    Development of the Platform independent application Taborniški S.O.S priročnik

    V diplomskem delu je opisan razvoj večplatformne aplikacije Taborniški S.O.S priročnik, namenjene tabornikom vseh generacij. Aplikacija predstavlja sodoben, digitalen pristop k deljenju in učenju taborniškega znanja. Aplikacija omogoča prevajanje, učenje in oddajanje Morsejeve abecede, prevajanje abecede semaforja ter učenje orientacijskega znanja, kot so topografski znaki. Opisane so tudi tehnologije, uporabljene pri razvoju končne aplikacije. Za razvoj aplikacije sta bila uporabljena ogrodje Flutter in orodje Figma, za zaledni del pa ogrodje ExpressJS in podatkovna baza PostgreSQL.The thesis describes the development of a multi-platform application called Taborniški S.O.S Priročnik (Scouting S.O.S Guide), designed for scouts of all generations. The application represents a modern, digital approach to sharing and acquiring scouting knowledge. It supports translating, learning and transmitting Morse code, translating flag semaphore code, and acquiring orienteering knowledge, such as topographic symbols. Moreover, the thesis explains the tools and technologies used in the development of the final application. The Flutter framework and Figma design tool were used for the development of the application, while the ExpressJS framework and the PostgreSQL database were used for the backend

    Učinki korporativnega namena na organizacijske inovacije

    Purpose: The current study has two primary goals: first, to examine the influence of corporate purpose on organizational innovation and second, to analyze the sequential mediation effect of both a people-centric approach and infrastructure between corporate purpose and organizational innovation. Design/Methodology: A sequential explanatory mixed-method design was used in this study. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and PROCESS macro were applied based on 188 online questionnaires completed by employees of a leading Portuguese publishing company, followed by a thematic analysis of 37 structured interviews. Results: The quantitative findings indicate that corporate purpose has a positive impact on organizational innovation and that both the people-centric approach and organizational infrastructure serve as significant mediators in the relationship between corporate purpose and organizational innovation. Moreover, the people-centric approach and organizational infrastructure sequentially mediate the relationship between corporate purpose and organizational innovation. The qualitative data corroborate and deepen these findings, revealing the crucial role of a people-centric approach and organizational infrastructure as mediators in corporate purpose to cope with organizational innovation. Conclusions: Our study provides theoretical and practical implications for practitioners, researchers, and business leaders to better understand the relationship between these concepts and opportunities for further research.Namen: Raziskava ima dva glavna cilja: prvič, preučiti vpliv korporativnega namena na organizacijske inovacije in drugič, analizirati zaporedni mediacijski učinek tako pristopa, usmerjenega v ljudi, kot tudi infrastrukture med korporativnim namenom in organizacijskimi inovacijami. Načrt/Metodologija: V raziskavi je bil uporabljen zaporedni pojasnjevalni načrt z uporabo mešanih metod. Izvedeni sta bili potrditvena faktorska analiza (CFA) in uporaba orodja PROCESS, temelječa na 188 spletnih vprašalnikih, ki so jih izpolnili zaposleni v vodilnem portugalskem založniškem podjetju. Temu je sledila tematska analiza 37 strukturiranih intervjujev. Rezultati: Kvantitativne ugotovitve kažejo, da ima korporativni namen pozitiven vpliv na organizacijske inovacije ter da pristop, usmerjen v ljudi, in organizacijska infrastruktura predstavljata pomembna mediatorja v odnosu med korporativnim namenom in organizacijskimi inovacijami. Poleg tega pristop, usmerjen v ljudi, in organizacijska infrastruktura zaporedno mediirata odnos med korporativnim namenom in organizacijskimi inovacijami. Kvalitativni podatki te ugotovitve potrjujejo in poglabljajo ter razkrivajo ključno vlogo pristopa, usmerjenega v ljudi, in organizacijske infrastrukture kot mediatorjev pri uresničevanju korporativnega namena za spopadanje z izzivi organizacijskih inovacij.     Background and Purpose: This article employs the Hugging Face keyphrase-extraction-kbir-inspec machine learning model to analyze 654 abstracts on the topic of energy efficiency in systems and control, computer science and robotics. Methods: This study targeted specific arXiv categories related to energy efficiency, scraping and processing ab - stracts with a state-of-the-art Transformer-based Hugging Face AI model to extract keyphrases, thereby enabling the creation of related keyphrase networks and the retrieval of relevant scientific preprints. Results: The results demonstrate that state-of-the-art open-source machine learning models can extract valuable information from unstructured data, revealing prominent topics in the evolving field of energy-efficiency. Conclusion: This showcases the current landscape and highlights the capability of such information systems to pinpoint both well researched and less researched areas, potentially serving as an information retrieval system or early warning system for emerging technologies that promote environmental sustainability and cost efficiency.Ozadje in namen: Uporabili smo strojno učenje po modelu Hugging Face za analizo 654 povzetkov na temo energetske učinkovitosti v sistemih, nadzoru, računalništvu in robotiki. Metode: V raziskavi so bile izbrane specifične kategorije arXiv, ki so povezane z energetsko učinkovitostjo in zajemanjem ter obdelavo povzetkov s sodobnim odprtokodnim Hugging Face keyphrase-extraction-kbir-inspec modelom za ekstrakcijo ključnih besed. Na ta način smo oblikovali povezana omrežja ključnih besed za pridobivanje relevantnih znanstvenih predpublikacij. Rezultati: Rezultati raziskave kažejo, da sodobni odprtokodni modeli strojnega učenja iz nestrukturiranih podatkov lahko izvlečejo relevantne informacije o pomembnih temah na še vedno premalo raziskanem področju energetske učinkovitosti. Zaključek: Prikazali smo trenutno stanje in možnosti za nadaljnje raziskovanje informacijskih sistemov za iskanje relevantnih informacij, ki lahko služijo odločevalcem kot managerski sistem zgodnjega obveščanja z uporabo sodobnih digitalnih tehnologij, ki spodbujajo okoljsko trajnost in izboljšujejo energetsko učinkovitost

