No full textPublikace vychází u příležitosti stého výročí založení Filozofické fakulty Masarykovy univerzity v Brně, jejíž nedílnou součástí byl od samých počátků seminář pro klasická studia. První část přináší pohled na dějiny klasických studií v Brně v širším kontextu historie fakulty a společenského dění vůbec, a to zejména prostřednictvím přímého svědectví archivních pramenů a vzpomínek pamětníků. Druhou část publikace tvoří reedice studie Františka Novotného, prvního ředitele semináře, Gymnasion aneb úvahy o řecké kultuře. Tato studie byla tiskem vydána naposledy v roce 1922. Odbornou i laickou veřejnost seznamuje s pojmy, na nichž, aniž si to uvědomujeme, stojí celá naše civilizace. ,This book is to be published on the occasion of 100th anniversary of the foundation of the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno, of which the Seminary for Classical Studies has been an integral part from the very beginning. The first part of this book offers an overview of the history of the seminary in the wider historical context of whole the faculty and of Czechoslovak society, above all by means of the direct testimony of archive sources and the memories of witnesses. The second part of the book contains a re-edition of an important study by František Novotný, the first head of the seminary, entitled Gymnasion aneb úvahy o řecké kultuře (Gymnasium or Reflections on Greek Culture). This study, last published in 1922, acquaints scholars and laymen with ideas which, although we often do not realize it, form the basis of our civilisation
Attitudes of the professional and general public to inclusive education in the context of general attitudes towards tracking
Get PDFPočínaje školním rokem 2016/2017 byl významně modifikován systém podpory žáků se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami. Cílem této úpravy bylo umožnit, aby běžné školy získaly prostředky na to, aby mohly tyto žáky lépe vzdělávat. Úpravě označované jako společné neboli inkluzivní vzdělávání se dostalo velké kritiky v médiích, kde byla opakovaně interpretována jako snaha zrušit speciální školy. Cílem tohoto textu je představit výsledky šetření mezi učiteli základních škol a veřejností, která zkoumají postoje ke společnému vzdělávání v širším kontextu postojů k diferenciaci vzdělávacích drah. Výzkumy se uskutečnily zhruba rok po zavedení opatření do praxe na reprezentativních výběrech 500 učitelů a 500 dospělých. Výsledky ukazují, že v posledních letech se mezi učiteli základních škol zvýšila podpora diferenciace a míra nejistoty, co se týče žádoucí struktury vzdělávacího systému. Postoje veřejnosti jsou roz poruplné a ukazují na nedostatek informací.Starting with the 2016/2017 school year, the system of support for children with special educational needs was significantly modified. The purpose of this adjustment was to allow regular schools to have the means to care for such children. The treatment referred to as common or inclusive education has been widely criticized in the media, where it has been repeatedly interpreted as an attempt to abolish special schools. The aim of this article is to present the results of surveys among elementary school teachers and the general public examining attitudes towards inclusive education in the context of tracking in the education system in general. The surveys took place roughly a year after the measures were put into practice and involved representative samples of 500 teachers and 500 adults. The results show that in recent years support for differentiation has increased as has uncertainty among elementary school teachers in terms of the desirable structure of the education system. Public attitudes are contradictory and point to a lack of available information
Risk patterns and bounded agency in vocational orientation
Get PDFIn this paper, we illuminate the vocational orientation process experienced by different groups of young people. In this context, risk factors, support, and the theory of bounded agency were considered in particular. The study answers the following questions: What patterns of risk can be identified within the vocational orientation process? How do identified risk patterns differ in relation to the perceived support provided by various support services? How do representatives of different risk patterns describe their vocational orientation process and how apparent are aspects of (bounded) agency? We carried out a mixed-methods study in Switzerland comprising a quantitative and a qualitative part. Latent class analysis revealed the existence of three distinct risk patterns that according to analysis of variance differ significantly concerning the perceived support of parents, siblings, friends, relatives, and teachers. Using content analysis, interviews revealed aspects of agency and aspects of boundaries concerning vocational orientation that differ in relation to the distinct risk patterns

No full textO japonském spisovateli Haruki Murakamim se občas soudí, že se beze zbytku zhlédl v západní literatuře a následně píše "nejaponské" texty. Pokud ovšem podrobíme rozboru příběhy, které se odehrávají v jeho literárních dílech, musíme podobné soudy odmítnout jako neopodstatněné. Tato publikace provádí čtenáře v chronologickém sledu barvitým světem Murakamiho románových příběhů a krůček po krůčku před ním odkrývá další, zastřešující příběh, sahající od počátků a inspiračních zdrojů autorovy tvorby až po moment, kdy se Murakamimu daří poprvé úspěšně vyrovnat se svým velkým tématem – temnými stíny moderní japonské historie. ,Japanese writer Haruki Murakami is sometimes considered to be an entirely western-literature-inspired author of "non-Japanese" texts. Such judgements, however, need to be rejected upon analyzing the stories of Murakami\u27s fiction. The present study offers a guidance into the colorful world of stories of Murakami\u27s novels in chronological order. It introduces them into what we could call a meta-story, starting with the very beginning of Murakami\u27s writing and its sources of inspiration, and ending with the point of Murakami\u27s first victory in dealing with his most important subject as an author – the dark sides of modern Japan\u27s history

Get PDFLiterárna história a kultúrna publicistika sa osobnosti a tvorbe Dominika Tatarku venujú bez ruptúr, a tak, aby sa dostali do súladu výklad spoločenských aj osobných reálií a do súvislostí dostupné interpretácie diela a okolnosti, ktoré ho utvárali, obrusovali aj popierali. Po generácii súčasníkov a rovesníkov sa posledné desaťročia dostali do dialógu post factum s Tatarkom ďalší a mladší spomedzi literárnych vedcov, poučení a s odlišne nastaveným hodnotovým zámerom. Podstatné zostáva to, že sa osobnosť Dominika Tatarku nevytratila z poznávacích ambícií tých, čo poznajú materiál a precízne sa orientujú vo vývinovom kontexte, ale ani tých, čo nachádzajú širšie a nepovšimnutými nuansami možné dotyky jeho nazerania na seba, život, svet a umenie s inými nazeracími a estetickými konceptmi vo filozofii a umení.Literary history and cultural journalism are dedicated to the personalities and works of Dominic Tatark without rupture and so that the interpretation of social and personal realities and the contexts of the available interpretations of the work and the circumstances that created, circumvented and denied it were brought into line. For generations of contemporaries and peasants, the past decades have come into the post factum dialogue with Tatark, another and younger among literary scientists, lessons and a differently set value goal. It is essential that the personality of Dominika Tatarka did not escape from the cognitive ambitions of those who know the material and precisely oriented in the context of development, but also those who find wider and unexpected nuances of possible touch of his viewing himself, life and the world and art with others advertisements and aesthetic concepts in philosophy and art
