Identifikasi Penyakit pada Tanaman Padi Menggunakan Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)
Penurunan hasil panen padi sering kali disebabkan oleh serangan penyakit pada tanaman padi. Identifikasi dini terhadap penyakit padi menjadi langkah penting untuk mengurangi dampak kerugian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis metode Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) yang dapat mendeteksi penyakit pada tanaman padi dengan memanfaatkan dataset dari Roboflow yang berisi 11.110 gambar. Model yang digunakan adalah Rice Plant Leaf Disease Classification, yang telah dilatih menggunakan dataset tersebut. Aplikasi ini dirancang agar petani dapat dengan mudah mengunggah gambar daun padi untuk mendapatkan diagnosis penyakit secara cepat dan akurat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa model CNN yang digunakan mampu mencapai akurasi tinggi dalam mengidentifikasi penyakit padi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi praktis bagi petani untuk mengelola dan mencegah penyakit padi, sehingga meningkatkan produktivitas hasil panen. 
The Impact of Mind Mapping on Science Learning on Student Learning Outcomes
Background: Science learning in schools has long focused predominantly on products such as facts, laws, and theories, with limited attention to processes and attitudes. This approach often results in students struggling to understand concepts and apply them in real-life contexts. In response, Aim: this study aims to examine the application of the Mind Mapping strategy in science learning to improve students’ cognitive and affective outcomes, particularly on the topic of ecosystems. Method: The research employed a descriptive qualitative method involving 27 seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri Satap 8 Bulik in the 2023/2024 academic year. Data were collected through pre-tests, learning activities, post-tests, and interviews with teachers and students, and analyzed through data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. Results and discussions: The results showed that learning management using the Mind Mapping strategy was well executed, supported by validated learning tools. Cognitive outcomes achieved 100% classical mastery, while affective outcomes reached 80.6%, slightly below the Merdeka Curriculum target. Students responded very positively, with the majority perceiving Mind Mapping as enhancing creativity, focus, and material retention. However, challenges included limited time allocation and difficulty in translating ideas into visual form. Conclusion: Overall, the implementation of Mind Mapping positively influenced students’ engagement and learning outcomes, demonstrating its potential as an effective approach to science instruction
Pengaruh Pupuk Hayati Fumyco Terhadap Pertumbuhan Anakan Pulai Rawa (Alstonia pneumatophora Backer) di Green House
The cultivation of Swamp Island in peatlands has been widely carried out by communities in Central Kalimantan Province, but it often fails due to various factors, such as land fires and unfavourable environmental conditions. One way to increase the growth of swamp pulai saplings is the use of Fumyco biofertilizer. This study aims to analyse the growth of swamp island saplings. This research was carried out for 3 months from October to December 2024. The research location is in the Green House, Department of Forestry, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Palangka Raya. The research materials and methods used are in the form of measuring bars, polybags, sprinklers, digital cameras and tally sheets. The materials used are peat soil, swamp saplings and Fumyco biofertilizer. Data analysis includes percentage of survival, plant height (cm) and number of leaves. This study used RAL with 5 (five) Fumyco treatments: Control (P0), (P1) 2 grams, (P2) 4 grams, (P3) 6 grams, (P4) 8 grams and (P5) 10 grams. The results showed that the percentage of swamp island saplings in the 10 gram Fumyco treatment had a value of 88.89%, followed by the 2 gram Fumyco treatment of 77.78%, the treatment of 4 grams, 6 grams and 8 grams of 66.67%, while the control treatment was 66.67%. The results of the analysis of Fumyco biofertilizer application on the height and number of leaves of swamp island plants showed no significant difference. This is suspected because the observation time is only 3 months, but visually in the field the treatment has better growth compared to Control
Optimalisasi Kesadaran Masyarakat terhadap Pinjaman dan Alokasi Investasi untuk Pendidikan Anak: Upaya Peningkatan Literasi Keuangan: Optimization of Community Awareness on Loans and Investment Allocation for Children's Education: Efforts to Improve Financial Literacy
