Deteksi Dini Penurunan Status Fungsi Kognitif dan Edukasi Terkait Upaya Pencegahannya pada Pasien Stroke Iskemik di Rumah Sakit Islam Siti Hajar Mataram
Get PDFPenurunan fungsi kognitif merupakan salah satu komplikasi penting dari stroke, terutama pada stroke iskemik. Prevalensi penurunan kognitif pada pasien stroke iskemik sendiri saat ini diatas 70%. Deteksi dini terhadap penurunan fungsi kognitif terkait stroke iskemik dan faktor-faktor yang menyertainya dapat memberikan luaran klinis yang baik pada pasiennya. Dengan demikian, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang ditujukan untuk deteksi dini penurunan kognitif pada pasien stroke iskemik dan edukasi terkait upaya pencegahannya sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Sebanyak 51 pasien stroke iskemik dewan waktu awitan stroke iskemik 3 bulan pertama yang datang ke Poliklinik Saraf RSI Siti Hajar Mataram mampu menyelesaikan partisipasinya secara penuh dalam kegiatan ini. Sebagian besar pasien memiliki rerata usia 54 tahun, sebagian besar laki-laki, memiliki pendidikan SMA, awitan stroke dalam 4 minggu pertama, dan memiliki hipertensi dan dislipidemia. Karakteristik pasien yang berhubungan secara signifikan dengan frekuensi terjadinya penurunan fungsi kognitif terkait stroke iskemik antara lain usia pasien, hipertensi, dan atrial fibrilasi (p<0.05). Seluruh pasien dan anggota keluarga penyerta menunjukkan antusiasme yang tinggi. Kegiatan deteksi dini penurunan fungsi kognitif ini sangat bermanfaat bagi pasien stroke iskemik dan edukasi yang diberikan bermanfaat dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan mereka terkait langkah-langkah yang harus dilakukan untuk mencegah terjadinya penurunan fungsi kognitif terkait stroke iskemik

However, conditions in the field, there are still many people who do not use masks in their daily activities, such as at Badung Market, Denpasar. The market as a place of buying and selling that involves the interaction of many people, should have more health protocols so that it does not become a new cluster in the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, community service was made by involving lecturers and students of all Study Programs at the Bali Design and Business Institute, in the form of distributing cloth masks and infographics to provide education to the public, especially traders and the community in the Badung Market area, Denpasar-Bali. The methods used are choosing the location for distributing masks, collecting cloth materials for mask production, producing masks, designing infographics and mask packaging, packaging, and distributing masks in the Badung Market area. The purpose of this activity is to improve the ability and skills of managers and members of HWDI in West Lombok Regency. The activity is carried out by holding training and assistance in computer accounting and office accounting using Microsoft Excel, the results of the implementation of this activity are expected to improve the capabilities of managers and members of HWDI. In addition, this training and assistance is carried out to provide new abilities and skills to managers and members of HWDI, so they can take advantage of digitalization opportunities to improve the economy of people with disabilities. This training and mentoring activity will be aimed at managers and members of HWDI in West Lombok Regency. The implementation of the activities is carried out with an approach to providing material and mentoring computer accounting training and office accounting using Microsoft Excel. The results of counseling and training activities on computer accounting and office accounting in increasing the knowledge and capability of the management and members of the West Lombok Regency HWDI are useful and supported by the management and members, so that in the future they can remain independent.

Therefore, anticipatory and preventive steps are needed to overcome these problems. One of the efforts to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus is to regularly wash hands and use hand sanitizers. However, not everyone is able to prepare hand sanitizers and not all public places are provided with hand washing facilities and hand sanitizers, even if there are, special personnel (operators) are needed to spray sanitizer and check body temperature with a thermo gun from a very close distance, which of course is this. It is also very vulnerable to the transmission of Covid-19. The purpose of this activity is to design and manufacture and provide appropriate technology for hand sanitizers and body temperature detectors to break the chain of the spread of Covid-19. The method used in this activity is to design, manufacture and test automatic hand sanitizer dispensers and disseminate technology at the urban village office in Kendari City. This community service activity has succeeded in producing an automatic hand sanitizer product that is integrated with a body temperature detection system and this tool has been implemented in one of the Kelurahan offices in Kendari City.

Get PDFAs an effort to improve the knowledge and skills of rural breeders, community service activities have been carried out with the topic "Training on Feed Processing from Agricultural Waste in Moyo Mekar Village of Moyo Hilir Sumbawa." This service activity was held on the grounds that breeders in Moyo Mekar Village often experience difficulties to meet the needs of their livestock for forage, especially during the dry season, so this sometimes has an unwanted negative impact, such as the occurrence of cases of death and disease in livestock as a result of the declining condition of the livestock. This is due to the ignorance of the breeders in their efforts to overcome the shortage of forage during the dry season. This community service activity has been carried out using three methods, namely lecture, written and demonstration methods. With the lecture method, it was conveyed about the understanding and explanation of how to preserve and treat agricultural waste. Through the written method, it is conveyed by giving brochures to the breeder members. Meanwhile, with the demonstration method, the breeders directly practice ways of preserving and treating agricultural waste. Based on the results of monitoring during the activity, the results of questions and answers and the enthusiasm of the participants, it was seen that the new breeders realized how important the role of nutrition was for livestock, the availability of applying preservation and feed processing technology, and it could also be seen that they had no difficulty in adopting the material provided, then Overall this activity can be said to be quite successful. Recognizing the limitations of the breeders in terms of preservation and processing of feed which is an alternative for providing feed in the dry season, it is suggested that this kind of activity should be continued so that the expected livestock production can be achieved.

