The Manifestation of 'Urf Concept Based on Local Wisdom in Resolving Marital Conflict Barambangan by Religious Leaders in Banjar Regency
Domestic conflicts known as "Barambangan" in Banjarese society require resolution approaches grounded in local wisdom values. This study aims to analyze the manifestation of the 'urf (customary practice) concept based on local wisdom in resolving marital conflict barambangan by religious leaders in Banjar Regency. This research employs a qualitative method with a sociological-juridical approach, involving six religious leaders from various villages in East Martapura District. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participant observation, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the local 'urf concept manifests in three resolution stages: (1) the listening stage (mamandang), (2) the counseling stage (manasihati), and (3) the mediation stage (mampadamaikan). The local wisdom employed encompasses values such as "bahandap hati" (humility), "bakudutan" (deliberation), and "basalamatan" (prioritizing relationship safety). These findings indicate that the integration of local 'urf with Islamic principles provides effective solutions in domestic conflict resolution, achieving an 80% success rate in preventing divorce. This study contributes to the development of family conflict resolution models based on local wisdom that can be implemented within the context of Islamic family law in Indonesi
DIGITAL INHERITANCE AND LEGAL VACUUMS: IMPLICATIONS FOR LEGAL CERTAINTY IN INDONESIA
The advancement of digital technology has generated new forms of wealth known as digital assets, which possess economic value and can be inherited such as cryptocurrency wallets, monetized accounts, and cloud-based data. However, the legal system in Indonesia, both in Islamic law and in national positive law, has yet to explicitly regulate the inheritance mechanisms of these digital forms of property. This paper addresses the central issue of how digital assets are positioned within inheritance law from the perspectives of Islamic jurisprudence and Indonesian positive law, and how the absence of legal regulation affects legal certainty and the protection of heirs. This research employs a qualitative methodology with a normative and conceptual approach, incorporating the study of classical Islamic legal texts, national legislation, and global digital platform policies. The findings indicate that digital assets can be classified as māl mutaqawwim, lawfully inheritable wealth based on the objectives of Islamic law (maqāṣid al-syarīʿah), particularly within the framework of ḥifẓ al-māl (protection of property). Nonetheless, the absence of technical provisions in the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), the Civil Code, and the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE Law) creates legal uncertainty, impeding access and execution of digital inheritance by heirs. Therefore, a responsive and adaptive legal formulation is urgently needed to ensure justice and legal certainty in the inheritance of digital assets
Elements of Islamic Law in Traditional Banjar Marriage "Jujuran" Viewed from a Historical Perspective
This study examines the jujuran tradition in Banjar society, a cultural practice where the groom's family provides monetary or material gifts to the bride's family during marriage rituals. Rooted in pre-Islamic customs, jujuran persists due to its alignment with Islamic principles when practiced as a cultural tradition. Using qualitative methods, including literature review and field observations, the study highlights jujuran as a symbol of respect, wedding support, and social prestige, distinct from mahr in Islamic law. The findings underscore the significance of jujuran in fostering family bonds and preserving cultural identity amidst modern social dynamics

The Effect of Emotional Narratives on Instagram Reels on Student Enrollment Interest with Audience Engagement as a Mediator
Schools increasingly use Instagram Reels as a promotional medium to build emotional closeness with prospective students. Researchers believe emotional narratives increase enrollment interest, but audience engagement plays a key role in mediating this effect. This study used a quantitative survey method on 141 students at SMKN 1 Ponorogo. The instrument consisted of a 4-point Likert scale questionnaire, tested for validity and reliability using SmartPLS 3.0. Researchers analyzed data using PLS-SEM to examine direct, indirect, and mediating effects. The results showed that emotional narratives significantly influenced audience engagement (β = 0.647; p = 0.000), and audience engagement significantly influenced registration interest (β = 0.594; p = 0.000). The direct effect of emotional narratives on registration interest is positive but insignificant (β = 0.166; p = 0.121). This study found a full mediating effect with a significant indirect influence (β = 0.384; p = 0.000). The R² values of 0.418 for audience engagement and 0.508 for enrollment interest indicate a moderate contribution of the model. These findings confirm that emotional narratives are compelling only when accompanied by strategies encouraging active audience interaction, increasing the likelihood of prospective students enrolling
ISLAMIC CHARACTER EDUCATION IN INDONESIAN NATIONAL CURRICULA: A CRITICAL POLICY ANALYSIS OF THE 2013 AND MERDEKA FRAMEWORKS
Character education has been a national agenda in Indonesia since the early 2010s. It was formally integrated into the 2013 Curriculum and further strengthened through the Merdeka Curriculum, which was launched in 2022. This study aims to examine how character education is conceptualized and implemented within these two curricula, particularly through the lens of Islamic religious education. Using a qualitative content analysis approach, the study analyzes key policy documents issued by the Ministry of Education, including competency standards, learning outcomes, and the Pancasila Student Profile. The analysis reveals that both curricula explicitly emphasize core values such as faith, discipline, nationalism, integrity, and critical thinking as integral components of students' character formation. These values are embedded within the formulation of core competencies and learning indicators across various subjects. However, pedagogical implementation guidelines remain limited and normative, often relying on broad and vague terms like “value internalization,” without being supported by concrete and contextual teaching strategies. Furthermore, both curricula tend to adopt a top-down and moralistic tone, providing limited space for dialogic, reflective, or participatory approaches. In addition, teachers are burdened with numerous administrative tasks, which reduces their time and focus on developing students’ character in an optimal way. The study concludes that in order to achieve effective character education within Indonesia’s diverse context, clearer, more inclusive pedagogical strategies rooted in critical student engagement are needed. The findings also imply the necessity for teacher training and curriculum development that are more responsive to social realities and students' needs

Scientific Argumentation in Chemistry Education: A Literature Review of Practices, Challenges, And Solutions
This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) on students' scientific argumentation skills in chemistry education, focusing on practices, challenges, and potential solutions. Articles selected were sourced from the Scopus database using Publish or Perish (PoP) and published within the period of 2015-2024. Some of the notable issues identified in this review relate specifically to limited teacher preparation and low student engagement, which hinder the development of argumentation skills. Effective instructional models, strategies, and media that promote argument-driven learning are crucial according to these findings. Also, enhancing these specific skills requires targeted teacher training, curriculum integration of argumentative practices, and supportive classroom environments that cultivate inquiry-based learning and critical thinking. Generally, it sheds light on the importance of valid assessment tools to evaluate students' argumentation skills. Thus, strengthening these skills is essential for classroom members. Not only for acquiring a better understanding of chemical concepts but also for promoting scientific literacy as well as informed decision-making in broader societal contexts
