Pengaruh Penerapan Media Pembelajaran Interaktif Berbantu Assemblr Edu terhadap Hasil Belajar Aspek Kognitif pada Siswa Kelas IV MIS NU Palangka Raya: Effect of Implementing Interactive Learning Media Assisted by Assemblr Edu on Cognitive Aspect Learning Outcomes in Grade IV Students of MIS NU Palangka Raya
This study is based on the fact that the cognitive learning outcomes of fourth-grade students of MIS NU Palangka Raya in the subject of Science are still relatively low, especially the material "My Indonesia is Rich in Culture" related to local culture. This study aims to determine the effect of interactive learning media assisted by Assemblr Edu on the cognitive learning outcomes of MIS NU Palangka Raya fourth-grade students. A quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design was used in this study. The research subjects were 30 fourth-grade students of MIS NU Palangka Raya. The instruments used included multiple-choice tests, observation sheets, and documentation. The analysis results showed an increase in the average score from 47.00 in the pretest to 78.50 in the posttest. The Paired Sample t-Test obtained a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05), indicating a significant effect after implementing the media. In addition, the observation results showed that the implementation of the use of the media reached 93.75% in the first meeting and 95% in the second meeting, reflecting the active involvement of students in learning. Thus, the Assemblr Edu media influences students' cognitive learning outcomes in local culture-based science learning
Peningkatan Keterampilan Guru Biologi SMA Kota Palangka Raya melalui Pelatihan Pembuatan Preparat Histologi Jaringan: Improving the Skills of High School Biology Teachers in Palangka Raya City through Training in Making Tissue Histology Preparations
Tissue histology preparations are the gold standard for determining the pathological state and changes in cells or tissues. Basic tissue histology preparation knowledge is essential for correctly applying tissue processing steps in the histology laboratory. Teachers' skills in making histology preparations need to be improved. The participants in this activity were 12 high school biology teachers in Palangka Raya City who were members of the MGMP Biology Teacher. This activity aims to improve the skills of high school Biology teachers through training in making tissue histology preparations, and it is hoped that this training can provide solutions to Biology practicum in schools, which are certainly packaged to be more interesting, with the advantage that these preparations can be stored and used for an extended period. This activity was carried out at the 2nd Floor Laboratory of the PPIIG Building, Universitas Palangka Raya, in November 2023. The implementation method is training biology teachers to prepare tissue histology. The training began with the delivery of material, followed by discussion, pre-test, training, post-test, and participant testimonials. The results of the post-test assessment showed a significant increase after this training, so it can be concluded that there was an increase in participants' knowledge in making tissue histology preparations
Miskonsepsi Bilangan Eksponen pada Mahasiswa PGSD
Terdapat miskonsepsi Mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal eksponen. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis jenis miskonsepsi dan penyebab serta solusi dalam mengerjakan soal-soal eksponen dan logaritma. Subyek penelitian adalah 25 siswa di Universitas Swasta di Palangka Raya, Kalimantan Tengah, yang mengerjakan 3 soal materi eksponen. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kualitati.. Pengumpulan data penelitian melalui tes soal. Teknik analisis data yang dilakukan antara lain reduksi data, pengumpulan data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil tes siswa menunjukkan bahwa miskonsepsi mahasiswa dalam menyelesaikan soal eksponen terdiri dari beberapa jenis yaitu kesalahan dalam membaca soal, kesalahan dalam memahami soal, kesalahan dalam melakukan transformasi soal, kesalahan dalam keterampilan proses dan kesalahan dalam penarikan kesimpulan. Adapun penyebab dari miskonsepsi siswa pada materi ekponen yaitu minimnya pengetahuan terhadap konsep eksponen dan minimnya rasa percaya diri dalam menyelesaikan soal eksponen. Selain itu, solusi dari miskonsepsi pada materi eksponen yaitu perlunya waktu belajar yang cukup, pemahaman materi bisa diperdalam melalui kegiatan pembelajaran yang memerlukan keaktifan mahasiswa dalam menemukan sebuah konsep materi tersebut. Kemudian, Dosen juga bisa memberikan lebih banyak latihan soal untuk dikerjakan mahasiswa. Dengan demikian, terciptanya pembelajaran menjadi lebih bermakna, dan ketika diberikan soal, mahasiswa juga dapat menyelesaikan dengan meminimalisir kesalahan-kesalahan
Peran Satuan Brigade Mobil dalam Penanganan Demonstrasi Massa (Studi Kasus: Wilayah Kabupaten Kotawaringin Timur): The Role of the Mobile Brigade Unit in Handling Mass Demonstrations (Case Study: East Kotawaringin Regency)
