Pemberdayaan Masyarakat Melalui Agroindustri Ikan Air Tawar Waduk Batu Bulan Di Desa Maman
Batu Bulan Reservoir, located in Maman Village, Moyo Hulu Subdistrict, Sumbawa Regency, is the longest dam in NTB Province which has high potential for developement. One example is the abundance of fishermen's catches. Furtehermore, the abundant catches result in fish is sold in significantly low prices. Hence, the income of said fishermen in this area is particularly low. It happens due to those fishermen do not have any other option considering their lack of knowledge and skills in processing and preserving their catches for a longer time in order to increase their market value. As far as increasing market value is corncerned, freshly caught fish hold small price in the market for it is raw. If it goes through industrial processes and is transformed into a product of processed fish (agroindustry), of course its market value will rise that in turn will automatically affect its price, consequently will increase the income of the family of fishermen in Maman. The objective of this action is to equip the fishermen in Maman with the necessary skills and knowledge to process their own catches industrially so that it will increase in value and strengthen the local economy. Using the method of training and accompaniment, this activity targets 30 people, which are housewives of fishermen in Maman. The outcome of this program can be assessed with observing the increasing of people of Maman to process fish by 80%. Moreover, two products from this program which are Abon Ikan (Shredded Fish) and Stick Tulang Ikan (Fish Bone Stick) can be realized
Penyuluhan Manajemen Beternak Itik untuk Meningkatkan Ketersediaan Bahan Baku Telur Asin
The extension activity aimed to improve the duck farmer skills in duck farming system in Candi Manik village, Sekotong Sub-District, West Lombok District. The activity was successfully conducted due to collaboration among several parties, including village officials, KKN student of University of Mataram, and lecturers of Faculty of Animal Science University of Mataram. The activity was carried out using talk and discussion methods. All of the invited participants attended the activity until the end. The whole activity ran smoothly and in orderly manner. Materials presented during the activity were needed by the participants, especially the duck farmers. Thus, it can be concluded that, the extension activity was a success as it met the planned targets and objectives. Materials given were: breeding, feed and feeding, menegement of rearing sytem, disease and disease contole, and post-harvest handling management. All of the participants attended the extension activity until the end. The whole extension activities consisting of discussions, questions and answers sessions took place in an orderly manner. The discussed extension topics were material needed by participants, especially for duck farmers. Thus it can be concluded that the material provided can improve duck farming skills of the participants in order to increase egg production as salted egg raw material

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) is a new type of disease that has never been identified before in humans. The virus that causes Covid-19 is called Sars-CoV-2. This research was conducted to educate the public about the use of ginger and lemongrass functional drinks to improve immunity. The method of implementing Community Service is carried out interactively with a video conversion application ZOOM on 25 youth cadets in the village of Mojogede, Balongpanggang Gresik on June 14, 2020. Before starting the event the participants were given a face shield that must be used during the event as an effort to implement health protocols. Furthermore, pre-test is given first, then material exposure is carried out and continued filling in post-test with the same problem. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test obtained an increase in public knowledge which was 79.09% to 89.23%
Pelatihan Pengolahan Limbah Pertanian dan Peternakan Pada Masyarakat Tani Ternak di Desa Tete Batu Kecamatan Sikur Kabupaten Lombok Timur
This activity is based on potensial of Tete Batu Village as agricultural area so that the availability of agricultural waste is abundant and so far it has not been used optimally as animal feed. Community service activities are carried out by providing materials on the technology of processing agricultural waste using various fermenters and local feed ingredients that can be used as alternative feed ingredients, then continuing the practice of processing livestock waste into liquid organic ferlizer and processing agricultural waste into silage. The service activity was attended by the Lombok Regional Government which involved in fostering livestock, head and management of Tete Batu, the livestock farming community, alumni and student, avarage 40 people. The community service activities have succeeded in increasing the knowledge and skills of breeders in processing livestock waste into liquid organic ferlizer which can be used to increase the fertility of agricultural plants and become products that can be sold so as to increase the income of the livestock farming community. Community service activities have resulted in good commitment from the livestock farming community, village administrators and related local government agencies to assist livestock farming communities in processing agricultural and livestock waste into useful products
Peranan Statistika dan Pengembangan Karakter dalam Menghadapi Tantangan Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 dan Big Data pada SMAN 1 Praya
The development of science and technology provides changes to every aspect of human life including social, economic, educational and industrial changes which are now entering stage 4.0. The Era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 is identical to the Internet of Things which produces Big Data that cannot be processed with conventional devices and requires special analysis. These changes require human resource development in science, education and character in order to continue to compete with the global world, especially the younger generation who will fill the industrial forward. The problem arises because most of the educational outcomes lack a link and match or a good match between tertiary education which causes students to feel wrong about their majors or the incompatibility of their needs and abilities in the industrial world which makes it difficult for them to find a work. Therefore, coaching efforts are needed so that students can be aware and prepare themselves to improve their quality both by increasing hardskills and soft skills to meet these needs. This community service activity is carried out by SMAN 1 Praya as one of the best high schools and is a reference school in West Nusa Tenggara. The method used is the direct learning method that is evaluated using self-assessment techniques conducted by students using google form. Evaluation results show an increase in students' knowledge of statistics and character development needed in the face of the industrial revolution 4.0 and Big Data after they have participated in this dedication activity

