Geological Constraints to the Origin of the Earth’s Life
In this paper, the author discusses the chemical variation formed during the solidified process of the Earth. Recently, research of the origin of the Earth’s life has been progressing, and new perspectives introduced into the origin. Based on these perspectives, geological constraints compiled. At first, the geological features of the Moon were reviewed as a contrast to Earth. The boundary conditions from the Hadean Earth, including raw materials (E chondrites) and initial Earth’s state, so called “dry and naked Earth”, primitive crust (anorthosite and KREEP basalt), and the habitable trinity established after late heavy bombardment (LHB), become important. Constraints related to the chemical evolution necessary for Earth’s life origin, energy sources, and the diverse and conflicting conditions for chemical synthesis are discussed. At last, temporal constraints are compiled from geological evidence.departmental bulletin pape