Mass demonstrations are a form of expressing aspirations that are protected by the constitution in Indonesia. However, these actions often have the potential to disrupt public order, especially if they turn into riots or anarchic actions. The Mobile Brigade Unit (Brimob) of the Indonesian National Police has a strategic role in handling these situations to maintain the stability of security and public order. This study aims to analyze the role of Brimob in handling mass demonstrations, the strategies implemented, and the challenges faced. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive-analytical approach, involving data collection through interviews, observations, and document studies. The results of the study indicate that Brimob plays an important role in controlling the masses, securing vital objects, and taking action against situations that have the potential to be anarchic. The strategies implemented include a preventive approach through intelligence, layered security, and proportional use of force. However, in its implementation, Brimob faces challenges such as mass dynamics, public pressure, limited resources, and coordination between agencies. This study recommends increasing Brimob's training capacity, strengthening operational equipment, and developing a humanistic and collaborative approach to support success in handling mass demonstrations. With these steps, it is hoped that Brimob can carry out its role more effectively, professionally, and in a balanced manner in maintaining security and order amidst the dynamics of society
Kesadaran Nasional Generasi Z: Menjaga Nasionalisme di Era Digital: Generation Z National Awareness: Maintaining Nationalism in the Digital Era
National consciousness is a vital element in shaping the identity and integrity of a nation. Amid the rapid flow of globalization and technological advancements, Generation Z, those born between the mid-1990s and early 2010s, faces unique challenges in upholding national values. This article aims to discuss the real challenges of national consciousness faced by Generation Z in the digital era, while also exploring their potential and opportunities to strengthen nationalism through relevant and contextual approaches. The methodology used in this research is a literature review, which involves collecting data and information from various sources, including academic articles and reference books. A descriptive analytical approach is applied to describe and present the gathered data without drawing definitive conclusions. Through both qualitative and quantitative approaches, this paper examines how Generation Z tends to be more open to global culture, yet still demonstrates a strong sense of patriotism, especially when confronted with issues concerning national sovereignty. However, their understanding of history, national ideology, and national symbols remains limited and in need of improvement. Therefore, an adaptive and creative approach is required, particularly through digital platforms and formal education, to instill national values that align with the unique characteristics of this generation
Peningkatan Pemahaman Penyakit Thalasemia pada Anggota PMR Tingkat Wira di SMA Terpadu Ar-Risalah Cijantung IV Kabupaten Ciamis: Increased Understanding of Thalassemia Disease in PMR Members at the Wira Level at Ar-Risalah Integrated High School Cijantung IV Ciamis Regency
In the last five years, there has been an increase in thalassemia beta major patients in the Ciamis Regency. Thalassemia education and counseling for students is needed because the thalassemia prevention program movement must be carried out to support the emergence of new thalassemia major cases. Palang Merah Remaja (PMR) of Ar-Risalah Ciamis Integrated High School is one of the forums to foster students in developing an attitude of martyrdom. The purpose of this service activity is to train and empower PMR students of Ar-Risalah Ciamis Integrated High School as thalassemia cadres. The method used is the lecture method with ebook media. Participants in this activity were 12 members of the PMR Wira SMA Teradu Ar-Risalah which was held in the classroom of SMA Terpadu Ar-Risalah on September 7, 2023. The instrument used is a questionnaire distributed via Google form during the pre-test and post-test which will then determine the level of knowledge of the participants which will be narrated as an indicator of the success of the activity. The results of this service activity showed an increase in the average value of the participants' post-test of 83%. Educational activities using ebooks can increase participants' understanding of thalassemia
Edukasi Masyarakat Terkait Diabetes Mellitus, Pencegahan, dan Terapi Komplementer dengan Teh Putih (Camellia sinensis L.) dan Probiotik (Lactiplantibacillus plantarum) di Desa Babelan Kota Kabupaten Bekasi: The Health Education Regarding Diabetic Mellitus, Prevention, and Complementer Therapy with White Tea (Camellia sinensis L.) and Probiotic (Lactiplantibacillus plantarum) at Desa Babelan Kota, Bekasi District
