    Peran Kepribadian Hardiness dan Dukungan Sosial dalam Mengatasi Academic Burnout pada Pelajar

    AbstractThe purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between academic burnout with hardiness personality and social support in Surabaya students. This study used a quantitative correlational strategy. The total respondents were 180 people and the research participants were Surabaya students aged between 13 and 18 years. The method used was the quota sampling approach. The tools used in this study were the tough personality scale, the social support scale, and the academic burnout scale. The data analysis method used in this study was multiple linear regression. The initial hypothesis was rejected because the results of the multiple regression analysis showed no correlation between academic burnout and social support or hardiness personality. The second hypothesis was rejected based on the results of the partial test which showed no substantial negative correlation between academic burnout and hardiness personality. Based on the results of the partial test, academic burnout and social support have a substantial negative relationship, thus supporting the third hypothesis.Keywords: Academic Burnout; Personality Hardiness; Social Support; Students.AbstrakTujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan antara academic burnout dengan kepribadian hardiness dan dukungan sosial pada mahasiswa Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan strategi korelasional kuantitatif. Total responden sebanyak 180 orang dan partisipan penelitian adalah mahasiswa Surabaya yang berusia antara 13 sampai 18 tahun. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuota sampling. Alat yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala kepribadian tangguh, skala dukungan sosial, dan skala academic burnout. Metode analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi linier berganda. Hipotesis awal ditolak karena hasil analisis regresi berganda menunjukkan tidak ada korelasi antara academic burnout dengan dukungan sosial atau kepribadian hardiness. Hipotesis kedua ditolak berdasarkan hasil uji parsial yang menunjukkan tidak ada korelasi negatif yang substansial antara academic burnout dengan kepribadian hardiness. Berdasarkan hasil uji parsial, academic burnout dan dukungan sosial memiliki hubungan negatif yang substansial, sehingga mendukung hipotesis ketiga.Kata kunci: Academic Burnout, Kepribadian Hardiness, Dukungan Sosial, Pelaja

    Work Engagement pada Guru: Bagaimana Peranan Stress Kerja dan Resiliensi?

    AbstractThis study aims to determine the relationship between job stress and resilience with work engagement in teachers at the Attarbiyah Surabaya College Foundation. This research is a type of quantitative research using multiple regression analysis research. The subjects in this study were 123 teachers at the Attarbiyah Surabaya College Foundation. The data collection method was carried out through distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale. The results obtained simultaneously show a coefficient of 18,313 with a significance of 0.000 <0.01, which means that there is a positive relationship between job stress and resilience with work engagement. The results obtained in partial regression of work stress with work engagement show a coefficient of -2.178 with a significance of 0.031 <0.05 which means that the lower the work stress, the higher the work engagement, in partial regression between resilience and work engagement shows a coefficient of 4.757 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05 which meansthat the higher the resilience, the higher the work engagement.Keywords: Work stress, Resilience, Work Engagement, Attarbiyah College FoundationAbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara stress kerja dan resiliensi dengan work engagement pada guru di Yayasan perguruan Attarbiyah Surabaya.     Konflik Peran Ganda dan Keterikatan Kerja Karyawan Perempuan dalam Setting Industri

    AbstractThis research aims to determine the relationship between work family conflict and work engagement among female employees in the industrial sector. Role conflict refers to the condition where individuals experience pressure due to conflicting demands between work and family. Meanwhile, work engagement is a positive state in which individuals possess energy, dedication, and full focus in carrying out their work. This study employs a quantitative method with a correlational design. The sampling technique was conducted through purposive sampling, involving 122 female employees who work in the industrial sector and have dual roles. The research instruments use a role conflict scale based on the theory of Greenhaus and Beutell (1985) and a work engagement scale based on the theory of Bakker and Schaufeli (2004). The data obtained were analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation tests. The results indicate a significant positive relationship between work family conflict and work engagement among female employees in the industrial sector. This indicates that the higher the role conflict experienced, the higher the work engagement of female employees. Konflik peran ganda merupakan kondisi di mana individu mengalami tekanan akibat tuntutan peran yang bertentangan antara pekerjaan dan keluarga. Sementara itu, keterikatan kerja adalah kondisi positif di mana individu memiliki energi, dedikasi, dan fokus penuh dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain korelasional. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara purposive sampling dengan jumlah partisipan sebanyak 122 karyawan perempuan yang bekerja di sektor industri dan memiliki peran ganda. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan skala konflik peran ganda yang disusun berdasarkan teori Greenhaus dan Beutell (1985) serta skala keterikatan kerja berdasarkan teori Bakker dan Schaufeli (2004). Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara konflik peran ganda dan keterikatan kerja pada karyawan perempuan di sektor industri. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi konflik peran ganda yang dialami, maka semakin tinggi juga keterikatan kerja karyawan perempuan. Konflik peran berbasis waktu, tekanan, dan perilaku menjadi faktor utama yang memengaruhi keterikatan kerja yang terdiri dari aspek vigor, dedication, dan absorption.Kata kunci: Konflik Peran Ganda; Keterikatan Kerja; Karyawan Perempuan di Sektor Industr

