Moderasi Fatwa: Telaah Kritis atas Keputusan Fatwa Majelis Ulama Indonesia Provinsi Jambi tentang Pengalihan Harta Wakaf
In 2021, the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) of Jambi Province issued a fatwa permitting the transfer, exchange, or alteration of waqf assets to enhance their value and utility. This stands in contrast to the Shafi’i school of thought, which is predominantly followed by Muslims in Indonesia, where such actions are generally discouraged. This study aims to explore the legal methodology employed by the MUI of Jambi Province and to elucidate the principles of religious moderation inherent in their decision. The research utilizes a case study design, relying on interview data from MUI officials and document analysis of the issued fatwa and other relevant materials. The findings indicate that, although this fatwa initially appears to contradict the Shafi’i doctrine, it is procedurally sound, employing the methodologies of bayani, ta’lili, and istishlahi. Substantively, it aligns with the Quran, Hadith, and the views of both classical and contemporary scholars, strongly supporting the principle of public interest (maslahah). Moreover, the fatwa reflects significant aspects of religious moderation, particularly inclusivity, respect for tradition, and adaptability to social change
Moral Politik Hukum Islam: Menyeimbangkan Hak Asasi Manusia dan Konservasi Lingkungan
The global dialogue on balancing economic development, human rights protection, and environmental preservation necessitates contributions from religions with their universal values. This article elucidates the role of Islamic law in maintaining the balance between human rights and environmental sustainability through political practices and policies in Indonesia. This study employs a descriptive-analytical method with a qualitative approach. Data collection is conducted through literature review and analyzed using content analysis. The findings of this research indicate that the concepts of maslahah (public interest) and maqasid al-shariah (objectives of Islamic law) have played a crucial role in providing fundamental principles for various sustainable policies. Islamic legal politics, through the principles of tawazun (balance) and avoiding harm, have fostered a restraint from excessive exploitation of natural resources to maintain ecological balance. The principles of maslahah and maqasid al-shariah offer a strong ethical and moral foundation for sustainable policies and support global efforts towards environmental sustainability and social welfare
Negotiating Women’s Agency in Marriage Choice: A Case Study of Muslim Society in Kerinci
Arranged marriages remain significant in Muslim Kerinci society, where cultural traditions and Islamic values shape family life. This study explores the factors sustaining marital harmony and how women negotiate agency within family expectations and religious norms. Using a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews involving community leaders, scholars, and couples in Air Hangat Barat District, the research highlights the interplay between structural norms and individual choices. Findings show that shared religious values, moderation in household management, tolerance of shortcomings, supportive parental roles, and affection rooted in Islamic teachings are key to harmonious families. While cultural and religious frameworks function as structural constraints, women exercise agency by negotiating their roles and influencing marital outcomes. The study’s novelty lies in integrating Islamic perspectives with sociological and gender theories to explain how tradition, faith, and agency interact to sustain arranged marriages in contemporary Muslim contexts
Hubungan religiositas dengan social media addictions pada mahasiswa Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka
Excessive social media use among students has been linked to detrimental impacts on mental, physical, and academic well-being. This study investigated the relationship between religiosity and social media addiction among 102 college students Universitas Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka. Employing an accidental sampling technique, data were collected using the MUDRAS religiosity scale and a modified social media addiction scale. Data analysis was carried out using the Pearson correlation test in SPSS 20. Pearson correlation analysis revealed a significant negative correlation (-0.212) between religiosity and social media addiction, suggesting that higher levels of religiosity are associated with lower levels of social media addiction. These findings support the notion of religiosity as a potential protective factor against this prevalent issue. Problematika Pembimbing dalam Membina Penyandang Tuna Grahita di Panti Sosial Bina Grahita Harapan Ibu Padang
