    Actualization of Pancasila Values (Indonesian Ideology) in Majelis Taklim Organization

    This research begins based on observations of many cases of decadence in the actualisation of Pancasila values in various fields, especially in the field of education. Because of the lack of students' understanding of the importance of actualising Pancasila values in all aspects of life. This type of research is research and development (R & D). The results of this study: the more their awareness of the importance of divinity values, deepened their understanding of the significance of tasammuh attitude (morality), members of Majelis Taklim (Islamic study organization) prioritize public interests over personal and group interests, the existence of fair and free deliberation in determining activity plans, and their increased awareness of the importance of implementing simple life behaviors. The results of quantitative data analysis show that the products developed are feasible to be used as learning media in the activities of the Taklim Assembly Organization. This evidenced by the study of the overall data of the validator, and the score of 3.93 is in the "Good" category. The constructor response score to the module in a small scale trial was 82% in the "very high" grade. Observation of the improvement in the ability of the coaches by applying the modules in small-scale experiments reached 86.33%, and large-scale trials reached 90%, which were both in the "very high" category. Penelitian ini diawali berdasarkan pengamatan banyak kasus-kasus dekadensi aktualisasi nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam berbagai bidang, terutama dalam bidang pendidikan. Karena kurangnya pemahaman siswa akan pentingnya mengaktualisasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam segala aspek kehidupan. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D). Hasil penelitian: semakin bertambahnya kesadaran mereka terhadap pentingnya nilai ketuhanan, memperdalam pemahaman mereka mengenai pentingnya sikap tasammuh (berakhlak), siswa anggota Majelis Taklim (organisasi pengkajian Islam) lebih mengutamakan kepentingan umum di atas kepentingan pribadi dan golongan, adanya musyawarah yang adil dan bebas berpendapat dalam menentukan rencana kegiatan, serta bertambahnya kesadaran mereka akan pentingnya menerapkan perilaku hidup sederhana. Hasil analisa data kuantitatif menunjukan bahwa produk yang dikembangkan layak untuk digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran dalam kegiatan Organisasi Majelis Taklim. Hal ini dibuktikan berdasarkan analisa data keseluruhan validator diperoleh skor 3,93 yang berada pada kategori “Baik”. Skor respon pembina terhadap modul dalam uji coba skala kecil sebesar 82% yang  berada pada kategori “sangat tinggi”. Observasi peningkatan kemampuan pada pembina dengan menerapkan modul pada uji coba skala kecil mencapai 86,33% dan uji coba skala besar mencapai 90% yang sama-sama berada pada kategori “sangat tinggi”

    Urgency of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in Character Building for Students in Junior High Schools

    Dalam sistem pendidikan di negara kita, pendidikan agama merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran yang diajarkan. Penitik-beratan pendidikan pada kecerdasan intelektual akan membuat ketidakseimbangan dalam menanamkan nilai karakter pada peserta didik. Pembangunan yang paling substansial adalah pembangunan akhlak, karakter, dan moral. Pendidikan agama dalam implementasinya belum maksimal, masih ada beberapa permasalahan seperti kurangnya tenaga guru agama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan keadaan akhlak siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP), peran guru Agama Islam di SMP dan faktor pendukung serta penghambat guru PAI di SMP dalam membina karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan paradigma interpretif melalui pendekatan kualitatif, jenis studi kasus. Hasil penelitian (1) keadaan karakter siswa di SMPN 3 Slahung, Ponorogo, Jawa Timur, Indonesia secara umum baik, (2) Peran guru PAI dalam membina karakter siswa dengan memberi keteladanan, habituasi (pembiasaan), nasihat, hukuman, penghargaan atau ganjaran, dan (3) faktor pendukung guru PAI dalam membina karakter siswa SMPN 3 Slahung adalah keluarga, sekolah dan lingkungan masyarakat, sedangkan faktor yang menghambat terbatasnya pengawasan pihak sekolah, kesadaran dari para siswa sendiri, latar belakang keluarga siswa, pengaruh tayangan televisi dan handphone.In the education system in our country, religious education is one of the subjects taught. The emphasis of learning on intellectual intelligence will create an imbalance in instilling character values ​​in students. The most substantial development is moral, character, and moral development. Religious education in its implementation has not been maximized; there are still some problems such as the lack of spiritual teachers. This study aims to describe the state of the morality of junior high school students, the role of Islamic religion teachers in junior high schools and the supporting factors and inhibitors of PAI teachers in junior high schools in fostering student character. This study uses an interpretive paradigm through a qualitative approach, a type of case study. The results of the study (1) the state of students' character at SMPN 3 Slahung, Ponorogo, East Java, Indonesia in general is good, (2) The role of PAI teachers in fostering student character by giving an example, habituation (habituation), advice, punishment, rewards or rewards, and (3) the supporting factors of PAI teachers in fostering the character of students of SMPN 3 Slahung are family, school and community environment, while the factors that inhibit the limited supervision of the school, awareness of the students themselves, the background of students' families, the influence of television shows and mobile phones

