengecekan tekanan darah dan pengecekan gula darah. Semoga kegiatan ini dapat memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat desa Tanjung Baru Petai dan juga semoga setelah di lakukannya medical check up ini masyarakat desa Tanjung Baru Petai dapat menjaga kesehatannya
HUBUNGAN PENGGUNAAN ANTIPSIKOTIK DENGAN EFEK SAMPING EKSTRAPIRAMIDAL PASIEN SKIZOFRENIA
Skizofrenia adalah salah satu gangguan jiwa berat yang ditandai dengan kesulitan yang dialami pasien untuk membedakan antara hal-hal yang terjadi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari seperti halusinasi dan delusi. Antipsikotik digunakan untuk menangani skizofrenia. Salah satu efek samping terapi antipsikotik yang paling umum adalah gejala ekstrapiramidal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengamati pola penggunaan antipsikotik dan menentukan hubungan antara penggunaan antipsikotik dan jumlah efek samping ekstrapiramidal yang terjadi di ruang rawat inap Rumah Sakit Ernaldi Bahar Palembang dari Oktober 2021 hingga Oktober 2022. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengambilan sampel purposive digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data secara retrospektif. Sebanyak 103 sampel berupa rekam medis pasien skizofrenia memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Menurut pola penggunaan antipsikotik, penggunaan antipsikotik kombinasi lebih banyak (64%) daripada antipsikotik tunggal. Efek samping ekstrapiramidal paling sering terjadi dengan kombinasi haloperidol-risperidone (6,8%), dan dengan risperidone sebagai terapi tunggal, yang paling sering terjadi. Hipersalivasi adalah efek samping paling umum dari sindrom ekstrapiramidal (34,3%). Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan nilai p = 0,022, yang menunjukkan bahwa p < 0,05. Efek samping sindrom ekstrapiramidal dapat dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan antipsikotik, baik secara tunggal maupun dalam bentuk kombinasi.
Hydroponic Method as a Solution for Planting Vegetables in Acidic Land
The use of hydroponic method in utilizing yard land for growing vegetables has been used for a long time in Indonesia. Utilizing this method is very helpful during the dry season, very beneficial for the farming community. This method does not require a lot of water and does not take long to produce. The solution for planting vegetables using the hydroponic method in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province is the right method for farmers, this is because the water conditions in this area are classified as acidic so the only plants that can be cultivated are rice and corn. The results of the survey in the field showed that the farming community met their vegetable needs by bringing in or buying from the main market in Palembang city, which is quite far from Telang Sari village, so the vegetables they bought were more expensive and less varied. This extension activity aims to introduce the hydroponic method as a solution for providing vegetables on acidic land for the people of Telang Sari village. This community empowerment activity uses counseling methods (lectures and discussions), demonstrations and evaluations. The results of this activity show that the farming community in Telang Sari Village gave a good response, was enthusiastic in carrying out the demonstration and was able to understand each series of stages of activities that will be carried out in cultivating vegetables using hydroponic method
Application of Floating Rice Science and Technology on the Lebak Swamp Land in Agrotourism Tekno 44 Gelebak Dalam Village
Tekno 44 Agrotourism is a tourist attraction centered in Gelebak Dalam Village, Rambutan District, Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra Province. Korem 044 Gapo is in charge of managing this agrotourism with an integrated farming system. Floating rice technology is one way to overcome the problem of flooding that occurs in lowland swamplands. Utilization of Lebak swamp land in South Sumatra for agriculture is still low; rice is only planted once a year during the dry season. The service was carried out from January to February 2023. The methods used included training and assistance regarding the application of floating rice technology on lowland swamp land, as well as facilitating the provision of facilities and infrastructure for the application of floating rice technology. The aim of this service is to increase the knowledge and skills of the Gelembak Dalam Village community regarding the application of floating rice technology on Lebak swamp land. Along with members of Korem 044 Gapo, the residents of Gelebak Dalam Village attended the training and mentoring. The people of Gelebak Dalam Village and members of Korem 044 Gapo are very enthusiastic about participating in training and mentoring to gain new knowledge and skills regarding the application of floating rice technology
