Model of Increasing Student Understanding Through Strengthening Teacher Professionalism and Classroom Management
Increasing students' understanding requires teacher competence in teaching and classroom management preparation. Teacher professionalism has a significant role in increasing student learning motivation, which will impact the achievement of understanding. The purpose of this study is to describe the effect of classroom management and teacher professionalism on students' level of understanding. This study uses a quantitative approach. The research design is descriptive correlational. The subjects in this study were 67 students of Muhammadiyah Plus Probolinggo Elementary School. The data collection technique used in this study was a questionnaire. Data analysis used a path analysis test with the help of SPSS version 24.0. The results of this study namely; 1) Class management is included in the low category, teacher professionalism is high, and the level of student understanding is high; 2) There is no significant influence between classroom management and the level of understanding of students, namely the value of Sig 0.000>0.05; 3) There is a significant influence on teacher professionalism on the level of understanding of students, namely the value of Sig. 0.113>0.05; 4) There is a significant simultaneous influence between classroom management and teacher professionalism on students' level of understanding, namely the value of Sig. 0.104>0.05; Meanwhile, the size of other variables outside the variables studied is 0.797. The implications of this study confirm that teacher professionalism and classroom management positively contribute to increasing student understanding
Efforts to Improve Students Discipline Through Habituation Activities at Minhajut Thalibin Boarding School
The purpose of efforts to improve student discipline through habituation activities at the Minhajut Thalibin Islamic Boarding School is that habituation of discipline is a process or way to create a habit of disciplined behaviour. And the attitude of discipline will be reflected in the existence of obedience to respect and implement a system that requires people to submit to applicable decisions, orders and regulations. The problem that will be studied in this research is how to improve student discipline through habituation activities at the Minhajut Thalibin Islamic Boarding School. Where this research is field research or field research, the type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. While the technique used to analyze the data is qualitative data analysis techniques. Efforts to improve student discipline through habituation activities at the Minhajut Thalibin Islamic Boarding School, Patokbeusi District, Subang Regency. The results of the author's research indicate that the habituation of students' disciplined attitudes in educational activities at the Minhajut Thalibin Islamic Boarding School, Patokbeusi District, Subang Regency is carried out through activities from the curriculum section and the student body. For educational activities from the curriculum section, the learning process is carried out six days a week with the provision of a weekly holiday on Friday. The educational activities of the Students division include congregational prayers at the mosque, morning and evening dhikr, sunnah fasting on Mondays and Thursdays, reading of hadith after Maghrib prayers, and practice lectures in muhadhoroh activities. Among the objectives of holding educational activities at the Minhajut Thalibin Islamic Boarding School, Patokbeusi District, Subang Regency, is an effort to habituate the disciplined attitude of the students in the hope that they are accustomed to discipline in carrying out their activities
Competitive Education Marketing Management in Integrated Islamic Education Institutions: Islamic Education Interests in Modern Society
This study aims to produce a marketing management theory concept for competitive private Islamic educational institutions. At the same time, the locus of this research is the Integrated Islamic Junior High School (SMPIT) Khairunnas Bengkulu, Sumatra. Education is a service product produced by non-profit educational institutions so that the educational process results are visible. To learn more about education marketing, you must first know the substance and characteristics of services and marketing concepts so that the application of education marketing is in the correct position by the values and nature of education itself. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study type—data obtained from interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out since the researcher arrived at the research locus; after the data was collected, analysis was carried out through data compression, data presentation, and conclusion. The processes of credibility, dependability, confirmability, and transferability are used to best check the validity of the data. Research findings related to the concept of institutionally competitive marketing management are the concept of "shura expert" or guidance from a senior who is experienced in the field of education, the concept of mastering English and Arabic for students so that they can be accepted at high schools and favourite campuses even abroad, and the concept of increasing competency through extracurricular activities, especially in science and technology
Quality Islamic Boarding School Model: Linking the Principles of Teacher Professionalism and Organizational Management
Contradictory professional and managerial principles such as quality monitoring and evaluation are integrated to shape contemporary professional action. This study aims to determine the directions of teacher professionalism and organizational management as a quality control model in Islamic boarding schools/dayah in Southeast Aceh district. This type of qualitative research with descriptive survey techniques. Primary data sources were obtained from informants and survey results, while preliminary data was obtained from various expert studies in the form of journals, books and other encyclopedias as support. Data analysis using an interactive model. The research data was then transcribed, and a data reduction process was carried out, which consisted of coding, choosing keywords, and categorization. The research results provide a model of professionalism as an aspect of change and 'organizing professionalism' as a new model. The Islamic boarding school teacher professionalism model leads to three parts: The formation of (1) Satisfaction Value of Quality Commitment; (2) Moral Commitment Trust Value, and (3) Performance Value for Continuous Change. The social implications expected through this research are a model of building organizational values in shaping teacher professionalism as an evaluative means of sustainable quality.