Improving community financial literacy, especially related to online loans and children's education planning, is an important step to overcome economic challenges in Pedurungan Lor Village. The low level of community understanding of the risks of online loans and the lack of educational investment planning often become barriers to wise financial management. This study aims to improve community financial literacy through an interactive educational workshop. With a quantitative and qualitative approach, this activity includes a pre-test and post-test to measure changes in community understanding, as well as lecture and discussion sessions to provide practical insights. The results showed a significant increase in community awareness of the risks of online loans and the importance of educational investment. The average score of awareness of online loans increased from 2.6 (less agree) in the pre-test to 4 (agree) in the post-test. Community understanding of educational investment also increased, as indicated by the average score changing from 3 (less agree) to 4 (agree). This workshop succeeded in providing concrete solutions and financial management strategies that can be applied to support child education in poverty. In conclusion, community-based financial literacy education is effective in improving community understanding and empowering them to make wiser financial decisions. Similar activities with a sustainable approach and use of digital media are recommended to reach more participants and deepen community understanding
Pelatihan Budidaya Cabai Rawit untuk Kebutuhan Rumah Tangga di Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah: Training of Cayenne Pepper Cultivation for Household Needs in Central Kalimantan Province
Cayenne pepper cultivation training to household needs is a collaboration between the Agrotechnology study program, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Palangka Raya with the Indonesian Phytopathology Association, Regional of Central Kalimantan, which has been carried out from April to December 2024 in the city of Palangka Raya and Bukit Bamba Village. The training was in counseling and also cultivation guidance through field visits for people who received chili seeds. Eighty percent of the plants distributed grew well, where 40% of the fruit could be consumed for household needs, and the cause of the failure of the chili harvest was that the plants were stolen, there were pest and disease attacks, and lack of patience or lack of interest in caring for the plants. The average successful chili harvest production per harvest per tree per week was 39 grams. This activity not only includes the distribution of cayenne pepper seeds, but also has a positive impact on the community. From the data obtained, as many as 82.14% of chili plants grew well, while 17.86% were lost, either due to theft or pest and disease attacks. The first harvest showed that 78.26% of the harvested chilies had been used for household needs, while the remaining 21.74% were still waiting for the harvest period. In terms of production, the average harvest per tree reached 39 grams, with the lowest yield of 18 grams and the highest of 66 grams. This achievement shows the great potential of cayenne pepper cultivation in increasing food security
Optimalisasi Kesehatan Mental Siswa: Inisiatif Sosialisasi dan Pendampingan di SMA Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya
Program pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi kesehatan mental siswa SMA Muhammadiyah Palangka Raya melalui intervensi berbasis sekolah. Latar belakang didasarkan pada laporan I-NAMHS (2022) yang menunjukkan 34,9% remaja Indonesia mengalami masalah kesehatan mental, dengan hanya 2,6% yang mengakses layanan. Metode yang digunakan meliputi: (1) workshop interaktif selama dua hari dengan pendekatan partisipatif, dan (2) aplikasi digital berbasis soal psikologis dengan umpan balik instan. Partisipan terdiri dari 60 siswa yang dipilih secara acak. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan kesehatan mental sebesar 38% secara rata-rata, dengan capaian tertinggi pada pemahaman dasar (39%). Intervensi digital mendapat respons positif (85% siswa menyatakan materi mudah dipahami), meskipun 28% mengalami kendala akses internet. Program ini membuktikan efektivitas pendekatan multimodal dalam meningkatkan literasi kesehatan mental remaja, dengan rekomendasi pengembangan modul offline untuk menjangkau siswa dengan keterbatasan infrastruktur
Analisis Penelitian Rute Transportasi Darat Balikpapan-Samarinda: Analysis Of Land Transportation Route Choice Balikpapan-Samarinda
The existence of one of the transportation infrastructure in Indonesia, namely the Balikpapan-Samarinda Toll Road, can be traveled by one route through Soekarno-Hatta National Road with a distance of 114 km, while after the realization of the Balikpapan-Samarinda toll road, it can be reached with a distance of 97.99 km with a travel time of only 1 hour 12 minutes and with a tariff of Rp. 146,500 for class 1 (one) vehicles through the Manggar toll gate to Mahkota Bridge 2 (PTJBS, 2021). With the addition of one traffic route from Balikpapan City to Samarinda City or vice versa, of course travelers can choose a travel route that can reduce distance. However, not all passengers choose the same route, many factors can influence the route choice by passengers. This research is conducted by interviewing route users and obtaining travel characteristics and route selection model with attributes of travel cost, and travel time. From the regression results, the travel cost utility equation Ujt - Ujn = 0.00002 (X1) - 3.2886 and the travel time utility equation Ujt - Ujn = 0.0876 (X2) - 2.9795. Both attributes produce a min (-) utility function model, which means that the smaller the difference in travel costs and times, the greater the potential for route users to move from Jl. Evaluasi Kinerja Dinding Penahan Tanah (Retaining Wall) Pada Proyek Pembangunan Drainase Mendawai: Performance Evaluation Of Retaining Walls On The Mendawai Drainage Development Project
