Implementasi Ketahanan Pangan Urban Farming dengan Penanaman Ubi Jalar dalam Karung
This study explores the implementation of urban farming techniques such as vertical gardening, hydroponics, tabulapot, and the cultivation of food plants in sacks and planters in urban areas. With a focus on household food security, sweet potato was selected as the crop due to its ease of growth and adaptability to various environmental conditions. Additionally, sweet potatoes can be successfully cultivated in sacks. The yield includes both tubers and leaves, which can be consumed as healthy vegetables. The primary objective of this research was to analyze the productivity of sweet potatoe s grown in sacks, and to examine the relationship between harvest variables and yield prediction. An experimental and descriptive research methodology was employed. Regression correlation analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between the number of tubers and the total weight per sack, as well as to estimate the potential yield. The results indicated a sweet potato productivity of 1.4 kg per 40 kg sack, with 10 cuttings per sack. A strong positive correlation of 96.77% was found between the number of tubers and the total tuber weight per sack, represented by the regression equation y= 71.069x-878.93. Similarly, a strong positive correlation of 83.05% existed between the number of tubers and the weight of each tuber, suggesting that an increasednumber of tubers did not decrease the weight of individual tubers, as shown by the regression equation y=1.6985x -9.87. If a household has 10 sacks, the potential yield would be 14,000 grams or 14 kg of sweet potatoes, providing a valuable source of healthy vegetables for the family
Uji Kuat Tekan Mortar Dengan Substitusi Abu Batu Moramo Pada Campuran Mortar Pasir Halus Sabulakoa: Compressive Strength Test Of Mortar With Moramo Stone Ash Substitution In Sabulakoa Fine Sand Mortar Mixture
Mortar mixture is an important element in civil/construction work. As a binding agent, mortar mixtures are widely used in various types of work with different strength levels according to their needs. Many sand raw materials are often used but do not meet the material requirements, either grain gradation or other requirements. In this research, a compressive strength test was carried out using fine sand with the addition of stone ash, to test how much strength was achieved with varying percentages of additional stone ash. The manufacture of test specimens for this mortar mixture refers to SNI 03-6882-2002. Testing was carried out at 7 days, 14 days and 28 days. With additional variations of 0%, 20%, 40% and 60% stone ash. The results of this research are mortar mixtures with the addition of 20% stone ash will increase the compressive strength from 4.74 MPa without the addition of stone ash to 7.13 MPa, tending to decrease at an additional 40% the compressive strength is 6.96 MPa and at an additional 60% the strength is obtained. press 5.74Mpa. The simple regression equation for the relationship between the addition of the percentage of stone ash (variable x) and the compressive strength value (variable y) is y = -22.578x2 + 14.97x + 4.8122 with the coefficient of determination R2 = 0.97 (very strong)
The Influence of Local Wisdom Bapukung on Productivity and Role Balance of Housewives
Balancing caregiving duties with multiple responbilities is a persistent challenge for housewives, particularly those managing micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). Bapukung, a traditional swaddling practice from South Kalimantan, offers a potential solution by improving infant sleep quality and providing mothers with uninterrupted time to manage household and business tasks. This study investigates the influence of Bapukung on the productivity and role balance of housewives using a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). Data were collected from 30 respondents in South Kalimantan through structured questionnaires. Results reveal that Bapukung significantly influences both productivity (β = 0.816, p < 0.05) and role balance (β = 0.787, p < 0.05). These findings align with the Resource-Based View (RBV) and Balanced Scorecard frameworks, demonstrating how cultural practices can serve as strategic resources to enhance time management and efficiency. The study contributes to the integration of local wisdom into modern management theories, offering practical implications for family welfare programs and entrepreneurship training. Future research should explore the scalability of Bapukung across diverse cultural contexts and its long-term influence on family dynamics and maternal well-being
Analisis Keterampilan Proses Sains pada Mata Kuliah Pendidikan IPA: Analysis of Science Process Skills in Science Education Subjects
Science process skills are an inseparable part of science learning. Basic science skills are the foundation for practicing more complex integrated skills. Science process skills are part of the nature of science as a process. Science process skills are essential for prospective teachers in elementary schools because there are science subjects, so science learning is by the nature of science itself. Based on observations in science education courses, it appears that prospective PGSD teachers are still not skilled in KPS. Prospective teachers who are equipped with teaching skills and other skills in learning science will determine how teachers teach science by the nature of science. This study aims to analyze the science process skills of PGSD students at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education who are taking the Science Education course in the even semester of 2023/2024. The method used in this study is a qualitative method with data collection techniques through Observation, and data analysis using qualitative descriptive. The results of the research show that the dominant science process skills of prospective elementary school teachers can be implemented, namely the skills of observing, classifying, and measuring, while the skills of predicting, communicating, and concluding still need to be trained. It is hoped that prospective teachers who are equipped with good process skills will have an impact on mastering science concepts in their learning so that they can encourage their students' critical thinking and creative writing abilities

Pejagan Village in Bangkalan Regency, East Java, has a population of around 6,500 people with the majority working in the agriculture and fisheries sectors, supported by the Mutiara Laut Cooperative which provides economic services. The village community has local natural potential such as korkor clams and scallops. So far, clam meat has been sold to restaurants outside Madura to improve the family economy, but the shells often become waste due to a lack of processing knowledge. Shell waste is scattered on the side of residents' houses or the side of village roads and gives an unpleasant aroma to the surrounding community. This community service activity was carried out to educate residents about the benefits of shell waste in calcium-rich flour using counseling methods, leaflets, questions and answers, and evaluation using questionnaires. Respondents who are residents around the Mutiara Laut Cooperative are women, most of whom are wives of local fishermen, invited to be given increased knowledge and changes in attitudes toward the use of shell waste