Mentally retarded children in social institutions often lack optimal care due to limited resources and support for supervisors. This study explores the challenges faced by dormitory supervisors caring for mentally retarded children at the Bina Grahita Harapan Ibu Padang Social Home, aiming to identify solutions for improved service quality, child independence, and well-being. A qualitative approach employing observation and interviews with seven supervisors was used. Supervisors reported challenges including diverse child needs, limited resources, inadequate training and support, emotional strain, and minimal social support. These findings highlight the need for comprehensive support programs, including training, to enhance supervisor capacity and improve child outcome
Implementasi Manajemen Risiko dalam Meningkatkan Efektivitas Pembelajaran di SMA Al-Ihsan Cimencrang
Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi konsep dan implementasi manajemen risiko dalam konteks pendidikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran siswa di SMA Al-Ihsan IBS Cimencrang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Al-Ihsan Cimencrang Kota Bandung Provinsi Jawa Barat. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian kualitatif pendekatan deskriptif. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi manajemen risiko di SMA Al-Ihsan Cimencrang dapat membantu menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang lebih aman dan produktif. Hal itu ditandai dengan lebih kondusif nya penggunaan sarana dan prasana sekolah dalam kegiatan pembelajaran, terorganisirnya para siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dan meningkatkan efektivitas para guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran. Dengan mengidentifikasi risiko yang mungkin terjadi dalam proses belajar, sekolah dapat merencanakan tindakan mitigasi yang tepat dan mengembangkan keterampilan adaptasi yang diperlukan untuk siswa dapat mengoptimalkan potensi mereka, mengatasi tantangan dalam belajar, dan mencapai hasil belajar yang lebih baik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan implementasi manajemen risiko di SMA Al-Ihsan IBS Cimincrang dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran sudah berjalan dengan optimal dibuktikan dengan adanya strategi yang diterapkan sehingga hasil pembelajaran siswa lebih memuaskan dengan adanya kegiatan pembelajaran yang efektif. Namun, kegiatan pengelolaan manajemen risiko di SMA Al-Ihsan Cimencrang ini belum menyeluruh dalam pelaksanaan nya, karena hanya Kepala Sekolah dan beberapa bagian yang terlibat dalam kegiatan pengelolaan manajemen risiko ini. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan wawasan tentang pentingnya integrasi dan implementasi manajemen risiko dalam strategi pendidikan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas belajar siswa di sebuah lembaga pendidikan.
Pengaruh Latar Belakang Pendidikan dan Profesionalisme Guru terhadap Manajemen Penilaian Pembelajaran PAI SMP Negeri di Kabupaten Wonosobo
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan dan profesionalisme Guru Terhadap Manajemen Penilaian Pembelajaran Pendidikan agama Islam SMP Negeri di kabupaten Wonosobo. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru agama Islam SMP Negeri di kabupaten Wonosobo yang berjumlah 107 orang. Adapun sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 40 guru yang ditentukan dengan cara random sampling secara acak. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode angket yang digunakan untuk mengungkapkan variabel latar belakang pendidikan, profesionalisme guru dan manajemen penilaian pembelajaran. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kuantitatif. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh latar belakang pendidikan dan profesionalisme guru terhadap manajemen penilaian pembelajaran menggunakan bantuan komputer program SPSS versi 20. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh dari lapangan dan perhitungan dengan menggunakan rumus regresi linier, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) 29 atau 72,5% guru agama memiliki latar belakang pendidikan agama Islam pada kategori sesuai signifikansi 0,018 sumbangan efektifitas sebesar 12,4%. 2) Profesionalisme guru agama SMP Negeri di kabupaten Wonosobo 28 atau 70% bernilai signifikansi 0,000 sumbangan efektif sebesar 62,7 %. (3) Manajemen penilaian pembelajaran 31 atau 77,5% sangat baik (4)Terdapat pengaruh antara latar belakang pendidikan dan profesionalisme guru terhadap manajemen penilaian pembelajaran agama Islam, dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 secara bersama berpengaruh 75,1%.