The prevalence of Diabetes Mellitus (DM) has consistently increased and is one of the main death issues in the world due to complications. The increase in Diabetes cases in Bekasi Regency was 38% since 2020. Educational programs aim to increase awareness and reduce DM cases in Bekasi Regency. The method was direct (seminar) and indirect (media) and questionnaires to determine knowledge. The total of participants was 22 (male 55% and female 45%), and the largest age group was 46-55 years (54.5%). The average knowledge pre-education (77,3%) and post-education (81,3%) are categorized as “good”. The result of the analysis using T-test sig. value (2-tailed) obtained 0.000 (α<0,005). It was concluded there was an influence on the level of knowledge of participants pre- and post-education
Edukasi Kehamilan Risiko Tinggi melalui Media Permainan Ular Tangga di Kelas Ibu Hamil: High-risk Pregnancy Education through Snakes and Ladders Game in Antenatal Class
One of the action plans for the acceleration of maternal mortality rate reduction is ensuring that every mother can access quality health services. Low maternal knowledge in recognizing obstetric and neonatal danger signs results in late decisions to get medical help. Maternity classes are to provide knowledge to pregnant women and their families. The learning method through the Snakes and Ladders game is expected to increase the active participation of pregnant women and communicate with other pregnant women. This activity was conducted on August 5, 2024, to 15 pregnant women in the Maternal Class in Masaran Village, Sragen Regency. The Snakes and Ladders game requires a banner as a game board, dice, and question cards. Pregnant women's knowledge about high-risk pregnancy was analyzed through pre and post-test questionnaires. Pregnant women looked enthusiastic during the game. Representatives of each group completed the game. Other members got involved by providing answers according to the questions their group got. Some pregnant women asked questions after the game was over. Wilcoxon pre and post-test of the Snakes and Ladders game obtained a value of ρ = 0.001. It is concluded that education through the Snakes and Ladders game is proven to improve pregnant women's knowledge about high-risk pregnancy
Edukasi Kesehatan pada Masyarakat Desa Dorang sebagai Mitigasi Bencana Banjir: Health Education for the Dorang Village Community as Flood Disaster Mitigation
Floods are one of the disasters with the highest incidence in Indonesia. In the last ten years, Dorang Village has experienced five floods. Health problems are one of the most obvious impacts caused by floods. Skin diseases, diarrhea, respiratory tract infections, and fever due to decreased immunity are some of the health problems that often arise in flood disaster conditions. The purpose of this community service is to educate about diseases caused by floods. In addition, identifying the factors cause these diseases to arise and how to prevent them. Increasing knowledge about health problems caused by floods is expected to minimize various health problems that occur in communities affected by floods. This health education activity is divided into three stages, namely the pre-service stage, health education, and activity evaluation. Evaluation of this education activity is carried out using a pre-post test. The pre-post test questions consist of 5 questions about the types, impacts, and how to prevent infectious diseases. In terms of types of contagious diseases, partner knowledge increased by 85% after being given education. The results of this increase also occurred in other aspects, namely the aspects of the impact and control of infectious diseases. Partner knowledge increased to 80% for the aspect of the impact of infectious diseases and increased to 75% for the aspect of managing participant diseases
Edukasi Aplikasi Mobile JKN pada Komunitas PEKKA Kota Pontianak: JKN Mobile Application Education in the PEKKA Community in Pontianak City
Long queues to get health services are still a major obstacle for the community, which is exacerbated by the knowledge gap regarding the use of the Mobile JKN application. Many communities, especially the Women-Headed Household Empowerment (PEKKA) group, do not understand the benefits and how to use this application. This condition has an impact on the low quality of National Health Insurance (JKN) services. This community service activity aims to increase community knowledge and participation in the JKN program through education and practice of using the Mobile JKN application. The method used was lecture and hands-on practice. The material presented included activation procedures, application benefits, available features, and tutorials. The results of the activity showed an increase in the average knowledge of respondents from 55.1 to 77.3 after counseling. Most of the participants also managed to practice the use of the application features correctly. Increased use of this application facilitates and accelerates the health service administration process and increases user satisfaction. Hopefully, this information can be disseminated to the surrounding community so that more people can benefit from the Mobile JKN application