    Effectiveness of Reading for Islamic Education: Design of Multi-Platform Educational Game as Instructional Media

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah solusi dengan merancang media pembelajaran modern yaitu windows dan game edukasi multi-platform berbasis android yang disisipkan dengan bahan bacaan berdasarkan kurikulum mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris di lembaga pendidikan Islam untuk siswa kelas 7 Tsanawiyah (MTs). Game ini dirancang dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak Construct 2. Penelitian ini menghasilkan game edukasi multi-platform yaitu The Adventure of Timun Mas. Validasi materi dan media dilakukan oleh beberapa ahli yang kompeten di bidangnya. Validasi materi dilakukan oleh guru Bahasa Inggris di tsanawiyah dan dosen Pendidikan Bahasa Inggris. Sementara itu, validasi media dilakukan oleh praktisi, pengembang game, dan dosen Teknik Informatika. Dari hasil validasi materi dan media, setiap validator dijumlahkan, dan kemudian dibagi dengan skor keseluruhan dan dikalikan dengan 100%. Hasil akhir validasi produk adalah 82,95%, menunjukkan bahwa permainan The Adventure of Timun Mas valid dan layak untuk digunakan.The purpose of this research is a solution by designing a modern learning media namely windows and android-based multi-platform educational game for Islamic education students that is inserted with reading materials based on the curriculum of english in Islamic educational institution subject for grade 7 students of tsanawiyah school (MTs). This game was designed by utilizing construct 2 software. This research produces a multi-platform educational game namely the Adventure of Timun Mas. Material and media validations were performed by some experts who are competent in their fields. Material validation was done by english teachers of Junior High School and english education lecturers. Meanwhile, media validation was performed by practitioners, game developer, and Informatics Engineering lecturers. From the result of both material and media validation, each validator was summed, and then divided by the overall score and multiplied by 100%. The final result of product validation was 82.95%, indicating that The Adventure of Timun Mas game is valid to use

    Strategic Management of Qur'anic Recitation Teaching Among Primary School Teachers in Malaysia

    This study is related to the perception of Islamic Education teachers on their teaching practices in the Qur'an recitation skills due to the national primary schools under the administration of Education Ministry. A total of 120 Islamic Education teachers were involved as respondents in this study. They were randomly selected from ten districts in Selangor. Data were collected through a set of questionnaires consisting of 32 items. Descriptive statistics consisted of frequency, percentage and mean were used to report the findings. Findings showed that the average means of all four components in teaching practices were high. The component of lesson induction showed mean=4.03, the component of lesson expansion showed mean=4.18, the component of lesson closure showed mean=4.03 and the component of teaching aids showed mean=3.77. In conclusion, teachers should ensure a continuous improvement in their teaching practices especially in Quran recitation skills.Penelitian ini terkait dengan persepsi guru Pendidikan Islam tentang praktik mengajar mereka dalam keterampilan membaca Al-Qur'an karena sekolah dasar nasional di bawah administrasi Departemen Pendidikan. Sebanyak 120 guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dilibatkan sebagai responden dalam penelitian ini. Mereka dipilih secara acak dari sepuluh distrik di Selangor. Data dikumpulkan melalui seperangkat kuesioner yang terdiri dari 32 item. Statistik deskriptif terdiri dari frekuensi, persentase dan rata-rata digunakan untuk melaporkan temuan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata rata-rata keempat komponen dalam praktik mengajar tinggi. Komponen induksi pelajaran menunjukkan rata-rata = 4.03, komponen ekspansi pelajaran menunjukkan rata-rata = 4.18, komponen penutupan pelajaran menunjukkan rata-rata = 4.03 dan komponen alat bantu mengajar menunjukkan rata-rata = 3.77. Sebagai kesimpulan, guru harus memastikan peningkatan berkelanjutan dalam praktik pengajaran mereka terutama dalam keterampilan membaca Al-Quran