The issue concerning the retaining wall revolves around the potential risk of landslides triggered by soil displacement, primarily observed in the main drainage channel within Mendawai's trading district. Despite the installation of retaining walls along the channel, persistent issues have led to structural failure or even collapse. In response to this challenge, researchers aim to investigate the impact of retaining wall usage on slope stability in the construction project of drainage channels in Mendawai, Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan. This study will utilize manual calculation methods alongside analysis using geotechnical software, specifically Plaxis 8.6. Analysis of manual calculations reveals a significant discrepancy in safety factors. Manual calculations yield a slope stability value of 1.463 and a shear stability value of 0.834, both falling below the safety standard of 1.5. Meanwhile, Plaxis 8.6 analysis indicates a retaining wall bearing capacity value of 1.599, also below the safety standard set at 3. This indicates that the retaining wall experiences failure and fails to meet the anticipated safety standards
Review Implikasi Penggunaan Metode Pengeringan Vacuum Frying Pada Peningkatan Nilai Tambah Komoditas Buah dan Sayur
Vacuum frying is a promising food processing technology to increase the added value of fruit and vegetable crops. This technology involves frying at low pressure and lower temperatures compared to conventional frying. This article discusses the implications of using vacuum frying in increasing the added value of fruit and vegetable crops. The literature study method used is literature analysis from various related journals published in 2020 to 2024. The results of the literature study show that vacuum frying has several advantages over conventional frying, including: (1) producing products with lower oil content, (2) maintaining the original color, aroma, and taste of food ingredients, (3) maintaining nutritional content, (4) reducing oil absorption, and (5) produces a crispier texture. Vacuum frying has been successfully applied to various fruit and vegetable commodities, such as banana, jackfruit, mango, papaya, orange, salak, apple, yam, potato, mushroom, and asparagus. Literature studies show that vacuum frying can improve the quality of processed products, both in terms of nutrition, sensory, and shelf life. This technology also provides opportunities to develop new innovative and value-added products. This technology not only provides economic benefits for farmers and producers, but also contributes to the provision of healthy and nutritious food for the community. Further research is needed to optimize the use of vacuum frying on various commodities and develop innovative new products
THE EFFECT OF INFOGRAPHICS ON INTEREST AND CREATIVITY IN DESIGNING VOCATIONAL SUBJECTS OF VISUAL COMMUNICATION DESIGN AT STATE VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL 1 GORONTALO
Pengaruh Infografis terhadap minat dankreativitas mendesain pada mata pelajaranKejuruan Desain Komunikasi Visual di SMKN 1 Gorontalo.(di bimbing oleh Dr.Jemmy Pakaja, S. Kom., M. Kom, dan Hermila A., S.SI., M.Pd). Pada mata pelajaranKejuruan Desain Komunikasi Visual kelas XI memiliki tingka t kesulitan tersendiri bagisiswa, terutama pada pokok bahasan desain Infografis , dan menyebabkan Minatdan Kreativitas mendesain siswa masih rendah. Tujuan Penelitian ini untukmengetahui Pengaruh Media Infografis terhadap Minat Belajar dan Kreativitas siswadi SMKN 1 Gorontalo. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif, denganmetode penelitian survei. Jumlah sampel yaitu 47 responden. Teknik analisis yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil uji hipotesismenunjuka n bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan di penelitian PengaruhMedia Infografis terhadap Minat Belajar dan Kreativitas siswa di SMKN 1 Gorontalo.Hasil analisis dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS STATISTIC 21 diperolehhasil yaitu nilai t h itung 5.179 > t tabel 1,679 dan nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05 makadapat disimpulkan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima yaitu variabel MediaInfografis (X) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Minat Belajar (Y1). Hasilanalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS Statistic 21 diperoleh hasil yaitunilai t hitung 2.475 > t tabel 1,679 dan nilai signifikansi 0,017 < 0,05 maka dapatdisimpulkan bahwa hipotesis dalam penelitian ini diterima yaitu variabel MediaInfografis (X) berpengar uh positif dan signifikan Kreativitas siswa (Y2)