North Lombok Regency is the most affected area due to the sequential earthquake that occurred in July 2018 on the island of Lombok. Therefore, the purpose of community service activities is to provide training and business assistance to communities that have an impact on earthquakes. The location is addressed to the Sedayu Putri Fisheries Processing and Marketers Group (POKLAHSAR) on Lokok Rangan Hamlet, Kayangan District, North Lombok Regency. The training provided on entrepreneurship and business management to produce a variety of food products from marine fish, such as shredded meat, fish bone crackers and fish bone sticks from the utilization of fish bone waste. Next to provided training on marketing and finance. The method used by lectures, consultation and assistance. Activities will be carried out from May 2019 to November 2019. The results of the activities of group members are able to produce shredded fish products, fish bone crackers and fish sticks. Expected result is the participants rose again to produce a variety of processed products from the sea acquired knowledge about the importance of packaging, used social media for broad marketing, and made financial report. Participants got back up from adversity and generated income to improve their welfare
Deteksi Dini Penyakit Arteri Perifer pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus di Kota Mataram
Diabetes mellitus is currently becoming a major public health problem in the world. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus globally in 2019 is estimated at 9.3% and will increase to 10.9% in 2040. Peripheral artery disease is one of the important complications of diabetes mellitus. Patients with diabetes mellitus accompanied by peripheral artery disease have high morbidity and. Therefore, early detection of peripheral artery disease in diabetic patients is important. This event is carried out with the aim of early detection of peripheral artery disease in diabetes mellitus sufferers in Mataram. A total of 183 diabetes mellitus patients at the Siti Hajar Hospital, Mataram, were participated in this event, with an average age of 57 years and 67.8% of them were women. Most of the patients (75.4%) had poor blood glucose control. Of these, 26.8% of patients had peripheral artery disease. Patients and/or caregivers showed high enthusiasm during the education regarding the detection results of the peripheral artery disease. This event was very useful in increasing the knowledge of diabetic patients, especially in terms of blood sugar control, prevention, and management of peripheral artery disease
Penerapan Paket Teknologi Pemupukan Organik-Anorganik Untuk Tanaman Cabai Merah di Lahan Kering Lombok Utara
Increased productivity of red chili plants is done to meet consumer demand which continues to increase by increasing cultivation techniques, one of which is fertilization. So far, farmers on dry land only rely on the use of high amounts of inorganic fertilizers. While the use of inorganic fertilizers continuously without being balanced with the provision of organic fertilizers can reduce the quality and fertility of the soil. This extention service aims to (1) provide understanding and enrich knowledge to farmers in the dry land of North Lombok regency to use a combination of organic and inorganic fertilizers in the cultivation of red chili, (2) practicing red chili cultivation techniques by giving a combination of organic and inorganic fertilizers. Community service was carried out within a period of six months to the "Tani Tulen" farmer group partners in Sambik Rindang hamlet, Salut village, Khayangan sub-district, North Lombok district. The approach method was used, participatory with the target empowerment process includes: (1) counseling; (2) the practice of planting red chilies with a combination of inorganic fertilizers. The results shows that (1) an increase in understanding farmers about the importance of using manure (compost) in increasing soil fertility, (2) the used of manure of 5 tons/ha combined with 350 kg Urea, 300 kg SP-36, and 200 kg KCl provide good growth in red chili plants
Sosialisasi Penggunaan Pupuk bioorganik-fosfat Pada Tanaman Cabai Merah (Capsicum annum L)
Bioorganic-phosphate fertilizer is an organic fertilizer enriched with phosphate solubilizing rhizobacteria (PSR). The addition of PSR to organic fertilizers is intended to improve the quality of organic fertilizer. The purpose of this community service activity is to socialize the use of bioorganic-phosphate fertilizers on red chili plants for reducing the use of inorganic fertilizers. This service activity used a participatory approach. As a target farmer partner is the "Bahtera" farmer group in Narmada Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. This activity began with establishing a joint agreement between the community service team and the target farmers through a group discussion (FGD). The next activity was an extension activity about "bioorganic-phosphate fertilizer, its role, and benefits". Next, Activity of demonstration plot of integrated fertilizing was made at the farmer land to show the difference in yield with/ without used the combination fertilizer of bioorganic-phosphate and inorganic fertilizer. The chili yields show that fertilizing of the combination of bioorganic-phosphate and 75% of the recommended fertilizer dosage is higher than the 100% of the recommended dose. these community service activities achieve a positive response from farmers. This socialization activity needs to be carried out in other locations so that more farmers applying a fertilization pattern by combining bioorganic-phosphate and inorganic fertilizer