 
Design of Aceh Government's Dayah
The difference in boarding school management characteristics in Aceh significantly contrasts with other provinces is the Board of Education/Dayah Office. Through the Dayah Region, the Aceh government has border boarding schools in four districts (Aceh Tamiang, Aceh Singkil, Southeast Aceh and Subulussalam City). The borders aim to fortify the encroachment of Muslims in the border region through educational access. This research is comparative qualitative research. Data sources were obtained from descriptive written and oral data and observed people and their behaviour. The presentation of research data is presented through data classification, general characteristic conclusions, propositions, and theories. Inductive techniques of analysis do the writing. This writing is expected to be a reference for the government in fostering boarding schools and managers generally in improving the effectiveness of boarding schools. The results of the study show a Border Power management model reviewed from managerial functions, namely planning operations in primary strategic plans; leadership functions lead to cooperation and participative styles; implementation functions (management sites) integrate between salafy-modern- and government and evaluative processes in organizational development concepts that prioritize on aspects of HR, economics and infrastructure mean. Implementing management on each border as a government boarding school is already underway, effectively referring to empirical data, the quality and quantity of Dayah Perbatasan are superior to the other educational institutions in their respective districts
The Influence of Teacher Motivation and Skills on Performance through Leadership Intervening Variables
This study aims to determine the effect of teacher motivation and skills on performance through leadership as an Intervening Variable in MA Ma'arif Udanawu Blitar. This type of research is quantitative research. The population used in this study were all teachers, namely 69. Sampling in this study was saturated sampling, namely the sampling technique when all members of the population are used as samples. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. Data analysis methods using path analysis with the IBM SPSS statistical 22 programs. The results showed that there was a significant influence of teacher motivation and skills on performance through leadership. The higher the teacher's motivation and skills, the higher the performance and leadership. There is an indirect effect of work motivation on teacher performance through leadership as an intervening variable at MA Ma'arif Udanawu Blitar, as evidenced by the results of the sobel test, which is greater than t-table means there is a mediating effect. Leadership can be a mediating variable between work motivation on teacher performance. Work skills influence teacher performance through leadership as an intervening variable at MA Ma'arif Udanawu Blitar, as evidenced by the results of the Sobel test, which is greater than t-table, which means there is a mediating influence. So, leadership can mediate between work skills and teacher performance
The Role of Mosque-Based Non-Formal Islamic Education in Building Sakinah Families
This research aims to describe the role of mosque-based non-formal Islamic education in forming a sakinah family. This research is field research with a qualitative paradigm. The location selection was made purposively. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses an analytical descriptive model. The role of mosque-based non-formal Islamic education in forming a sakinah family is analyzed using Kuntowijoyo's prophetic social science approach. The results of the study are: 1) Mosque-based non-formal Islamic education plays a strategic and significant role in forming a sakinah family in the process of humanization, liberation and transcendence in the formation of a sakinah family, and also plays a role as an adult education effort in solving the problem of forming a sakinah family; 2) The results of the role of non-formal Islamic education in the mosque can increase individual, semi-social and collective humanization in the formation of a sakinah family. They are improving knowledge system liberation, social system liberation, economic system liberation and political system liberation to form a sakinah family. The process of transcendence can increase the obedience of family members to religion and social norms and make the basis of humanization and liberation for forming a sakinah family
Contribution of Vocational Madrasah Aliyah in the Growth of Indonesia's Demographic Bonus
Demographic bonuses have become the concern of various parties, both government and non-government. Managing the demographic bonus is predicted to contribute to Indonesia's economic conditions positively. In this case, vocational-based Madrasah Aliyah (MA) is required to create competent and competitive working-age human resources significantly. For this reason, this study seeks to answer the contribution of Vocational Madrasah Aliyah (MAK) in welcoming the demographic bonus. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design, while the informants were determined by purposive sampling. Data collection techniques were in-depth interviews, participant observation, documentation, and focus group discussions. Checking the validity of the data was then carried out by expanding the presence of researchers in the field, deepening observations, triangulation, peer discussions, matching members, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The study results show that in encouraging the formation of competent working-age human resources, there still needs to be an imbalance in the ideal teacher-student ratio in one region to another, followed by a balance that exceeds government standards. In addition, problems with the implementation of vocational-based Madrasah Aliyah still leave big jobs, including the absence of competency certification for graduates of Vocational Madrasah Aliyah, inadequate madrasah infrastructure, lack of cooperation, and low competency of Vocational Madrasah Aliyah teachers
Implementation of Educational Technology in Learning at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Palembang
The purpose of this research is to determine how educational technology is implemented in the learning process at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 2 Palembang. This research is a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. In this study, the informants were school principals, students, education staff, and others related to this research. Data collection techniques, namely through the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used data reduction, data presentation, and verification, and also, there was a technique for checking the validity of data through triangulation. The results of this study indicate that the educational technology used in learning covers all subjects, and all teachers are free to use existing educational technology and can even develop it according to the needs of existing learning. In implementing educational technology in learning, MAN 2 Palembang has implemented a systems approach as an integral part of the education process. This system is well built in the learning process by utilizing educational technology. Besides that, MAN 2 Palembang has also carried out a learning process oriented towards students. This is important to implement so that what is the need of students can be adequately accommodated by madrasas. What is no less important is the use of good learning resources to achieve educational goals
Role-Playing Therapy in Handling Hyperactive Children
This study aims to determine the results of the attitude of hyperactive children through the method of role-playing in the classroom. Children with hyperactivity disorder are very annoying to their friends in class. This hyperactive child's behaviour is complicated to regulate, primarily when learning occurs. This hyperactive child often causes trouble, disturbs his friends, paces in class, rarely does assignments, is spoiled, and screams as he likes. The method used is qualitative research with observation techniques, interview techniques, and documentation. The subjects studied were several students who behaved hyperactively in a class with many 20 students from group B. This research took place at RA Masyitoh VII Pandean, Paiton District, Probolinggo Regency. The research begins with the planning stage, implementation of research in the field, and research reports. This study indicates that the behaviour of hyperactive students often annoys other friends, do not want to be regulated, often go back and forth in class, usually leave class when learning begins, rarely do assignments, and are spoiled. Teach children to learn while playing in class. Because playing is a child's world, every child is happy to do this activity. One of the play activities that children often do is role-playing
