An Understanding of Volcanic Deposits With Two Dimensional Electrical Resistivity Imaging Survey at Talamau Mountain West Pasaman, Indonesia
Understanding the distribution and characteristics of volcanic deposits is crucial for assessing geological hazards and resource potential. This study employs a two-dimensional electrical resistivity imaging (2D ERI) survey to model the subsurface structure of volcanic deposits at Talamau Mountain in West Pasaman, Indonesia. The survey was conducted to map the spatial extent, depth, and composition of these deposits, providing insights into their geophysical properties. The 2D ERI technique, which measures the electrical resistance of subsurface materials, allowed for the differentiation between various types of volcanic deposits based on their resistivity contrasts. Results from the survey reveal distinct layers of volcanic breccia, coarse tuff, fine tuff, and lava flows which are segmented by a fault that runs northeast to southeast. It is apparent in the 3D modelling results of the inversion of three 2D cross-sectional profiles that the trend in volcaniclastic materials has changed from aggradation to progradation. The integration of 2D ERI data with 3D geological modelling and stratigraphic analysis enhances our understanding of the volcanic history and subsurface complexity of Talamau Mountain. This approach not only aids in volcanic hazard assessment but also contributes to the broader geophysical knowledge of volcanic terrains for geologists and hazard mitigation planners in Talamau volcanic regions
Disaster Management of the Regional Disaster Manajement Agency (BPBD) of Gunungkidul Regency in Drought- Phone Areas
Gunungkidul Regency experiences a clean water crisis every year due to the prolonged dry season and the geological condition of the Gunungkidul region, which is dominated by karst mountains, so that rainwater that falls on the ground surface will immediately seep into the ground and then form underground rivers. This research aims to see how disaster management in drought-prone areas by the Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) of Gunungkidul Regency. This research uses a qualitative method by conducting interviews and observations. The results of this study indicate that in the face of drought BPBD Gunungkidul Regency has carried out various disaster management activities consisting of pre-disaster stages which include mitigation, preparedness and warning activities by producing various activities of mapping disaster-prone areas, monitoring weather forecasts and the formation of Disaster Resilient Villages/Groves and Disaster Safe Education Unit Schools (SPAB), during disasters by providing clean water dropping assistance and post-disaster at this stage BPBD Gunungkidul Regency conducts activities, namely rehabilitation and reconstruction
Improving the Ability of Smkn 1 Bukittinggi Students Majoring in Geomatics Engineering to Use the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS)
This research aims to improve the skills of GNSS usage by students in Geomatics Engineering Department of SMKN 1 Bukittinggi. Training on the use of GNSS will be conducted using the latest GNSS device owned by the school. The students will be taught about the operation and programming of GNSS devices, as well as methods of analyzing the data generated. After the training, the students will be evaluated through tests and field projects. The results show that most students initially have a limited understanding of GNSS and difficulty in using GNSS devices. The improvement of this ability has positive implications for the preparation of students in facing the increasingly complex demands of the job market. The ability to use GNSS is becoming more important in various fields such as construction, mapping, surveying, precision agriculture, and environmental monitoring. Students who have been well trained in the use of GNSS will have a competitive advantage in seeking employment or pursuing further education

The Influence of Learning Style and Learning Motivation on Student Learning Outcomes in Science Subjects Natural and Social
This research aims to describe; a) The influence of learning styles on student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences subjects, b) The influence of learning motivation on student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences subjects, c) The influence of learning styles and learning motivation on student learning outcomes in subjects Social Science and Natural Sciences lessons. This type of research is quantitative research. The population and sample in this study were all 72 students in grades IV, V, VI of the Negri 15 Linge Elementary School, Central Aceh Regency. Data collection techniques use observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques use multiple linear regression test analysis. The research results show that; a) there is a significant influence of learning style on student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences subjects, where the Sig. for the (partial) influence of learning style on learning outcomes is 0.00 < 0.05 and the calculated t value is 5.210 > 1.994 so it can be concluded that H1 is accepted which means there is an influence of learning style (X1) on Learning Outcomes (Y). b) There is a significant influence between learning motivation on student learning outcomes in Natural and Social Sciences subjects, where the Sig. for the (partial) influence of learning motivation on learning outcomes is 0.00 < 0.05 and the calculated t value is 3,199 > 1.99 so it can be concluded that H2 is accepted, which means there is an influence of learning motivation (X2) on learning outcomes (Y), c) There is a significant influence of learning style and learning motivation on student learning outcomes in Social Sciences and Natural Sciences subjects where, the Sig. for the (simultaneous) influence of learning style and learning motivation on learning outcomes is 0.00 < 0.05 and the calculated F value is 44.06> 3.13 so it can be concluded that H3 is accepted which means there is an influence of Learning Style (X1) and Learning Motivation ( X2) simultaneously on Learning Outcomes (Y)