Urban-Village of DasanCermen, district of Sandubaya, has been selected as site of community service with consideration that there are several livestock-farmers group, namely: the cattle-farmers group, the Buras Chicken-Farmer Group, the Duck-Farmers Group, and the Fish- Farmers Group. The existence of these livestock-farmer groupshave been used as an educational tourism-site by the Urban-Village Government. The cattle-farmer group of “Beriuk Taker” is located close to the urban-village office and residential areas so that accumulated-manure disturbs environmental health. Therefore, the aim of this community service is to find solution problem of accumulated-livestock manure by processing it into organic fertilizer. In addition, this service also provides knowledge and skills about group-based business management to group committee.The methods have been used in this activity are extension service on implementation of cattle-business technology, training on processing organic fertilizers, and focus group discussions (FGD) on cattle-group management. The service results showed: (1) positively response of beneficiary group to the community service; (2) cattle-farmers capable and willing to apply technology about feed, cattleshed, and marketing;(3) cattle-farmers are skilled in processing of organic fertilizer by mutually work in every Sunday after zuhr prayer. The processing of organic fertilizer can produce 1 – 1.5 tons in 3 weeks. The temporary marketing is directed to ornamental-plant entrepreneurs around in the city of Mataram. It is hoped that the proceeds from the sale of fertilizers can be used to pay land rent to the local mosque management. With the support of the village government, the "Beriuk Taker" cattle farmer group can be used as a location for livestock education. They planned that the income from sale of organic fertilizerwould be used to pay land-rent to the local mosque committee.With the support of the urban-village government, the cattle-farmers group of "Beriuk Taker" can be used as site for livestock’educational-tourism

Salah satu sarana yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh guru bahasa Inggris untuk kebutuhan tersebut adalah melalui kegiatan membaca yang dapat melatih kemampuan berfikir kritis, kreatif dan aktif. Question Generation merupakan kegiatan belajar dimana peserta didik dilatih untuk mengajukan atau membuat pertanyaan terhadap apa yang mereka sudah baca yang terdiri dari pertanyaan literal, inferential dan evaluative. Kegiatan Pengadian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) ini bertujuan untuk mensosialisasikan model pembelajaran membaca berbasis Question Generation yang dengannya para guru bhs Inggris dapat melatih para peserta didik mereka untuk aktif, kreatif dan berfikir kritis dalam kegiatan membaca. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMAN 1 Gunung Sari dan melibatkan 20 orang guru bahasa Inggris SMA, SMK dan MA di wilayah kecamatan Gunung Sari. Hasil kegiatan PPM yang meliputi penyampaian materi, diskusi, latihan dan evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa para peserta terlihat antusius dan aktif dalam mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan yang ada, tekun memperhatikan dan menyimak materi yang disampaikan oleh tim, aktif berdiskusi atau tanya jawab terkait materi sosialisasi dan masalah pembelajaran bahasa Inggris dan juga praktik dalam membuat pertanyaan untuk teks yang mereka baca. Selain itu, hasil isian angket evaluasi kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa para peserta menyambut baik kegiatan ini karana dapat menambah pengetahuan dan wawasan mereka, sehingga mereka berharap jika ada kegiatan serupa pada masa yang akan datang dengan melibatkan lebih banyak guru dan materi yang lebih fokus pada teacher needs dan problem solving

Egg production has not been able to supply the needs of the people, hotels and restaurans in North Lombok Regency. Assistance activities from various parties are needed in order to improve the business of laying hens through the share of science, technology, and training in livestock. The community service activity was initiated by a speech from the head of the breeders group who revealed the various problems by breeders in improving their poultry farming business. The next activity was the share knowledge of community service which include successful management of laying hens, techniques for preparing various feed formulas by utilizing and techmiques for improving the quality of alternative feeds. The community service activity was attended by 35 breeders and the discussion was active. The breeders who attended were farmers who are members of the ‘Gemas’ Layer Farmer Group Associantion, which has 23 members with a business capacity of 20.000 layer hens. The farmer group is eager to increase egg production in order the needs of hotels, restaurants, people in North Lombok Regency. Get PDFWashing hands with soap for 20 seconds is an effective prevention effort against various infectious diseases. In the COVID-19 pandemic, mastery of good and correct hand washing by the wider community plays a major role in efforts to prevent disease transmission. Mataram University Hospital which is a hospital that serves as a vehicle for education is the right place to apply knowledge and disseminate knowledge to the wider community, especially hospital visitors about how to wash hands in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Therefore, we do community service in the form of counseling on how to wash hands for visitors to the Mataram University Hospital. This service aims to increase the knowledge of visitors to the Mataram University Hospital on how to wash their hands. Counseling is carried out in the visitor's waiting room, both at registration, pharmacy and outpatient. Young doctors who are conducting education are also involved in this activity. Counseling is carried out by inviting the demonstrators to directly practice hand washing steps according to World Health Organization (WHO) standards. During the period from August to October, there were 7 counseling sessions and hand washing practices for visitors to the Mataram University Hospital. The media used in the counseling were banners with pictures of hand washing steps and hand sanitizers for direct practice by visitors. The involvement of young doctors and good coordination with the education and health promotion sectors of the hospital support this activity.