    Comparison of the success of digital marketing on the social media Facebook and Instagram on the example of a pizzeria

    V današnjem času je večina ljudi prisotnih na družbenih medijih. Prav zato je v porastu tudi digitalni marketing na družbenih medijih, ki ga že uporablja večina majhnih in velikih podjetij v različnih panogah. V gostinski panogi je konkurenca velika in zato je zelo pomembno, da podjetja sledijo trendom, saj jih drugače hitro pozabijo. Prav zaradi tega smo naredili poskus, s katerim smo želeli preveriti, kako te digitalne marketinške strategije vplivajo na uporabnike družbenih medijev. Prav tako smo želeli preveriti, ali zares vplivajo na nakupne poti uporabnikov in ali jih lahko z objavami vsebine na družbenih medijih spremenimo v dejanske stranke podjetja. Za izvedbo poskusa smo izbrali podjetje Picerija Panda, ki je že bilo prisotno na družbenih medijih Facebook in Instagram. Vsebine smo objavljali pet tednov. Izdelali smo marketinško strategijo, kjer smo spremljali doseg, prikaze in interakcijo sledilcev z objavami in zgodbami. Ugotovili smo, da prisotnost in redno objavljanje na družbenih medijih zares vpliva na nakupne poti uporabnikov in da vsebina, kot so nagradne igre, sproži veliko interakcije. Ugotovitve, do katerih smo prišli, bodo služile za nadaljnje raziskovanje vpliva digitalnega marketinga na družbenih medijih na nakupne poti strank.Nowadays, most people are present on social media. That is why digital marketing on social media is also on the rise, and most small and large companies in various industries are already using it. The competition in the hospitality industry is high, and therefore it is vital for companies to follow trendsotherwise, customers will quickly forget them. That is why we experimented to investigate the impact of these digital marketing strategies on social media users. We also wanted to check if these really affect the purchasing paths of users and if we can turn them into actual customers of the company by publishing content on social media. To conduct the experiment, we chose the company Picerija Panda, which was already present on social media, Facebook and Instagram. We published the content for five weeks. We developed a marketing strategy where we monitored the reach, views, and interaction of followers with our posts and stories. We found that presence and regular posting on social media really affect the purchasing paths of users, and that content such as giveaways receives much interaction. The findings we have come to will serve to further explore the topic of the impact of digital marketing on social media on customer purchase paths

