Additive Cellular Automata Augmented with Deep Learning for Pattern Reorganization
This article also a new approach to classify several problems based on the properties of Additive Cellular Automata. We use a state-transition which consists of a set of disjoint trees rooted at cyclic states of unit cycle length thus forming a natural classifier. The framework proposed is strengthened with genetic algorithm to find the desired local rule of the modeling as a global state function
Site Survey: Industrial Applications of Near Field Communication over Radio Frequency Identification
This research article is about the Near Field Communication (NFC) over RFID. Many rural areas are being surveyed during the research about the application of NFC card. People in these areas are using these cards for transacting money to get water. NFC is the descendant of Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) or we can say that it’s the improvised version of that technology. Technically its working principal is based on RFID; it is almost similar to Bluetooth in applications because it permits communication between two active devices. Now in current time, it has applications mostly in the field of electronic payment without any contact. In this brief content, we discussed the working operation of NFC. Then we have compared both RFID and NFC on the basis of their working and their applications. We added some reference studies depending upon the use of NFC cards in some of mobile phones. Our case study was based on a small scale system; that involves our practically visited and surveyed areas of Jaipur where people are using NFC cards successfully providing specific guidelines

Heat Energy Potential of Value Added Agro-Waste Biomass Fuel
In this work, the use palm oil mill effluent (POME) as a binder in briquetting saw dust was evaluated. The POME is considered a harmful waste for the environment if discharged untreated, because stinks and releases green house gases. The effluent is a thick brownish liquid slush that contains high solids, oil and grease. Saw dusts from wood cutting in wood mills are considered biomass wastes that can be fully utilized as a renewable energy sources. This experiment established the optimum proportion of palm oil sludge as saw dust binder, and determines its calorific value. The palm oil sludge was collected from a palm oil processing cottage industry at Ago Iwoye, Ado-Ekiti. Saw dust sample was collected from Ogo-Oluwa wood mill in Ado-Ekiti. Saw dust and POME were mixed together in varying proportions. The biomass mixture was compacted into annular disc with hydraulic press machine. The properties of the resulting briquette of varying POME weight percent were assessed using standard testing methods. Briquette with appropriate binding and compaction at 80 percent weight POME has 90.21 percentage volatile matter, 6.29% lowest fixed carbon, 3.5% ash content and high heating value at 32948.94 kcal/kg. The burning characteristics indicated that all briquettes had excellent burning characteristics except of course briquette with low POME
The Effect of Grog Sizing on the Performance of Ire Ekiti Fire Clay Refractory Bricks
The effect of grog addition and size on the mechanical properties of ire Ekiti fireclay refractory brick composition has been investigated. Grog addition in the range of 20-60wt% and grain size of is − 3 + 2.3 mm with DTA indicating the endothermic and exothermic temperature for ikere kaolin as 518.8 o C and 986.4 o C and ire ball clay as 513.5 o C and 956.8o C have been added into the brick body composition, wet mixed, shaped, dried, and fired at 1200o C. The results indicated that as percentage grog increased bulk density, compressive strength and thermal shock of fired bricks increased, while water absorption, porosity and volume shrinkage of fired bricks decreased. The firing temperature of 1200o C also influenced the better bonds between the particles which improve the performance of fire clay bricks
Influence of Current Total Harmonic Distortion on Lamp Life
The aspect of current THD has been widely studied and conceived in various lamp drivers. The AC-DC driver circuit of the LEDs available in the market is seldom equipped with input power factor and THD improvement circuitry as prescribed in IEC 61000-3-2. This is essential for maintaining the energy efficiency of the nearest utility services and in addition also improves on the current drawn by the device. The following work envisages these issues and proposes corrective driver circuit based on two different driver topologies, buck-boost topology and fly back topology. Both these topologies are proposed in order to address the aspects of power quality and its impact on the life of the device. It has been observed in most of the cases that the power factor and THD for non linear load like LED lighting deviates drastically from the standard specification. The work deals with the LED drivers that fail to achieve the desired recommendations. It further suggests the improvement circuitry for the same. Secondly the work also envisages the influence of THD on lamp lumen depreciation thus degradation of lamp life. It has been well established that light emitting diode shall invariably replace incandescent lamps and compact fluorescent lamps in smart cities.

A Novel Approach on Image Diversity for Image Authentication
The inefficiency of many image processing techniques to regenerate the original image from the received forged image results in wastage of time and resources for retransmission of image. Therefore a new authentication algorithm is required which is well capable to regenerate the image from its false version received. Such an algorithm is presented in this article that works on the principle of diversity i.e. same data could not get corrupted at same places at the same time. This not only provides integrity but also eliminates the need of retransmission of image and hence, avoids extra burden of the transmitter. This scheme is more suitable in areas where limited resources are available such that retransmission of data multiple times is prohibited. The effectiveness of the proposed scheme is also tested for practical application
