No full textThe geographical conditions of the Sungai Tabuk sub-district located in the Martapura river basin and has limited capacity make this area prone to flooding. However, the people in the area still choose to survive by applying local wisdom in dealing with flooding. The purpose of this study is to describe local wisdom in flood disaster mitigation in Sungai Tabuk sub-district. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques used were from observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in this study included stages in data reduction, data presentation, conclusion, and verification. In the validity test, this study used data triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. From the research that has been conducted, the results of flood disaster mitigation carried out in Sungai Tabuk sub-district include: 1) pre-disaster there is early warning and building flood-resistant houses, 2) disaster response the community makes ampar-ampar, assistance from Karang Taruna, 3) post-disaster the community carries out the tradition of cooperation

No full textIn the current political stage phenomenon, not only men but also women are actively involved in politics in contributing to the state. The purpose of the study is to reveal the extent of the contribution of political women in the world of parliament or the executive from the perspective of political communication and culture that is developing in South Kalimantan society. This study uses a qualitative research method in the form of collecting field data, namely observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The library data is taken from research article data through the same research journal in the form of other writings, namely reference books, monographs, books, media coverage, and textbooks as sources. The study found that the contribution of political women in the state of South Kalimantan in terms of political communication and culture is to give birth to political work and involvement in the cultural approach of the community to be able to approach constituents during the campaign-elected to produce policies. In voicing aspirations in the parliamentary chamber for 4 female legislators in this study, including being able to implement programs during the campaign. Along with that, the mission of the Regent of Barito Kuala as the first regional head executor in South Kalimantan when leading Barito Kuala Regency was able to answer his mission well. Thus, political women entering the world of politics is proof of the political work that has been done by these 5 female politicians in front of the public
Lamut Sebagai Puisi Rakyat: Kajian Etnopedagogi: Lamut as Folk Poetry: An Ethnopedagogical Study
No full textLamut is part of folk poetry among the Banjar people. The preservation of folk poetry is its transmission orally or by word of mouth. Lamut is also a tradition that must be preserved because its existence is almost extinct. This research aims to study the Lamut Koran as a form of teaching material that can be taught to students. Students are the right target to be invited to preserve Lamut because students are educated and must maintain traditions and culture. This research is a type of library research with a descriptive form of analysis. Library research is carried out by researchers by collecting data, recording, and processing the data so that results are found that are adapted to the theories used. The analysis technique used is content to identify data from a collection. The results of this research are that Lamut can be a mantra because it has mystical value, Lamut can be used as a poem because it tells a historical story, and Lamut can be used to convey a rhyme. This research also produces values found in lamut as folk poetry. These values include cultural values, social values, and religious values. This research also invites educators to use Lamut as teaching material for Indonesian language material at the SMP/MTs level. The use of Lamut as a form of folk poetry is a form of ethnopedagogical theory study. Ethnopedagogy is a learning model that emphasizes local wisdom values by using ethnicity as a teaching and learning process

No full textThe community empowerment program based on Nile tilapia cultivation using the biostimulant RAS system was expected to enhance their economic independence. The main challenges included limited access to information, education, and technology, as well as a lack of support in business management. The program aimed to address these issues and provide a positive impact on the welfare of the disability community. The activity titled 'Productive Efforts for Sensory (Hearing Impairment/Deafness) and Physical Disabilities through Nile Tilapia Cultivation Using a Circular Biostimulant RAS System in the Teras Inklusi Community' was conducted using a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach. The installation of the circular RAS (Recirculating Aquaculture System) ponds in the field proceeded as planned, with all system components, such as the circular ponds, filtration system, and water distribution pipes, installed correctly and functioning properly. During the installation process, coordination between the PKM team and partners was effective, resulting in no significant obstacles. The training activity successfully enhanced the participants' understanding and competencies significantly. Evaluation results showed an increase in the number of participants categorized as Good from 25% in the pre-test to 85% in the post-test. Furthermore, no participants were in the Poor category after the training
Pelatihan Membaca sebagai Upaya Meningkatkan Literasi Anak Nelayan: Reading Training as an Effort to Literacy of Fisherman’s Children
No full textEarly childhood and elementary school reading training is essential in forming a literacy foundation for children. This training activity aims to improve children's reading literacy in Tanjung Pasir Tarakan Village, North Kalimantan. The training methods used are demonstration and training. The training activities are designed through creative and interactive activities to stimulate children in reading activities and help them understand their meaning. The stages of this training activity consist of the initial stage, the implementation stage, and the final stage. The initial stage is a form of planning before the reading training is carried out; the implementation stage is the process of reading training activities. Activities include demonstrations and direct practice of reading with media through picture stories, letter recognition, and short stories. The final stage is to monitor and evaluate the implementation of the activities that have been carried out. The results of the implementation of this activity show that the fishermen's children are very enthusiastic about participating in the reading training. Children show a significant increase in interest in reading activities; children can already recognize letters, their vocabulary increases, they can read simple words, and they can already read short stories (for lower-grade children). This training shows the good impact of this reading training program on children's reading abilities. This training is an early milestone for the development of children's literacy