    Jadranje je bilo opredeljeno kot eden izmed bolj zanimivih športov, saj je bilo in je povezano z naravo. Pri jadranju so bile ugotovljene razlike med jadralci glede na število storjenih napak, pri čemer je bil manjši delež napak pripisan določenim jadralcem. Zelo dobro poznavanje vseh naravnih dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na hitrost jadrnice, mora biti zagotovljeno, prav tako mora biti razloženo, kako so sile, ki delujejo na jadrnico, uporabljene v prid njenega gibanja. Posebno pozornost moramo posvetiti tudi jadralčevi fizični in psihični pripravljenosti. V diplomskem delu so bile povzete vse osnovne in pomembne terminologije jadranja, vremenski pojavi, tehnika, taktika in pravila jadranja, kar je bilo ocenjevano kot primerno za vse, ki želijo pridobiti boljše razumevanje delovanja enosedih jadrnic in pravil, ki se zanje uporabljajo.Sailing is one of the more interesting sports as it is connected to nature. Differences are made between sailors based on who makes fewer mistakes. A very good understanding of all the natural factors that can affect the speed of the boat is required. It is necessary to understand how forces act on the boat and how to use them to your advantage. One must also not forget the sailor\u27s physical and mental preparedness. The thesis summarizes all the basic important terminology of sailing, weather phenomena, technique, tactics, and sailing rules. It is useful for anyone who would like to better understand how single-handed dinghies work and what rules apply to them

    Economic characteristics of housing and comparison of the Slovenian and selected European union member states´ housing markets

    Diplomsko delo obravnava stanovanjski trg kot pomemben del gospodarstva in vsakdanjega življenja prebivalcev. Osredotoča se na ekonomske značilnosti stanovanj, kot so redkost, neelastičnost ponudbe in visoka vrednost, ter analizira ključne dejavnike, ki vplivajo na gibanje cen stanovanj. V ospredje je postavljena primerjalna analiza stanovanjskega trga Slovenije z izbranimi članicami Evropske unije (Nemčijo, Avstrijo in Nizozemsko). Namen raziskave je prepoznati podobnosti in razlike med izbranimi državami ter ugotoviti, kako učinkovito posamezne države uravnavajo svoj stanovanjski trg. Raziskava temelji na analizi statističnih podatkov, uradnih poročil, znanstvenih člankov in sekundarnih virov, s poudarkom na kazalnikih, kot so lastniška struktura, gibanje cen, stroški najema in dostopnost stanovanj. V teoretičnem delu naloga pojasni vlogo stanovanjskega trga v ekonomiji, obravnava značilnosti nepremičnin kot posebnega blaga in razloži temeljne tržne mehanizme. Sledi pregled dejavnikov, ki vplivajo na ponudbo in povpraševanje po stanovanjih, ter opis kazalnikov, s katerimi se meri dostopnost in učinkovitost stanovanjske politike. V empiričnem delu naloga primerja stanovanjske trge Slovenije, Nemčije, Avstrije in Nizozemske. Analiza se osredotoča na cene stanovanj, delež lastniških stanovanj, podatke o najemniškem sektorju, stroških najema in politikah države na področju stanovanjske preskrbe. Ugotovitve kažejo, da se Slovenija sooča s številnimi strukturnimi izzivi, medtem ko izbrane države učinkoviteje uravnavajo trg s pomočjo ciljno usmerjenih politik. V nalogi so oblikovani predlogi za izboljšanje stanovanjske politike v Sloveniji, s poudarkom na potrebi po dolgoročni strategiji, ki temelji na socialni pravičnosti, finančni dostopnosti in stabilnosti stanovanjskega trga.The thesis discusses the housing market as an important part of the economy and everyday life of the population. It focuses on the economic characteristics of housing, such as scarcity, inelasticity of supply, and high value, and analyzes the key factors that influence the movement of housing prices. The comparative analysis of the Slovenian housing market with selected European Union member states (Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands) is put in the foreground. The purpose of the research is to identify similarities and differences between the selected countries and to determine how effectively individual countries regulate their housing market. The research is based on the analysis of statistical data, official reports, scientific articles, and secondary sources, with a focus on indicators such as ownership structure, price movements, rental costs, and housing affordability. In the theoretical part, the thesis explains the role of the housing market in economics, discusses the characteristics of real estate as a special commodity, and explains the basic market mechanisms. Follows an overview of the factors that influence the supply and demand for housing, and a description of the indicators used to measure the accessibility and effectiveness of housing policy. In the empirical part, the thesis compares the housing markets of Slovenia, Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands. The analysis focuses on data on housing prices, the share of owner-occupied housing, the rental sector, rental costs, and government policies in the field of housing. Findings show that Slovenia faces numerous structural challenges, while the selected countries regulate the market more effectively through targeted policies. The assignment proposes improvements to housing policy in Slovenia, with an emphasis on the need for a long-term strategy based on social justice, financial accessibility, and stability of the housing market

