President Prabowo\u27s Political Communication on Environmental Issues in Constructing Climate Narrative
No full textPresident Prabowo Subianto officially won presidential election in 2024 and began his administration effectively in October. He had some plans and policies to support national development, including food security and the expansion of palm oil plantation. These sectors are against ecosystem conservation and climate change prevention so that the issue became a controversy among the people. Through his official speech, President Prabowo did not mention environmental issue, whereas he put other sectors as top priorities. Media caught the event and and public paid attention as well. This research aims to analyze the framing on President Prabowo\u27s political communication regarding environmental issue. The analysis was conducted with framing theory of Robert N. Entman including his four main components, define problems, diagnose causes, moral judgement, and treatment recommendation. Two media which were observed by the researcher are Tempo.co and Betahita.id with qualitative approach. Researcher also applied Agenda Setting theory with critical discourse approach to see how media perceive the President in addressing the weakness in governance and lacking of relevant knowledge. Meanwhile, Betahita.id assessed that President Prabowo\u27s narrative on environmental issue is a form of his carelessness towards human rights issues and his partiality with irresponsible corporations

Penjualan produk pertanian cenderung memiliki nilai tambah cenderung rendah. Kegiatan pengabdian Masyarakat ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat Desa Bulukerto serta sebagai bentuk implementasi tujuan ketiga Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) yaitu meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dengan cara mengolah produk pertanian sehingga dapat meningkatkan value added dan memberikan strategi perluasan pasar dengan memanfaatkan pemasaran secara online. Tahap pengabdian masyarakat dilakukan dengan melakukan wawancara terstruktur menggunakan kuesioner serta melakukan Focus Group Duscussion (FGD). Kegiatan monitoring serta evaluasi dilakukan secara online. Hasilnya dari monitoring dan evaluasi yaitu terdapat peningkatan keterampilan dalam melakukan pemasaran secara online namun masih terdapat kendala pada modal untuk inovasi produk.Bulukerto Village, Bumiaji District, Batu City is an agriculture-based village and the majority work as farmers. Sales of agricultural products tend to have low added value. This community service activity was carried out with the aim of increasing the income of the people of Bulukerto Village and as a form of implementing the third goal of Sustainable Development Goals (SDG\u27s), namely improving community welfare by processing agricultural products so that they can increase added value and provide market expansion strategies by utilizing marketing. by online. The community service stage is carried out by conducting structured interviews using questionnaires and conducting Focus Group Discussions (FGD). Monitoring and evaluation activities are carried out online. The result of monitoring and evaluation is that there is an increase in skills in conducting online marketing but there are still obstacles to capital for product innovation

In this regard, this activity is training in processing descriptive statistical data using the Microsoft Excel tool pack for educators to facilitate the processing of descriptive statistical data in particular. With the aim that teachers can be more creative and independent in processing research data. Because based on the results of observations of several teachers in Lebak district, in processing data they still use the manual method. So, they find it difficult to process the data. This activity will be carried out online due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.Setiap lembaga pendidikan memiliki program kerja meningkatkan dan mengembangkan mutu pendidikan untuk semua jenjang. Untuk mendukung peningkatan dan mengembangkan mutu pendidikan harus didukung oleh tenaga pendidik (guru) yang professional. Berkaitan dengan hal tersebut pendidik dituntut untuk melakukan penelitian tindakan kelas. Dalam penelitian tindakan kelas dilakukan tahap pengolahan data. Get PDFUnit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM) dan klub ialah organisasi yang buat oleh universitas dan fakultas untuk mengembangkan minat, bakat, dan keterampilan mahasiswa yang berguna untuk pengembangan diri mahasiswa. Namun, tingkat partisipasi Mahasiswa Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas Medan dalam kegiatan UKM atau pun klub masih terbilang rendah. Hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya jangkauan promosi, kurangnya motivasi pada diri mahasiswa untuk mengikuti kegiatan UKM atau Klub, dan akses informasi tentang UKM dan klub serta pendaftaran anggota yang kurang efisien. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti merancang “Aplikasi Informasi UKM dan klub Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas Medan”. Tujuan dari perancangan aplikasi ini ialah untuk membantu mahasiswa dalam mengakses informasi, mempermudah mahasiswa dalam melakukan pendaftaran sebagai anggota UKM atau klub, serta memotivasi mahasiswa untuk masuk ke dalam UKM atau klub sesuai minat dan bakat mereka. Dalam pengembangan aplikasi ini, peneliti menggunakan metode waterfall. Metode ini dipilih karena memungkinkan peneliti menjalakan proses yang terstruktur dan berurutan, dimulai dari tahap analisis hingga pengujian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi informasi UKM dan klub berbasis web yang dikembangkan dapat mempermudah Mahasiswa Fakultas Ilmu Komputer Universitas Katolik Santo Thomas untuk mengakses informasi tentang UKM dan klub, melakukan pendaftaran anggota, serta mengikuti jadwal kegiatan. The Effectiveness of the Communication Style of Health Cadres Through Local Culture on Awareness of Stunting
Get PDFStunting continues to pose a significant public health challenge in Indonesia, particularly in the Kebon Kacang Subdistrict of Central Jakarta. This research is purposed to measure the effectiveness of communication style of health cadres through local culture on awareness of stunting among mothers. The study used a quantitative method of 50 respondents through accidental sampling. The theoretical framework comprised the Communicator Style Theory (Norton), Local Culture (Koentjaraningrat), and the Health Belief Model (Rosenstock). The correlation and linear regression analyses demonstrate that the communication style of health cadres significantly impacts stunting awareness (β = 0.702), while local culture also exhibits a positive correlation with stunting awareness (r = 0.628, p < .001). The coefficient of determination indicatess that the model accounts for the dependent variable effectively, as reflected by an R Square value of 0.752. These findings indicate that communication style through local culture can enhance mother’s understanding and awareness in efforts to prevent stunting more effectively
From Digital Discovery to Offline Conversion: The Role of Google Business Profile in Driving Consumer Emotions, Visit Intention, and Purchase Intention among Cafés in Bandung
Get PDFThis research looks at how Google Business Profile (GBP) makes people want to go to and buy from coffee shops, using the Pleasure–Arousal–Dominance (PAD) Theory, the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), and the Quality–Intention Framework. Information gathered from surveys of 226 users was examined using a method called partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) to understand how feelings and thoughts affect what people plan to do. The findings show that what GBP looks like affects people\u27s feelings and what they think, which then makes them want to do things in the real world. By combining PAD, TPB, and ideas about quality and intentions, this study gives a new way to understand how finding things online through GBP turns into what people do in person.

