    Hubungan Current Ratio, Struktur Modal, dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Kinerja Keuangan Perusahaan Pertambangan yang Terdaftar di BEI Periode 2014-2016

    This study aims to find out and to analyze the Current Ratio, Capital Structure, and Corporate Size partially affect the Financial Performance of Mining Companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (BEI) in the period 2014-2016. The sample used is 120 financial statements of mining companies listed in BEI. The method used in sampling is purposive sampling. Data is collected by downloading, recording, researching, and copying information relating to the issues discussed in the study. Data analysis using descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, and multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, and coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study indicate that current ratio and the size of the company does not affect on financial performance of mining companies on BEI in the 2014-2016, while the capital structure has a significant effect on the financial performance of mining companies on the company’s financial performance

    This research aims to examine and analyze the effect of disclosure of Internal Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) with dimensions of diversity (X1) and employee support (X2) against the performance of a lecturer (Y) at the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. The population in this research is the entire existing lecturer in University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo totalling 187 people using proportional stratified further allocated by random sampling techniques. The taking of the sample uses the Slovin\u27s formula with a defined precision of 5% found the total number of respondents as a sample research as much a withdrawal of samples of research done using proportional stratified random sampling found the number of research sample as much as 120 respondents. The results of this study found that internal CSR dimension i.e. diversity and employee support a positive and significant effect against lecturers’ performance improvements in the scope of the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo. So it can be inferred that the work environment at the University of Muhammadiyah Ponorogo relating to diversity, there is no element of intimidation with regard to issues of gender, race, tribe, and religion so that it is managed to encourage lecturers to improve its performance. Similarly, the disclosure of the internal dimension of CSR employee support felt very motivating lecturers to enhance the quality of work and professionalism of lecturers, although one of the indicator of employee support i.e. administering payroll subject matter has not too fulfilling for lecturers

    One of the ideal geometric characteristics of a component is a smooth or rough surface. In practice, it is not possible to obtain a component with a smooth/rough surface. This is due to several factors, such as the human factor (operator) and the factors of the machines used to make it. However, with technological advancements, the growing apparatus capable of forming surface components with a high degree of fineness/roughness, according to the standard measures applicable in metrology, is advanced by geometric measurement experts through research experience. Fineness level/roughness of a surface is very important role in the planning of a machine component, especially concerning the problem of lubrication friction, wear and tear, resistance to fatigue and so on. Therefore, in the planning and manufacture must be considered first about which machine equipment should be used to make it and how much the cost must be incurred. In order for the process of manufacture, there is no significant deviation, then the characteristics of this surface should be understood by the planner even more by the operator. Communication of surface characteristics is usually done in engineering drawings. But to explain perfectly about the characteristics of a surface seems difficult. The research method is started by preparing instrument that is Milling Machine which is used to make surface roughness and Surface Roughness Tester is done 3 times test with variable speed of food which is different equal to 7,3; 13; 24.5 mm/put. With a speed of 102 rpm Rpm, and a depth of 0.4. Next, determine the material roughness level with Surface Roughness Tester. After all, done will get the data test results, followed by analysis and discussion so that will get final conclusion. From the research results obtained the following results: there is a difference in the level of roughness in each material with different feeding speed. The feed rate of 7.3 mm / put yielded 0.64 μ, 13 mm / put roughness generated 1.32 μ, 24.5 mm / put yielded 3.77 μ. The process of measuring the roughness of the material with the speed of feeding is slower, the smoother the surface roughness, the faster the speed of the feeding the more rough. The range of syrup result is also influenced by the speed of the food. The faster the movement of the range range the wider the surface roughness is the opposite

    Pengaruh Variasi Temperatur Hardening dan Tempering Paduan AlMgSi-Fe12% Hasil Pengecoran terhadap Kekerasan

    The purpose of this research is to know the effect of Heat Treatment Hardening-Tempering Alloy AlMgSi–Fe12% foundry result to hardness and toughness. The test was carried out on raw material and material test specimen after obtaining Hardening heat treatment at 600℃ and quenching with SAE 20 oil medium. While Tempering variation at temperature 200℃, temperature 250℃ and temperature 300℃ with detention time for 15 min at each temperature, each heat treatment. Hardness testing method is done by standard micro Vickers test method with 100 gf loading. The result of raw material testing for hardness value is 60,92 VHN. Test results after heat treatment process at temperature 200℃ cause hardness value increased by 63,50 VHN. At temperature 250℃ cause hardness value decreased to 59,94 VHN. At temperature 300℃ cause hardness value increase to 76,98 VH

    Studi Komparasi Penentuan Viskositas Lumpur Pemboran Menggunakan Marsh Funnel dan Viscosimeter Berbasis Video Berbantuan Software Tracker