    The effect of massage on the subjective feelings of volleyball players

    Diplomska naloga obravnava vpliv masaže po treningu na počutje, regeneracijo in športno učinkovitost odbojkarjev. Namen raziskave je bil ugotoviti, ali redna masaža prispeva k hitrejši regeneraciji, boljšemu subjektivnemu počutju in višji športni formi. V raziskavi je sodelovalo več odbojkarjev, razdeljenih v eksperimentalno skupino (ki je redno prejemala masaže) in kontrolno skupino (ki masaž ni prejemala). Podatki so bili zbrani s pomočjo vprašalnika in primerjalne analize. Rezultati so pokazali, da masaža večini športnikom pomaga pri sprostitvi, hitrejši regeneraciji in manjši mišični napetosti. So pa se med posamezniki kazale razlike, nekateri so masažo doživeli kot zelo pozitivno, pri drugih pa je bil učinek manj izrazit. Kljub temu se masaža kaže kot koristen dodatek trenažnemu procesu. Raziskava je pokazala, da bi lahko redna masaža v okviru treninga pozitivno vplivala na telesno pripravljenost in psihično počutje športnikov.The thesis examines the effect of post-training massage on the well-being, regeneration, and athletic performance of volleyball players. The purpose of the research was to determine whether regular massage contributes to faster regeneration, better subjective well-being, and higher sports performance. Several volleyball players participated in the study, divided into an experimental group (which received regular massages) and a control group (which did not receive massages). Results were measured by survey questionnaire. Results showed that massage helps most athletes relax, recover faster, and reduce muscle tension. However, there were differences among individuals, with some experiencing the massage as very positive, while others had a less pronounced effect. Despite this, massage appears to be a useful addition to the training process. Research has shown that regular massage as part of training can have a positive effect on the physical fitness and mental well-being of athletes

    Construction of a humidity control system for development of a one finger gripper for a nanoprecise robot

    Za namene nadaljnjega razvoja enoprstega prijemala nanopreciznega robota smo v okviru diplomskega dela izdelali enosmerni regulacijski sistem vlažnosti. Tega smo opremili z lastno izdelanim hitrim senzorskim sistemom, aktuatorjem na osnovi silikagela in mikrokrmilnikom s serijsko komunikacijo ter diskretnim PI regulatorjem. Pri izdelavi smo uporabili moderne pristope, kot so hitra izdelava prototipov, parametrično računalniško modeliranje in modularna zasnova. Čeprav regulacijskega sistema nismo uspeli povezati z obstoječim nadzornim sistemom nanopreciznega robota v celovito enoto zaradi arhitekturnih nekompatibilnosti, smo pokazali, da je sposoben uspešno regulirati vlažnost.To enable future development of a nano-precise robot compatible one-finger gripper we created a unidirectional closed-loop humidity control system within the scope of the thesis. We equipped it with a self-made fast senor system, a silica gel based actuator and a microcontroller with serial communication and a discrete PI controller. During the system\u27s creation we employed the use of modern approaches, such as rapid prototyping, computer based parametric modeling and modular design. Even though we were unable to connect the humidity control system with the rest of the nano-precise robot system due to architectural incompatibilities, we have demonstrated that it is capable of humidity control

    Influence of welding on the mechanical properties of steel SA 500

    Magistrsko delo obravnava vpliv varjenja na mehanske lastnosti jekla SA 500 z dodajnim materialom EZ - MIG 307 Si. Uporabljen osnovni material spada med protibalistična jekla, ki imajo dobre mehanske lastnosti, zlasti trdnost in trdoto. Ker varjenje degradira osnovni material, bomo analizirali njegov vpliv na mehanske lastnosti. Izvedli smo natezni preskus, instrumentiran Charpyjev preskus in merjenje trdote po Vickersu. Z omenjenimi mehanskimi preskusi smo potrdili, da ima osnovni material visoko trdnost in trdoto, vendar je dokaj krhek. Z vnosom toplote (varjenjem) se ta krhkost odpravi in material postane bolj žilav, vendar se mu drastično zmanjšata trdnost in trdota.The master\u27s thesis examines the impact of welding on the mechanical properties of SA 500 steel with the filler material EZ-MIG 307 Si. The base material used is among the anti-ballistic steels, which have good mechanical properties, especially strength and hardness. Because welding degrades the base material, we will analyze its impact on the mechanical properties. Tensile tests, instrumented Charpy tests and Vickers hardness measurements were performed. These mechanical tests confirmed that the base material has high strength and hardness but is quite brittle. The input of heat (welding) removes this brittleness and makes the material tougher, but drastically reduces its strength and hardness