    Education, mainly Islamic based learning, can be found in formal schools, non-formal and informal institutions. A person can freely choose which path to use as a way to take talent and potential in him; even when making formal education, even an individual has the right to participate in non-formal education activities. One of the most appropriate places to forge one's abilities is the campus. It is undeniable that students are one of Indonesia's most influential human resources and are also the next generation of nation-building. Therefore the cadre regeneration function is the most basic. As a generation that must carry out the role of regeneration for the sake of the realisation of the good and happiness of the people, nation and country in the future. Therefore education is needed to help towards the better. Islamic culture has a vital role in the education model that exists in Indonesia. Islamic education is used to improve human morals in a better direction with Islamic methods. It can be observed that student organisations within the campus need a strong foundation to improve their quality in faith and loyalty that has both physical and spiritual intelligence. It is here that the need for Islamic education in helping them is better by the mandate of the national education law. Pendidikan, terutama pembelajaran berbasis Islam, dapat ditemukan di sekolah formal, lembaga non-formal dan informal. Seseorang dapat dengan bebas memilih jalan mana yang akan digunakan sebagai cara untuk mengambil bakat dan potensi dalam dirinya; bahkan ketika membuat pendidikan formal, bahkan seorang individu memiliki hak untuk berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan pendidikan non-formal. Salah satu tempat paling tepat untuk menempa kemampuan seseorang adalah kampus. Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa siswa adalah salah satu sumber daya manusia Indonesia yang paling berpengaruh dan juga merupakan generasi penerus bangsa. Karena itu fungsi regenerasi kader adalah yang paling mendasar. Sebagai generasi yang harus menjalankan peran regenerasi demi terwujudnya kebaikan dan kebahagiaan rakyat, bangsa dan negara di masa depan. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pendidikan untuk membantu menuju yang lebih baik. Budaya Islam memiliki peran penting dalam model pendidikan yang ada di Indonesia. Pendidikan Islam digunakan untuk meningkatkan moral manusia ke arah yang lebih baik dengan metode Islam. Dapat diamati bahwa organisasi mahasiswa di dalam kampus membutuhkan dasar yang kuat untuk meningkatkan kualitas mereka dalam iman dan kesetiaan yang memiliki kecerdasan fisik dan spiritual.     The development of an Islamic religious education curriculum (PAI) is an activity to produce a PAI curriculum and a process that links one component to another to create a better Islamic education curriculum (PAI). The curriculum component must consist of at least four parts, namely objectives, contents, processes, and assessments. This study discusses in depth the development of the curriculum in the Indonesian curriculum for the 2013 Curriculum model. This study aims to determine the extent to which the curriculum development curriculum for the 2013 curriculum model PAI. This study uses a literature review method. Data collection is done through documentation study techniques. The results of this study indicate that the curriculum development of the 2013 curriculum in the PAI is very significant, oriented towards realizing character education, creating education with local insight and creating a cheerful and friendly culture. Pengembangan kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) adalah kegiatan menghasilkan kurikulum PAI, dan proses yang mengkaitkan satu komponen dengan komponen yang lainya untuk menghasilkan kurikulum pendidikan agama Islam (PAI) yang lebih baik. Komponen kurikulum setidaknya harus terdiri dari empat komponen yaitu tujuan, isi, proses dan penilaian. Penelitian ini membahas secara mendalam mengenai pengembangan kurikulum PAI model Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana  pengembangan kurikulum PAI model Kurikulum 2013. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian pustaka.Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik studi dokumentasi.     Design of the Model of Internalizing Islamic Values in General Subjects

    Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi (STIE) El Hakim Sulit Air Kabupaten Solok, Provinsi Sumatera Barat memiliki keistimewaan dalam program penyelenggaraan pendidikan , yakni; adanya model internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam setiap mata kuliah, istimewa dalam visi dan misi memiliki ciri khas islami, yakni “menciptakan sumber daya manusia profesional muslim”, dalam aspek struktur menempatkan pejabat khusus bidang kepesantrenan yang bertugas dalam pengelolaan bidang pengembangan nilai-nilai Islam dan secara formal terdapat mata kuliah bermuatan nilai-nilai Islam seperti; akhlak ekonomi Islam, ekonomi mu’amalat, dasar-dasar ekonomi dalam al qur’an dan al hadits, dll. Penelitian ini difokuskan tentang pengembangan desain model internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam pembelajaran. Hasilnya ditemukan dalam penerapan desain  model internalisasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam rencana pembelajaran semester (RPS), proses pembelajaran dan evaluasi hasil pembelajaran mata kuliah etika bisnis.El Hakim Hard Air College of Economics (STIE) Solok Regency, West Sumatra Province has unique features in the education program, namely; the existence of a model of internalizing Islamic values in each subject, particular in vision and mission has Islamic characteristics, namely "creating professional Muslim human resources", in the structural aspect places specific officials in the pesantren in charge of managing the field of developing Islamic values and formally there are courses containing Islamic values such as; Islamic economic morals, mu'amalat economics, financial basics in al Quran and al-hadist, etc. This research is focused on developing a model design to internalize Islamic values in learning.     Physical Violence in The Educational Process Through The Perspective of Fiqh

    The teacher is a very decisive figure in the learning process of a student. Competent teachers can impart knowledge to their students, both religious and worldly knowledge. However, sometimes teachers who are expected to educate with patience and compassion can turn into 'monsters' at school. Physical violence against students often occurs in the middle of the learning process. The Indonesian government has been very good at responding to this. There are so many laws that protect the rights of students from physical violence in the education process. But what about from a Fiqh perspective? To what extent is the authority of a teacher in sanctioning students from a Fiqh perspective? and What is the Fiqh attitude of a student or student guardian when he is sanctioned by his teacher? Through an in-depth literature method, it was finally concluded that Fiqh also discussed the issue of physical sanctions on students. In this case, Fiqh allows it under certain conditions. These strict conditions must then be met when a teacher will impose physical sanctions on his students. Thus, the basis of Fiqh which is a manifestation of Islamic laws must also be used as a reference in solving the problem of physical sanctions on students in the teaching and learning process

