TOBUNKEN Historical Papers, Arrangement and Description of Catalogue for public access
Get PDF本稿は、独立行政法人国立文化財機構東京文化財研究所における年史資料群の目録公開に向けての業務を、事例報告としてまとめたものである。
東京文化財研究所は、2008（平成20）年〜2010（平成22）年に刊行した『東京文化財研究所七十五年史』編纂のため編集委員会により収集・作成された文書を中心とする資料群を「東京文化財研究所年史資料」として、2023(令和５)年３月に目録を公開した。 組織の母体となった美術研究所の設立から現在までの90余年の間には、その事業活動のありようも移り変わってきた。『東京文化財研究所七十五年史 本文編』の目次を基準として、「東京文化財研究所年史資料」群の編成に組織と事業の変遷を反映させ、公開中の「東京文化財研究所刊行物等一覧」とともに一組織が作成した資料としての統一性を持たせた。
資料保存対策を機に始まった資料群の再整理では、活用を促すために早期の公開を優先し、段階的に目録整備を進める方法を取った。また、公開により資料現物と目録データを利用可能な状態に維持したいと考えている。第１、第２節では資料群の物理的側面に着目して、第３節では編成の考察と目録データの整備を主軸にして、実務担当者の視点から資料群を永続的に保管・利用していくための試みを提示する。This article is a case study report on the work at the Tokyo National Research Institute for Cultural
Properties (TOBUNKEN) to release a catalogue of its historical materials.
In March 2023, TOBUNKEN published a catalogue of TOBUNKEN Historical Papers, which consists
mainly of paper documents collected and created by the editorial committee of 75 Years of the National
Research Institute for Cultural Properties, Tokyo.
TOBUNKEN, founded in 1930 as The Institute of Art Research, its roles and activities have changed
over the past 90 years. In order to reflect the evolution, the arrangement based on the table of contents of 75 Years of the National Research Institute for Cultural Properties, Tokyo, has a unified structure as resources produced by TOBUNKEN, in conjunction with the List of TOBUNKEN Publication.
The process of rearrangement, which began as a result of preservation measures, has prioritized early
release to encourage utilization and adopted a phased approach to catalogue development. From a practical standpoint, sections 1 and 2 focus on the physical aspects of the materials, while section 3 examines the arrangement of the materials and cataloguing data, attempting to ensure both accessibility and preservation of materials and their data through public access.departmental bulletin pape
