The purpose of this research is to know the effect of Fe12% powder alloy on aluminum to porosity and micro structure by gravity casting method. Metal Matrix Composite (MMC) is an engineering material formed from the combination of two or more materials to obtain new materials with better properties. Making of composite material with aluminum matrix or metal matrix composite (MMC) can be done by casting method. The composite forming elements are called boosters (fibers or particles) and binders (matrices). In the process of casting metal can occur porosity In the casting process with sand molds usually occur porosity, causing the mechanical properties of casting objects decreased. Porosity is caused by bubbles of gas, gas released by the core when exposed to metal liquid heat, resulting in pores or perforated defects. The process of smelting was carried out at the metal foundry laboratory of Mechanical Engineering UP 45 Yogyakarta. The smelting process uses a krusible furnace with coke fuel, on which it is placed kowi to place aluminum and iron powder to be melted. Aluminum and 12% iron powder are weighed in accordance with the volume of the pattern, so that the melt does not suffer from metal deficiency. Observation of porosity is done by looking visually on each side of the outer part of the casting object. Observation of microstructure using optical microscope is done by taking three samples of specimen castings that have been in the preparation of polishing machine and etching. The effect of Fe 12% alloys on porosity is the average porosity occurring on specimens A, B and C of 2,766 gr / cm3. The effect of Fe 12% alloys on micro structure is the spreading of Fe, Si and Mg elements evenly, but for the C specimens of Fe and Si bersenyawa, while the Al and Mg elements are separate

Application of Portable Gasification Stove in Supporting Disaster Response

The application of micro-gasification stove technology for outdoor and disaster response activities is one of the renewal efforts in the utilization of biomass waste to energy. This study uses a portable micro-gasification stove type of natural draft which consists of three important compartments, namely the equalizer chamber, reactor chamber, and chimney. The unique ventilation of the reactor and chimney in this furnace will form a vertically spiraled air flow. This air flow will help complete combustion throughout the reactor chamber and accelerate the process of heating and gasification. Empirical test on this stove has been done by using a naturally dried twig and some kind of processed biomass (briquette/pellets). The peak temperature of the fire was not much different, ranging from 700 °C to 900 °C. With a total mass about 250 grams for each fuel (dry twigs, wood powder briquettes, and paper waste pellets), the duration of the flame occurs between 15 to 30 minutes depending on the fuel variant. In this experiment, the resulting fire was able to boil water with a volume of 500 ml in less than 7 minutes. While the remaining combustion, the live coals in the reactor is still able to warm water with the same volume from room temperature, about 28 °C to 80°C without any addition of fuel. Considering the performance and ease of procurement, storage, and distribution of fuel, the portable micro gasification stove is feasible to serve as a tool for disaster response support

Article 1 of the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia determines in paragraph (1) that the State of Indonesia is a unitary state in the form of a republic; paragraph (2) that the sovereignty is in the hands of the people and implemented according to the Constitution; paragraph (3) that the State of Indonesia is a legal state. As a state of law, The state of Indonesia must uphold the law. The enforcement of the law can take place normally and peacefully, but can occur because of violations of law enforced by law enforcement. Law enforcement in Indonesia implemented by law enforcers through the judiciary should pay attention to 3 things, namely: legal certainty (Rechtssicherheit), benefits (Zweckmassigheit), and justice (Gerechtigheit). The criminal justice system is a sub-system of justice in Indonesia which is very important in law enforcement. Criminal justice governance that includes investigation, investigation, prosecution, defense, trial, execution, and correctionality necessitates an ongoing revitalization effort in the face of the development of a society that demands more just and verifiable access to justice, and more efficient and open legal services. One of the things that must be done in the revitalization of criminal justice governance is the reconstruction of rules on criminal justice based on dignified justice