    Lumpur pemboran merupakan salah satu penunjang yang penting dalam suatu operasi pemboran minyak, gas dan panas bumi. Fungsi Lumpur pemboran  ditentukan oleh komposisi kimia dan sifat fisik lumpur.  Kesalahan dalam mengontrol sifat-sifat fisik lumpur akan menyebabkan kegagalan yang dapat menimbulkan hambatan pemboran (hole problem) dan akhirnya mengakibatkan kerugian yang sangat besar. Viskositas merupakan bagian yang pokok dalam sifat-sifat rheologi fluida pemboran. Pengukuran sifat-sifat rheologi fluida pemboran penting mengingat efektivitas pengangkatan cutting merupakan fungsi langsung dari viskositas. Di laborotorium teknik perminyakan penentuan viskositas lumpur pemboran biasa dilakukan dengan menggunakan Marsh Funnel.Penelitian bertujuan membandingkan hasil penentuan viskositas menggunakan marsh funnel dan viscosimeter berbasis video berbantuan software tracker.  Sampel dalam penelitian adalah  lumpur pemboran berbahan dasar aquadest dan bentonite dengan tambahan additive. Percobaan dilakukan sebanyak lima kali dengan komposisi lumpur pemboran yang berbeda. Sampel I berbahan dasar bentonite ditambah aditive spersene 0,5 gram. Sampel II  berbahan dasar bentonite ditambah aditive spersene 1 gram, Sampel III  berbahan dasar bentonite ditambah aditive CMC 0,5 gram. Sampel IV berbahan dasar berbahan dasar bentonite ditambah aditive CMC 1 gram dan sampel V berbahan dasar bentonite tanpa aditiveHasil analisa menggunakan Marsh Funnel dalam penentuan viskositas lumpur pemboran dimana dari hasil analisa laboratorium apabila lumpur dasar ditambahkan  spersene  maka viskositas kinematik akan berkurang dari 29,3 detik menjadi 28,3 detik dan apabila lumpur dasar ditambahkan CMC maka viskositas kinematik akan bertambah dari 36,5 detik menjadi 38,3 detikPenggunaan viscosimeter berbasis video berbantuan software tracker dalam penentuan viskositas lumper pemboran dengan penambahan spersene 0,5 gram diperoleh nilai viskositas 0,065 ±0.02 poise, penambahan spersene 1 gram diperoleh nilai viskositas 0,052 ±0.02 poise, penambahan CMC 0,5 gram diperoleh nilai viskositas 0,087 ±0.01 poise, penambahan CMC 1  gram diperoleh nilai viskositas 0,092 ±0.03 poise. Drilling mud is one of the important supports in an oil, gas and geothermal drilling operation. The function of drilling mud is determined by the chemical composition and physical properties of the mud. Errors in controlling the physical properties of mud will cause failure which can lead to drilling problems (hole problems) and ultimately result in huge losses. Viscosity is an essential part of the rheological properties of drilling fluids. Measurement of the rheological properties of drilling fluids is important considering the effectiveness of cutting removal is a direct function of viscosity. In the petroleum engineering laboratory the determination of viscosity of drilling mud is usually done using Marsh Funnel. The research aims to compare the results of the determination of viscosity using marsh funnel and video-based viscosimeter assisted by software tracker. The sample in this study was drilling mud made from aquadest and bentonite with additives added. The experiment was carried out five times with different drilling mud compositions. Sample I made from bentonite plus 0.5 gram additive spersene. Sample II made from bentonite plus spersene aditive 1 gram, Sample III made from bentonite plus aditive CMC 0.5 gram. Sample IV made from bentonite based added CMC aditive 1 gram and sample V made from bentonite without additive The results of analysis using Marsh Funnel in determining the viscosity of drilling mud where from the results of laboratory analysis if base mud was added with spersene the kinematic viscosity would decrease from 29.3 seconds to 28.3 seconds and if the base mud is added CMC then kinematic viscosity will increase from 36.5 seconds to 38.3 seconds. The use of video-based viscosimeter assisted by tracker software in determining the viscosity of drilling jumpers by adding 0.5 grams of spersene obtained a viscosity value of 0.065 ± 0.02 poise , the addition of 1 gram of spersene obtained a viscosity value of 0.052 ± 0.02 poise, the addition of 0.5 gram CMC obtained a viscosity value of 0.087 ± 0.01 poise, the addition of 1 gram CMC obtained a viscosity value of 0.092 ± 0.03 poise

    Many researches revealed that picture method was useful to increase children’s ability to recognize concrete objects. In order to bridge children\u27s difficulty in learning English as a foreign language, this research was aimed to increase children’s recognize on some new English words. Learning English based on conventional method (using many words only) was compared experimentally with picture method. Seventy students grade sixth from 4 elementary schools participated in this study. Design of this experimental study was the pretest - post test. The intervention was conducted once during 75 minutes i.e. 50 minutes for exercising English words using pictures (for the picture group) and words (for the word group); 10 minutes for conducting a quiz; and 15 minutes for verifying the exam questions. It was hypothesized that the picture method was much better to increase children’s ability to recognize some new English words than the conventional method. This research revealed that children’s ability on the picture method class increased 2.5 times from the pre test compared to children in word method class (increased only 1.7 times from the pre test) and children in the control group (increased only 1.06 times from the pre test and non significant). It was recommended that teacher should use pictures to help children to understand English new vocabularies. This recommendation could also be enlarged with comic and animated film usages

    Self-management is the main factor for academic achievement. Higher self-management will address to higher academic achievement. Ninety university students originated from Lembata District NTT and currently study in Yogyakarta participated in this study. Academic achievement as the independent variable was identified based on the documentation method. Student’s self-management as the dependent variable was identified through the self-management scale. The self-management scale constructed from five aspects i.e. goal setting, environmental setting, self-monitoring, self­evaluation, and self-reinforcement. The scale has four alternative answers ranged 1-4 (1 for strongly disagree and 4 for strongly agree). Based on the product moment correlation analysis, it was revealed that student\u27s self­management positively correlated to their academic achievement (r = .584, p<.001)

    Youth life that usually rely on peers and also being demanded to be independent and assertive, are certainly confusing for adolescence. Comparing to adult, peer is the most important influence for adolescence. Therefore, to be assertive and independent to have opinion is a risky for teens. This preliminary research aim is to investigate the internal and external factors attributing the assertive behavior on a subject. This research is unique since the subject lives in a dormitory, and therefore she has complex problems i.e. adaptation for new environment, home sick, and peer demanding on conformity. The research revealed that the subject relies more on her peer than to her parents. She tends to be non assertive and low self-esteem. Suggestion for the next research is discussed