Enhancing the Business Model Engineering of Electric Motorcycle Conversion Workshops in Vocational High Schools
Get PDFThe Blue Sky Program is an Indonesian government initiative aimed at controlling air pollution. The government targets a reduction in carbon emissions of 0.038 to 0.056 gigatons through various policies, including the conversion of conventional motorcycles to electric vehicles as part of the national strategy. This electric vehicle conversion not only contributes to emission reductions but also creates business opportunities for conversion workshops and business entities. However, the adoption and diffusion of the electric motorcycle conversion business in Indonesia still faces several challenges, such as high conversion costs, inadequate supporting infrastructure, and a lack of skilled technical personnel. In addition, low consumer awareness and purchasing power hinder the widespread use of electric conversion vehicles. As a solution, collaboration with Vocational High Schools (SMK) engaged in automotive technology is being sought to strengthen the electric motorcycle conversion business ecosystem. The Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method is used as the primary strategy for developing solutions. This initiative is carried out through the Community Partnership Program (PKM), focusing on: (i) designing training modules on technology and business; (ii) conducting training on business engineering models for conversion workshops; (iii) providing business engineering assistance; and (iv) measuring the adoption and diffusion rate of conversion vehicle technology. Through this program, it is expected that partner conversion workshops can improve their business performance, ultimately contributing to the acceleration of electric vehicle adoption and diffusion in Indonesia
Business Model Canvass Training to Achieve Competitive Advantage for MSMEs in SanBarto Paroki, Bekasi

This business model training, facilitated by the entrepreneurs’ community under the auspices of the Catholic Church of St. Bartolomeus Paroki Taman Galaxy Bekasi, aims to raise awareness and utilize the application of the Business Model Canvas (BMC). The activity was carried out through material presentation, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, as well as direct practice regarding the use and identification of BMC components. This activity was conducted directly in the Paroki Hall, with 62 participants from various business backgrounds, and took place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. smoothly. Thus, this activity is crucial for community members, as it equips them to apply the BMC framework in their respective businesses. A majority of respondents, almost 60%, find that this activity was useful, relevant, and applicable to their business. This activity will be followed by other relevant training materials, specifically on marketing concepts and digital marketing, in the next meeting session

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan bagi UMKM dalam membuat video konten untuk memasarkan produk dan membuat titik lokasi pada google maps, meningkatkan pengetahuan mengenai cara pemanfaatan teknologi digital. kegiatan ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research. Kegiatan terdiri atas pembuatan media pemasaran dalam bentuk konten promosi dan pendampingan pembuatan titik lokasi dalam google maps. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini membuat para pelaku UMKM memiliki media-media yang dapat membantu dalam memasarakan produknya ke pasar yang lebih luas lagi. Get PDFProgram Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yang dilaksanakan di Pesantren Salafiyah Al Mu\u27awanah ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan kewirausahaan para santri melalui budidaya jamur tiram yang memanfaatkan limbah serbuk kayu. Inisiatif ini bertujuan untuk mendukung kemandirian ekonomi pesantren sekaligus memberikan keterampilan hidup yang berharga bagi para santri. Program dimulai dengan pelatihan kewirausahaan yang diikuti dengan pelatihan praktis tentang budidaya jamur tiram. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa para santri dan pengelola pesantren memperoleh pengetahuan yang mendalam mengenai kewirausahaan dan keterampilan dalam budidaya jamur tiram. Dengan memanfaatkan limbah serbuk kayu lokal, pesantren berhasil menciptakan sumber pendapatan yang produktif dan berkelanjutan, yang pada gilirannya meningkatkan kualitas layanan pendidikan pesantren. Program ini juga menjadi wadah untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran kewirausahaan di kalangan santri, mempersiapkan mereka untuk menjadi lebih mandiri dan proaktif dalam menghadapi tantangan kehidupan di masa depan. Kegiatan ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap keberlanjutan ekonomi pesantren dan memberikan keterampilan yang berguna bagi kehidupan santri ke depan
