This study aims to understand the agency and existence of women coffee workers in Jember through café and coffee shop practices, using Pierre Bourdieu's theoretical framework, namely habitus, and forms of capital. In contrast, women in coffee shops rely on community-based social capital to build interpersonal relationships that create popular legitimacy. Masculine and feminine dimensions also influence coffee consumption practices, with male customers demonstrating cultural dominance by expecting female service. Although women in cafés are often seen as an aesthetic element that enhances the place's attractiveness, their habitus remains a decisive factor in the business's success. In coffee shops, more informal relationships reflect local traditions that strengthen customer loyalty. This research concludes that women's agency in the coffee sector is strongly influenced by the habitus played in the doxa of coffee aena. As such, café and coffee shop practices reflect differences in bourgeois and popular legitimacy relevant to social and cultural dynamics in Jember

The wizarding world created by J. K. Rowling continued to attract scholarly interest because it offered narratives with recognizable social structures through which gender roles could be examined. However, many discussions of gender in Harry Potter-related texts tended to emphasise younger characters, while the feminist values of mature female figures received less attention. This study examined how feminist values were reflected in the character of Minerva McGonagall in Short Stories from Hogwarts of Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies by J. K. Rowling. The aim was to explore how McGonagall’s actions, leadership, and moral choices expressed ideas that aligned with feminist thought. The study employed qualitative research design to identify patterns in McGonagall’s portrayal. The data were collected through intensive reading of the text, focusing on passages that illustrated her values, decisions, and leadership style. The analysis used the feminist theoretical framework proposed by Tong and Botts, focusing particularly on liberal feminism and radical feminism. The findings showed that McGonagall’s character embodied feminist values such as equality, justice, and autonomy. These values were expressed through her commitment to her profession, principled decision-making, and resistance to restrictive gender norms. Her leadership demonstrated that feminist values could be conveyed through calm, consistent, and principled authority. These results suggested that McGonagall represented a form of female empowerment that was both subtle and impactful, offering an alternative model of feminist leadership in literature

The role of a production supervisor in manufacturing operations is a key factor in maintaining quality, stability, and the success of the production process. A production supervisor must maintain process effectiveness, output quality, and daily operational stability. Empirically, the scientific field that aligns with the scope of work of a production supervisor is Industrial Engineering. However, there is still a gap between the competencies of Industrial Engineering graduates and the qualifications required by companies for production supervisor positions. To fill this gap, this article aims to formulate qualification criteria for Industrial Engineering graduates interested in filling Production Supervisor positions in the manufacturing industry. The formulation of qualification criteria is based on job qualifications and requirements data from various types of manufacturers, collected through interviews with human resources department representatives and field observations. The research method used is a survey of experts experienced in the selection and development of human capital. Using the affinity diagram, the job qualifications and requirements are grouped into objective criteria, subjective criteria, and absolute requirements. Then, integrating the Pareto principle with the LINMAP method yields prominent qualification criteria. The results show that companies place the greatest emphasis on subjective qualifications, especially attitude (0,43) and software proficiency (0,43), followed by objective qualifications such as technical knowledge (0,36) and educational background (0,3).  These findings can be a basis for industry in the employee selection process and for universities in designing competency development programs and career preparation for Industrial Engineering students interested in careers as production supervisors.

The The Lease Grant Model as a Scheme for Utilizing Regional Property: an Alternative Approach to Implementing Proportionality between Regional Revenue Policies and Business Interests

    No full text
The five schemes for utilizing Regional Property in Article 27 of GR No. 27 of 2014 did not provide proportional justice for the grantor when using the regional property with a lease scheme. The purpose of this study is to analyze and formulate the lease grant model as a new alternative in the utilization scheme of Regional Property. This research is normative legal research with a statutory and conceptual approach. Legal materials are analyzed normatively. The results of the study found that according to the provisions of Article 27 of GR No. 27 of 2014 in conjunction with Article 81 of RM of Home Affairs No. 19 of 2016, Regional Property can be utilized with five schemes, namely leasing, borrowing, utilization cooperation, build operate transfer/build transfer operate, and cooperation in providing infrastructure. The five schemes do not provide justice proportionally to the community or granting business actors who want to utilize Regional Property with a lease scheme. There is no specificity of arrangements in the utilization of Regional Property with a lease scheme by the grantor. For this reason, a Regional Property lease grant scheme with special characteristics is needed, namely (1) The parties are the Regional Government and the community or business actors as lease grantors; (2) The object is Regional Property originating from community grants or business actors; and (3) Special procedures are needed to implement the lease grant scheme as an effort to provide proportional justice including in determining the rent adjustment factor

Debt and Fiscal Justice in the Global South: Argentina and Indonesia under IMF and World Bank Intervention

This article examines sovereign debt as both an economic mechanism and a political instrument that sustains structural inequalities between the Global North and South. Through a qualitative comparative study of Argentina and Indonesia, and drawing on dependency theory, postcolonial political economy and fiscal justice frameworks, the paper argues that international financial institutions such as the IMF and World Bank constrain fiscal autonomy and policy space in developing countries. In the Indonesian context, domestic elites—including technocrats, oligarchs, and state bureaucrats—play a central role in entrenching project-based debt dependency for political and economic gain. While Argentina serves as a cautionary tale, early signs of resistance emerge through South-South cooperation and BRICS-led alternatives. By integrating structural and actor-centered perspectives, this study contributes to debates on global debt governance and calls for reforms that advance distributive and procedural justice in fiscal policymaking. Keywords: IMF, debt diplomacy, global inequality, fiscal justice

Right to be Forgotten vs. Public Information Disclosure to Public Officials in Indonesia

The advancement of information technology, which renders digital footprints permanent, has generated new problems in the protection of personal data, including for public officials who possess narrower privacy boundaries than private citizens. Research aims to explore the potential conflicts between the right to be forgotten and long-standing principle of transparency in Article 28F of the 1945 Republic of Indonesia's Constitution. Additionally, this paper looks at which public servants should be protected by the Right to Forget Law under Indonesian national laws or administrative regulations. This research deals with the difference between Indonesian National Laws for public servants and the right to be forgotten. It also discusses laws from “Republic of Indonesia No. 19/2016 Electronic Information Transactions Law of Republic of Indonesia No. 14/2008 Disclosure of Public Information Laws”. EU policy as well as the direction taken in member states such as France. The findings of the research show that the applicability of the Right to be Forgotten for public servants cannot be in an absolute form since information about their tasks of offices, track records, alleged ethical or legal violations, and actions that have an impact on the public is information that must remain accessible as part of public accountability. Additionally, this research reveals discrepancies in the court's and the Information Commission's authority when it comes to responding to information removal requests, which may lead to jurisdictional disputes.  In conclusion, the public interest must be considered when evaluating any use of the Right to be Forgotten by public officials. Considering the proportionality principle and regulatory harmonization is required to sustain transparent and accountable government by ensuring the proper finding a balance between protecting people's privacy and giving the public the right to know