    Virtual reality simulations for training chemical engineers in safe process operation

    V magistrskem delu je prikazana uporaba interaktivnih simulacijskih okolij v virtualni resničnosti pri usposabljanju študentov in kemijskih inženirjev za varno vodenje procesov. Namen naloge je prikazati pomen virtualne resničnosti in možnosti, ki jih ta tehnologija ponuja na področju kemijskega inženirstva. Večina študentov ob koncu študija namreč nima predstave o obsegu in kompleksnosti delovanja kemijskih obratov zaradi omejenih možnosti pridobivanja praktičnih izkušenj med študijem. Zaradi vedno večje kompleksnosti in višje stopnje avtomatizacije v kemijski industriji pa primanjkuje tudi ustreznih vsebin za usposabljanje kemijskih inženirjev pri reševanju izrednih ali nevarnih situacij. Z uporabo programske opreme TSC Simulation smo izvajali dinamične tridimenzionalne simulacije procesa trifazne separacije surove nafte, pri katerih smo upravljali s procesom, rokovali s procesnimi enotami in se seznanili z delovanjem regulacijskih zank ter varnostnih sistemov v obratu. Izvajali smo dinamične simulacije postopkov, ki se v realnih obratih izvajajo občasno in predstavljajo varnostni izziv, npr. zagon in zaustavitev procesa. Poleg tega smo izvajali dinamične simulacije odpovedi procesnih naprav in napak v sistemu, kjer smo predstavili načine za identifikacijo okvar in pripravo načrtov za njihovo odpravo. Scenariji so vključevali napake v delovanju regulacijskih zank, odpovedi procesne opreme (ventilov, črpalk) in sprožitve varnostnih sistemov v nujnih situacijah. S pridobljenim znanjem smo oblikovali tudi lastno simulacijo procesa, ki je namenjena usposabljanju kadra za pripravljenost na večje kognitivne obremenitve, poleg tega pa spodbuja analitično razmišljanje ter sodelovanje med operaterji v nadzorni sobi in procesnimi tehnologi v obratu. Rezultat dela je nabor scenarijev, ki predstavljajo za študente edinstveno in celovito izkušnjo obvladovanja virtualnega procesa, saj povezujejo osnovna kemijsko-inženirska znanja z znanji regulacije, dinamike, separacije, optimizacije in varnosti procesov. Z njimi smo prikazali, kako bi simulacije virtualne resničnosti vključili v učni proces oz. ustvarili mikrodokazila za usposabljanje kadra v industriji.The master\u27s thesis demonstrates the use of interactive simulation environments in virtual reality for training students and chemical engineers in process safety management. The aim of the thesis is to demonstrate the importance of virtual reality and the possibilities this technology offers in the field of chemical engineering. At the end of their studies, most students have limited understanding of the scope and complexity of chemical plant operations due to insufficient opportunities to gain practical experience during their studies. Due to the increasing complexity and higher degree of automation in the chemical industry, there is also a lack of suitable content for training chemical engineers in dealing with emergencies or hazardous situations. Using TSC Simulation software, we performed dynamic three-dimensional simulations of the three-phase separation process of crude oil, in which we managed the process, handled process units, and familiarized ourselves with the operation of control loops and safety systems in the plant. We performed dynamic simulations of procedures that are performed occasionally in real plants and pose a safety challenge, such as process start-up and shutdown. In addition, we performed dynamic simulations of process equipment failures and system errors, where we presented methods for identifying faults and preparing plans for their repair. The scenarios included malfunctions in control loops, failures of process equipment (valves, pumps), and the activation of safety systems in emergency situations. With the knowledge gained, we also designed our own process simulation, which is intended to equip staff in situations with a higher cognitive load, while also encouraging analytical thinking and cooperation between operators in the control room and process engineers in the plant. The result of this work is a collection of scenarios that provide students with unique and comprehensive experience of mastering the virtual process, as they combine basic chemical engineering knowledge with knowledge of process control, dynamics, separation, optimization, and safety. With these scenarios, we have demonstrated how process simulations in virtual reality could be incorporated into the learning process or used to create micro-credentials for staff training in industry