Objective of this research is to understand child’s (4 years old, boy) emotional development through interviewing his mother. She was interviewed on several aspects i.e. (1) her aim to send her son to the PAUD (early child development) school in Rewulu, Yogyakarta, (2) preparation before going to school, (3) giving attention after school. This research was interesting since research location was conducted in Rewulu Yogyakarta, a village near a downstream area of energy. This area was chosen since children lived in mining areas usually were exposed with air and water pollution. Children had to eat contaminated foods. Therefore, most of children had low health status. In the middle of this awful environment situation, children’s emotional development was disturbed easily. Parent especially mother was able to lessen this dreadful situation through providing healthy food and other superior attentions. This research revealed that subject was unable to provide excellent attention toward her son since she was pretty busy with her hectic working schedule. Her minimal attention was also seen from numerous events i.e. picking up her son belatedly after school, delegating the completing homework task toward her first daughter instead of herself, providing low quality packed meal, and unable to manage her son to take a bath and having breakfast properly. She was likely to depend more on the school’s facility instead of independently accomplish in fulfilling her son’s needs. Some recommendations were addressed to the PAUD’s teacher to build parenting awareness among parents. Research limitation was about unknowing father’s roles in upbringing children

Process of building character on young people started from the habit changing and the provision of activity meaning. The habit changing was applied through conducting ordinary activities among young people i.e. sport / physical recreation, skill training, community service and adventure / expedition. Those 3 former activities should be conducted continuously at least 6 months, during 60 minutes / activity / week, whilst the adventure / expedition should be conducted at least 2 days till 14 days, based on the character changing level (bronze, silver, and gold). Those activities were under the IAYP (International Award for Young People) program. The provision of activity meaning was the participant\u27s interpretation whether these activities were burden or challenge. When the burden interpretation occurred, participant would be likely to tell a lie, lazy, broken his or her commitment to accomplish the activities, and try to find creative apology to cover the laziness. When the challenging interpretation occurred, participant would be likely to have good characters i.e. tough, internal self-regulation, honest, interpreting disability as opportunity, high commitment, and patient. This character building on young people is a precious investment to be a though leader.Method of this research was monitoring student\u27s self report on accomplishing those 4 activities under the IAYP program. Monitoring meant reminding (motivating) participant toward his or her commitment, instructing participant to repeat those activities from the initial start when he or she was lazy, and reminding participant to choose middle risk adventure activity instead of high or low risk activity. There were 13 participants (6 girls, 7 boys), university students, mean age was 20. All of them wanted to achieve the bronze award. Those students participated to the IAYP individually; therefore their completion time was dissimilar. By the end of research (month 11), 4 students succeeded in achieving bronze award. One participant was drop out because had other commitment, whilst the rests (8 students) were still in progress. Two of those 8 students should repeat again their activities from the initial start, since they broke their schedule commitment

Objective of this study is to understand the difference of emotional sensitivity on girls with menstruation and girls without menstruation. It was about 70 high school students participated in this research. Using the corrcalational t-test statistic analysis (t = 5.234, p< .000), it was rcvelaed that those girls significantly felt higher emotional sensitivity when they were in menstruation periodic (M - 72.05) compare to the situation without menstruation (M = 67.15). The hypothesis was confirmed. The menstruation variable only predicted 28.73% of of the emotional sensitivity. This finding was almost similar with research in Taiwan. For the future research, the lacking of menstruation should be broken down between before and after menstruation. It was because girls on those two menstruation situation felt different emotional sensitivity

Companies should do business not only to get profitability but more than that, namely sustainability, which will determine the future of a company. That goal can be achieved, one with implementing Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The company sustainability will only be guaranteed if the company noticed the social and environmental dimensions, where the CSR program and the company is committed to behave ethically and contribute positively to its employees, communities, and the surrounding environment, as well as the wider community. The substance of the existence of CSR is in order to strengthen the sustainability of the company by building cooperation among stakeholders that facilitated by the company, by arranging community development programs. Sustainable CSR program is expected to help create life in the society more prosperous and independent. CSR will ultimately benefit the company. But, of course, the company is not expected to obtain short-term financial rewards, when they implement CSR strategies. In addition, CSR can actually be viewed as a future investment for a company. In a critical environmental consumer society, CSR can create a brand image (positive image) of a company