    Accreditation Policy and Quality of Higher Education

    Accreditation policy is nothing but a form of quality control of universities. Accreditation activities assess the independence of the universities concerned. Accreditors assume that human action is determined by self-will (self-termination), and on self-direction. The substance of quality and accreditation is more on building a new scientific paradigm. In the context of achieving quality refers to the concept of individual - institutional motivation in carrying out the work. The recognition of more important identity is to change the paradigm and epistemology of science in accordance with the development and demands of the times. New, more representative facilities are built. New educational equipment and media are also being held. All of that form has fulfilled the instrument of quality assurance of  the universities. The answer that can parse the problem is the policy of accreditation. Accreditation is interpreted as a measure of quality assurance. The objective of achieving the quality can be realized based on the strengthening of the strategy and quality technique pursued through accreditation, until the supervision is interpreted as a challenge that needs to be answered completely. The real phenomenon of action and reality in the environment of university is a careful step in writing this paper, the academic environment service; The principle of managerial optimization; an input-output perspective - a multidimensional outcome; principles of harmonizing institutional governance, and risk reduction principles. These five principles become a system that binds the strengthening of accreditation policies implicate the quality of the university.Kebijakan akreditasi tidak lain sebagai wujud pengawasan mutu perguruan tinggi (PT). Akreditor menilai tindakan kemandirian PT bersangkutan. Ia selalu berasumsi bahwa tindakan manusia ditentukan oleh kemauan sendiri (self ditermination), dan pada tujuan sendiri (self direction). Substansi mutu dan akreditasi lebih pada membangun paradigma baru keilmuan. Dalam konteks pencapaian mutu mengacu konsep motivasi individual--institusional dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan. Penghargaan akan identitas yang lebih penting adalah  mengubah paradigma dan epistemologi keilmuan yang sesuai dengan perkembangan dan tuntutan zaman. Fasilitas-fasilitas baru yang lebih representatif memang dibangun. Peralatan dan media pendidikan yang baru juga diadakan. Semua itu wujud telah terpenuhinya instrumen penjaminan mutu PT. Adapun jawaban yang dapat mengurai permasalahan itu adalah kebijakan akreditasi. Akreditasi dimaknai sebagai langkah penjaminan mutu. Tujuan pencapaian mutu dapat diwujudkan atas dasar penguatan strategi dan teknik mutu yang diupayakan melalui akreditasi, hingga pengawasan dimaknai sebagai tantangan yang perlu dijawab secara tuntas. Fenomena aksi dan realitas yang senyatanya di lingkungan PT merupakan langkah pencermatan dalam penulisan makalah ini, yaitu pelayanan lingkunganakademik; Prinsip optimasi manajerial; perspektif input—output--outcome multidimensional; prinsip harmonisi tata kelola institusi, dan prinsip pengurangan risiko. Kelima prinsip tersebut menjadi sebuah sistem yang mengikat sebagai penguat kebijakan akreditasi berimplikasi mutu PT

    Positioning Madrasah dalam Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter

    Character education is one solution to the problems of morality, character and other deviant behavior that is happening in this country. Strengthening character education becomes something important that must be supported by all components ranging from educational institutions, families and communities. In order to support the reinforcement, the president also issued a regulation on strengthening character education. Madrasah that become one of the formal educational institutions are also required to carry out the strengthening of character education as mandated. The positioning of madrasah should also be appropriate in the organization of strengthening character education, as it will impact on community appraisal. Positioning madrasah in organizing character education reinforcement is carried out through intra-curricular, ko-curriculer and extracurricular programs and positioning madrasah in addressing school admission days, madrasah can take the five day entry option with a system integrating the madrasah system with the pesantren system or taking six day entry options by strengthening the three curricular programs , with programs that show off that can be directly seen and felt the benefits by the community.Pendidikan karakter menjadi salah satu solusi atas permasalahan moral, akhlak dan perilaku menyimpang lainnya yang sedang terjadi di Negara ini. Penguatan pendidikan karakter menjadi sesuatu yang penting yang mesti didukung oleh seluruh komponen mulai dari lembaga pendidikan, keluarga dan masyarakat. Dalam rangka mendukung penguatan tersebut presiden juga mengeluarkan Peraturan tentang penguatan pendidikan karakter. Madrasah yang menjadi salah satu lembaga pendidikan formal dituntut juga mampu melaksanakan penguatan pendidikan karakter sebagaimana yang telah diamanatkan. Positioning madrasah juga harus tepat dalam penyelenggaraan penguatan pendidikan karakter, karena akan berdampak pada penilaian masyarakat. Positioning madrasah dalam menyelenggarakan penguatan pendidikan karakter dilakukan melalui program intrakurikuler, kokurikuler dan ekstrakurikuler dan positioning madrasah dalam menyikapi hari masuk sekolah, madrasah dapat mengambil opsi hari masuk lima dengan sitem mengintegrasikan sistem madrasah dengan sistem pesantren atau mengambil opsi masuk enam dengan penguatan di ketiga program kurikuler, dengan program-program yang show off yang bisa langsung dilihat dan dirasakan manfaatnya oleh masyarakat
