Improving Outpatient Service Quality at Urip Sumoharjo Hospital in Bandar Lampung: A Service Quality and Management Approach using Service Blueprint
Service quality is crucial in healthcare settings, impacting both patient satisfaction and hospital performance. At Urip Sumoharjo Hospital in Bandar Lampung, operational challenges such as long waiting times, inefficient queuing systems, and coordination issues have hindered the quality of outpatient services. This study aims to analyze the outpatient service process using a Service Quality Management approach, employing the service blueprinting technique to identify fail points and design service process improvements that better respond to patient needs. The research applies a qualitative exploratory method, using data collection techniques such as direct observation, in-depth interviews, and document review. The findings indicate several service weaknesses, including long waiting times, a non-integrated queuing system, limited waiting areas, and insufficient interdepartmental coordination. By applying service blueprinting and process redesign, the study proposes several improvements, including strengthening the hospital information system, implementing an appointment-based flow, and enhancing frontliner competencies to deliver faster, more accurate, and empathetic services. Key issues such as long wait times, fragmented patient flows, and poor communication are explored, and strategic solutions, including digital registration systems, real-time queuing, and enhanced frontliner training, are recommended. The study emphasizes how improving service quality through these management interventions can enhance hospital efficiency, patient satisfaction, and long-term sustainability. The findings contribute to the growing body of knowledge on service management in healthcare systems, specifically in the context of private hospitals in Indonesia

Coding for Young Learners: Enhancing Computational Thinking and Creativity in Elementary Education
Coding skills have become essential for young learners to develop computational thinking and creativity. This study explores the implementation of coding education to enhance computational thinking among elementary school students, particularly at SD Negeri 21 Dauh Puri Denpasar, where technological access is limited. A case study approach was applied with 28 fifth-grade students. Data were collected through observations, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. Findings revealed increased computational thinking scores from 56.3 to 74.8 after Scratch-based coding lessons. Significant improvements were observed in decomposition, pattern recognition, and algorithmic thinking, although abstraction remained challenging. Students demonstrated high enthusiasm, especially in creating animations and games. However, limited infrastructure and insufficient teacher training hindered optimal implementation. The study concludes that coding education can foster students' critical thinking and creativity but must be supported by structured teacher training and adequate technological resources. It recommends developing innovative and sustainable learning strategies to make coding an integral part of the elementary education curriculum in Indonesia
The Usury-Free Social Movement and the Transformation of Islamic Economics: A Case Study of the Interest-Free Community in South Kalimantan
The widespread practice of riba (usury) through conventional financial systems—such as interest-based loans and consumer financing—has triggered a crisis of trust among Indonesian Muslims. This study aims to analyze the Masyarakat Tanpa Riba (MTR, or Society Without Usury) movement in South Kalimantan as a form of resistance against usurious systems and as an effort to build an economy based on Islamic values. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis. The findings reveal that MTR fosters anti-riba awareness through a combination of scriptural (naqli) references, spiritual reflection, and systematic educational methods. Its core strategies include tiered seminars, commitment reinforcement through the Ultimate Life Changing (ULC) sessions, and the cultivation of group solidarity via emotionally charged forums such as What I Feel Like Expression (WIFLE). The community reinterprets riba practices in contexts such as leasing, mortgages, and pilgrimage financing with a literalist reading of Islamic texts. The MTR movement not only provides practical solutions to debt crises but also enables lifestyle transformation and shifts in business practices among its members. This study highlights how religious values can serve as a catalyst for community-driven economic transformation and ethical reform.
Strategi utama mereka meliputi seminar berjenjang, penguatan komitmen melalui forum ULC (Ultimate Life Changing), serta pembentukan solidaritas melalui ekspresi emosional kolektif seperti sesi What I Feel Like Expression (WIFLE).