Pelaksanaan Pengelolaan Laboratorium Fisika di IAIN Palangka Raya
Laboratorium berperan penting sebagai tempat untuk melakukan percobaan, penyelidikan atau kegiatan ilmiah yang dapat penunjang aktivitas belajar mengajar. Salah satu laboratorium yang ada di IAIN Palangka Raya yaitu Laboratorium Fisika. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengelolaan laboratorium tersebut. Jenis penelitian yang akan dilakukan yaitu penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dan pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu Laboratorium Fisika terdiri dari Laboratorium Elektronika, Laboratorium Fisika Dasar dan Ruang Workshop Fisika/Bengkel Fisika Terapan. Pengelolaan laboratorium fisika berupa penggunaan laboratorium, penggunaan alat laboratorium, penyimpanan alat dan bahan laboratorium, pemeliharaan alat-alat laboratorium, keselamatan kerja di laboratorium serta kegiatan administrasi di laboratorium telah dilaksanakan dan berjalan dengan baik. Penggunaan laboratorium serta penyimpanan dan pemeliharaan alat laboratorium dilakukan sesuai dengan masing-masing fungsi dari ruang laboratorium. Selain itu, penggunaan alat dan keselamatan kerja di laboratorium juga dilaksanakan sesuai dengan prosedur serta hal yang sama juga terkait kegiatan administrasi di laboratorium. Laboratorium Fisika IAIN Palangka Raya memiliki Standar Operasional Prosedur (SOP) sebagai dasar dalam pelayanan atau pelaksanaan di laboratorium
Ethnomathematics-Based Edutainment: Exploring the Enhancement of Mathematical Reasoning Skills Through Video Games
This study aims to develop an ethnomathematics-based visual novel game, named "EtnoMath," to enhance students' mathematical reasoning abilities in fraction material. The game was developed in response to students' difficulties in understanding mathematical reasoning concepts, which have led to low learning outcomes. This research employed a Research & Development (R&D) approach using the Alessi & Trollip model, which consists of three stages: planning, design, and development. Expert validation (content and media), practicality analysis, and product effectiveness analysis were conducted as part of the evaluation process. Data collection techniques included validation questionnaires, teacher and student practicality questionnaires, and mathematical reasoning ability tests. The results indicated that "EtnoMath" meets the criteria for being valid, practical, and effective, with a media validity score of 88% (very valid) and a content validity score of 90% (very valid). The practicality level was rated at 84% by teachers and 84% by students (both very practical). Effectiveness analysis, both from individual and classical mastery tests, showed that student mastery exceeded 80% in field trials. Effectiveness testing using a one-sample t-test showed a significant improvement in post-test scores (M = 87.25, p < 0.001) compared to the minimum mastery criterion (KKTP = 80), while a binomial test confirmed that all students exceeded this benchmark (p = 0.000).These findings suggest that "EtnoMath" is effective in enhancing students' mathematical reasoning skills and aligns with modern pedagogical standards. However, the study has limitations, such as a lack of long-term evaluation and adaptation to various user needs. The implications of these findings highlight the need for further development to improve the game's flexibility and expand its application in broader educational contexts
KEBANGKITAN DAN PERKEMBANGAN MADRASAH DI INDONESIA (MASA ORDE LAMA, ORDE BARU, DAN ERA REFORMASI)
The aim of this research is to find out how the development and revival of madrasas in Indonesia, starting from the colonial period until now. This research is library research. The results of this research are the changes that occurred during the old order of madrasas in Indonesia which occurred in Madrasas starting with the opening of the Compulsory Learning Madarsah (MWB) in the early 50s. During the First New Order, in the madrasah and public school curricula there were core and elective programs. Second, the core program is carried out in terms of fulfilling the educational goals of madrasas and public schools, then qualitatively the core programs of madrasas and public schools are similar. Third, special (optional) programs are implemented to provide skills capital for students who will continue their education to tertiary institutions for Senior High Schools (SMA) or Madrasah AIiyah (MA). Fourth, determining the implementation of the madrasah and public school curriculum regarding the Semester Credit System (SKS).