No full textThis community service activity aims to enhance digital literacy among the youth of Hasanuddin Madjedi Mosque in Banjarmasin, focusing on preventing cyberbullying and Online Gender-Based Violence (OGBV). Initial observations revealed that 95% of the mosque's youth use digital media but lack a comprehensive understanding of the negative impacts of harmful content, particularly related to cyberbullying and OGBV. The activity was conducted through a series of socialization and training sessions involving 40 youth participants. The methods included education, training on creating positive content, the application of technology utilizing digital platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, as well as post-activity mentoring and evaluation. The results demonstrated a significant improvement in participants' understanding of the dangers of cyberbullying and OGBV, along with their skills in producing positive digital content. This program is expected to serve as a model for digital literacy programs for other community groups, involving local communities and educational institutions

No full textThe geographical location of SD Muhammadiyah 9 Kenjeran Surabaya is on the coast which makes it face the risk of flooding and serious environmental health challenges, which require further intervention. The rampant dumping of rubbish in the surrounding environment makes the school feel anxious because it could result in flood disasters and environmental damage, as well as a decline in the community's health status. This service aims to provide counseling and outreach to students using the VR-DISASTER learning media at SD Muhammadiyah 9 Bahari Kenjeran Surabaya. Methods for implementing activities, in the form of lectures, discussions, and practice. This 1-day training was effective in increasing knowledge and changing participants' attitudes. Proven by the Pre-test results show that the majority of students have a low level of knowledge, both regarding environmental health (68.57%) and disaster mitigation (91.43%). However, after being provided with counseling and socialization using VR-DISASTER, the post-test results showed a significant increase with 100% of students having high knowledge about environmental health and 82.86% of students with a level of disaster mitigation knowledge which also increased. Thus, it is hoped that the level of knowledge possessed by students can increase awareness and preparedness for disasters that could occur at SD Muhammadiyah 9 Bahari Surabaya

No full textThe high potential of hydrometeorological disasters threatens the livelihoods of the community, especially the people of Tumbang Tahai Village, Socialization of hydrometeorological disaster mitigation aims to increase public awareness of the potential of hydrometeorological disasters that threaten people's lives. Data logger and Android mobile is a system that utilizes ultrasonic waves to determine the height or distance of water from the ground. The method carried out by socialization introduces as well as utilizes the data logger system and Android mobile as a basis for hydrometeorological disaster mitigation. The findings of the hydrometeorological disaster mitigation socialization activities revealed that the community tends not to know about Hydrometeorological disaster mitigation. Training and mentoring are carried out by the community service team to the Tumbang Tahai community through hydrometeorological disaster mitigation based on data loggers and android mobile can provide maximum benefits for the people of Tumbang Tahai Village

No full textPembelajaran abad-21 berfokus pada student center dengan tujuan untuk memberikan peserta didik keterampilan. Mengasah keterampilan siswa dapat dilakukan oleh pendidik melalui pembiasaan diri yang positif dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan integrasi pembelajaran sosial emosional dalam mata pelajaran ipa sebagai upaya peningkatan keterampilan berkolaborasi. Metode penelitian adalah metode library research, peneliti menggunakan buku-buku ataupun jurnal dan hasil penelitian sebagai bahan referensi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pembelajaran soisal emosional (kesadaran diri, pengelolaan diri kesadaran sosial, keterampilan membangun relasi dan pengambilan keputusan yang bertanggung jawab) dalam pembelajaran IPA dapat meningkatkan keterampilan berkolaborasi siswa SD melalui penerapan model pembelajaran TGT, penyelidikan kelompok, dan model diccovery learning. Keteranpilan kolaborasi membantu peserta didik berinteraksi dan saling berkontribusi secara aktif, bekerja secara produktif, fleksibel, mampu bertanggung jawab, dan menghargai perbedaan yang ada sebagai bekal menghadapi era globalisasi abad ini. Keterampilan berkolaborasi juga dapat meningkatkan penguasaan konsep peserta didik yang membantu mereka dalam mencapai hasil belajar lebih baik