    A Process-Oriented Study of Translation Challenges and Competencies among Indonesian EFL Students

    This study examined the challenges encountered by fourth-semester students in the English Department of STBA JIA during text translation in the Translation class. Additionally, the competency requirements of students for these tasks should be identified based on translation process translation challenges identified by many experts, and skills outlined by Dewi (2019). This research employs qualitative methodologies utilizing techniques for interviews with six students. The research findings lack knowledge and context and multiple meanings/ambiguity. In the next stage, transfer - conveying the meaning of source text into the target text, the challenges involve choosing the proper technique, method, strategy, or procedure and addressing cultural differences. In the subsequent restructuring phase, the challenge comes from the linguistic structure of the target text. The competency requirements of students must be considered, considering the challenges identified. The competencies needed to overcome those challenges are subject/ knowledge competence, terminological competence, transfer competence, cultural competence, and target language competence. While previous studies have discussed general difficulties faced by EFL students in translation, few have specifically examined how these challenges correspond to each phase of the translation process. The findings show that translation classes should not just focus on language accuracy, but also on increasing students' cultural awareness and subject-specific knowledge. Therefore, including domain-based vocabulary drills and providing Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools into the curriculum is highly suggested

    Persistensi insiden maritim di wilayah hukum Polresta Barelang pada tahun 2024, yang mencakup tiga kasus keimigrasian, dua pelanggaran kepabeanan, dan sepuluh kecelakaan laut, menyoroti tantangan keamanan maritim yang terus berlangsung dan menuntut respons organisasi yang adaptif serta andal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kondisi personel, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi, serta merumuskan strategi guna mengoptimalkan kinerja Satuan Polisi Perairan dan Udara (Satpolairud) Polresta Barelang. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa dokumentasi dan wawancara semi-terstruktur kepada enam informan kunci yang dipilih melalui purposive sampling. Dokumentasi mencakup kajian literatur, buku, serta arsip organisasi yang relevan dengan keamanan maritim. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak NVIVO untuk mengidentifikasi tema, hubungan antar variabel, serta mengeksplorasi pola di antara informan dan isu strategis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun personel Satpolairud menunjukkan disiplin dan dedikasi yang tinggi, mereka menghadapi tantangan dalam hal keterbatasan jumlah personel dan kurangnya kompetensi teknis di bidang kemaritiman. Faktor internal seperti kurangnya pelatihan lanjutan dan minimnya jumlah personel diidentifikasi sebagai kelemahan utama. Faktor eksternal, termasuk dukungan dari pemerintah pusat, kolaborasi antar lembaga, serta ancaman maritim yang terus berkembang, juga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja. Analisis SWOT menghasilkan beberapa strategi seperti peningkatan program pelatihan bersertifikat, penempatan personel berdasarkan latar belakang teknis, serta penguatan interoperabilitas dengan instansi maritim lainnya. Kesimpulannya, peningkatan kapabilitas Satpolairud Barelang memerlukan pengembangan personel yang komprehensif melalui pelatihan berkelanjutan, sistem rekrutmen yang ditingkatkan, dan sinergi kelembagaan untuk menghadapi tantangan keamanan maritim yang semakin kompleks

    Digital Marketing and Sustainability Accounting Literacy on Competitive Advantage and Fisheries MSMEs’ Performance

    Fisheries micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in the regional economy, particularly in Kupang City, which serves as one of the main centers of seafood processing in East Nusa Tenggara. However, limited market access, inadequate financial recording, and weak competitiveness remain major obstacles to improving business performance. This study aims to analyze the influence of digital marketing and sustainability accounting literacy on competitive advantage and fisheries MSMEs’ performance, as well as to examine the mediating role of competitive advantage. A quantitative research approach was employed, with respondents consisting of fisheries MSME actors in Kupang City. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with the SmartPLS software. The results indicate that digital marketing and sustainability accounting literacy have significant positive effects on both competitive advantage and MSME performance. Competitive advantage also shows a significant positive effect on performance. Furthermore, competitive advantage mediates the relationship between digital marketing and sustainability accounting literacy with the performance of fisheries MSMEs. This study contributes theoretically to the development of marketing management and sustainability accounting literature, while also providing practical implications for fisheries MSME actors and local government in designing strategies to enhance competitiveness and business sustainability

    IMPLEMENTATION OF THE VILLAGE FUND PROGRAM IN DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT IN LENGKONG DISTRICT SUKABUMI REGENCY

    Village funds are a means to support the implementation of community empowerment, Development, and village government in improving community welfare. This research aims to find out how the implementation of the Village Fund Program in Development and Community Empowerment is carried out in the Lengkong District. This research method uses a qualitative research method with a descriptive approach using the theory from Charles O. Jones. The technique used in determining informants is a non-probability sampling techniques with snowball sampling. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, documentation, and audio-visual materials. The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of the Village Fund Program in Development and Community Empowerment in Lengkong District has been running well, judging from the organization, parties involved, implementation activities, and operational procedures that have been running well. Communication and coordination between the parties involved are going well, and from the application of human resources is still not evenly distributed; public response is also pro and contra. Meanwhile, the efforts made have been going well, and the implementation of development and community empowerment is in accordance with the available budget

    PERFORMANCE OF FAMILY PLANNING INSTRUCTORS IN REDUCING BIRTH RATES AT THE SUKABUMI REGENCY POPULATION CONTROL AND FAMILY PLANNING SERVICE

    This research aims to determine and explain the performance of Family Planning Instructors at the Sukabumi Regency Population Control and Family Planning Service to reduce the birth rate. Qualitative descriptive methods, such as interviews, observations, and documents, were used in this research. Then, the unit of analysis is the Family Planning Counselor at the Sukabumi Regency Population Control Service, who has responsibility for implementing the family planning program. Using snowball sampling techniques, researchers will use two types of informants, namely key informants and supporting informants. Data collection techniques in this research were carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and audio and visual media. In validation, researchers examine the entire process, from data collection, analysis, and interpretation to conclusion. To validate research data, researchers will use triangulation techniques. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the quality of work of Family Planning Counselors in the last year was quite good and satisfactory. Punctuality, which prioritizes completing work on time with minimal errors, is implemented in implementing the Family Planning (K.B.) program in the field. Initiatives that emphasize independence, creativity, courage to take risks, and responsibility are implemented by family planning instructors. Communication, which includes the use of appropriate media, good communication skills, is critical factors in efforts to reduce birth rates through the family planning program in Sukabumi Regency

    THE EFFECTIVENESS OF THE PRIORITY VILLAGE PROGRAM FOR STUNTING PREVENTION IN CISAAT SUB- DISTRICT, SUKABUMI REGENCY

    This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the priority village program for preventing stunting in Cisaat Sub-District, Sukabumi Regency. The urgency of this study is driven by the lack of public awareness about the importance of avoiding stunting, inefficiencies in aid distribution, and the shortage of posyandu (integrated health service posts) supervisors to regularly monitor the growth of toddlers. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a snowball sampling technique and six informants. The result of this research is that the priority village program for stunting prevention has not been maximally implemented, due to the inability to conduct examinations by stunting experts, lack of human resources, inadequate facilities and infrastructure, and low public understanding of the importance of stunting prevention. The study recommends the need for training and capacity building for health workers, ensuring the availability of facilities and infrastructure, increasing the number of human resources for comprehensive and effective monitoring, and enhancing communication and coordination among all parties. Innovative approaches in community outreach are also required to raise awareness about the importance of stunting prevention

    The Role Of Digital Marketing In Developing Rural Creative Economy

    This paper presents a study of the role of digital marketing in developing the rural creative economy in Indonesia. Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in rural communities can benefit greatly from the simplicity and efficiency of digital marketing. However, the use of digital marketing is not yet fully optimized in Pandeglang Regency due to unequal internet infrastructure and lack of digital marketing skills. To address this issue, we conducted a qualitative study using in-depth interviews and observations with rural creative economy actors in the area. The data collected were analyzed using NVivo 12 Plus, a software program for qualitative data analysis. The results demonstrate that digital marketing has a positive impact on the development of the rural creative economy in Pandeglang Regency. This paper is essential to enhance digital marketing competencies and expertise among rural communities in the region to maximize the benefits of digital marketing. Our study contributes to the literature on rural development, creative economy, and digital marketing by providing insights into the challenges and opportunities of using digital marketing to develop rural areas
