PENGARUH PENAMBAHAN TINGGI WEIR PLTA SIPANSIHAPORAS UNIT #2 TERHADAP kWh PRODUKSI
PLTA Sipansihaporas Unit #2 (17 MW) merupakan sistem kaskade dari Unit #1 (35 MW) dengan tipe run of river. Berdasarkan pengamatan, inflow air pada Unit #2 ini tidak jarang melebihi volume kapasitas bendung/weir. Oleh karena itu, dalam usaha meningkatkan pasokan energi listrik, limpasan air tersebut berpotensi dapat menambah jam operasional Unit #2 dengan meningkatkan daya tampung bendung melalui peninggian bendung/weir. Penelitian ini dimulai dengan studi meja terhadap data curah hujan, data PLTA, dan data lainnya. Data curah hujan yang digunakan adalah dari stasiun Pinangsori. Perhitungan debit andalan (dependable discharge) yang diambil sebesar 85% dengan menggunakan metoda J. F. Mock. Disamping itu, dilakukan pemetaan topografi secara lagsung untuk mendapatkan kondisi area tampungan. Sedangkan untuk perencanaan penambahan tinggi weir diperoleh memalui perhitungan routing, dengan membandingkan aliran yang masuk dengan aliran keluar terhadap volume weir.Debit andalan yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 1.46 m3/det. Tinggi penambahan weir maksimun dapat dilakukan setinggi 5 m karena dibatasi oleh bentuk kontur area weir yang curam dan harus di bawah elevasi bangunan Power House Unit #1. Sehingga, didapatkan peningkatan waktu produksi menjadi 21,58 menit per hari, dengan lama pengisian waduk 10.28 jam
Enhancing Renewable Energy Power Generation through the Exploration of Laser Technology
This research aims to investigate the utilization of laser technology in improving the performance of power generation systems from renewable energy sources, focusing on solar, wind, hydropower, and biomass energy. A literature review and comprehensive analysis were conducted using a descriptive and synthetic data analysis method. The discussion results indicate that laser technology can significantly contribute to the utilization of renewable energy. In solar power generation systems, laser technology enhances solar radiation absorption in solar thermophotovoltaics applications and flexible solar panel designs. In wind power generation systems, laser technology is employed in long-range wind flow measurement using LiDAR, wind turbine load validation, and improving wind turbine control. In hydropower generation systems, laser technology protects and monitors water turbine blades to prevent erosion and damage. In biomass power generation systems, laser technology is employed for chemical element detection in the energy conversion process and analysis of biomass properties. In conclusion, using laser technology in power generation from renewable energy sources offers significant potential for enhancing efficiency, performance, sustainability, and environmental friendliness
Analisis Perilaku Konsumen Online Aplikasi Dana Menggunakan Model Intention, Adoption, dan Continuance
The era of globalization is demonstrated by technology that is developing very rapidly. Almost all sectors of life adopt technology in their operations. No exception in the financial sector, people need a payment method that is efficient, fast and safe. One example of financial technology that is widely used by Indonesian people for daily transactions is DANA, a form of digital wallet service. Digital wallets allow users to make electronic transactions without using physical cards or cash. This article aims to determine the factors that encourage users to use the DANA application repeatedly by analyzing online consumer behavior variables which include perceptions of service quality, perceptions of ease of use, and perceptions of usefulness which influence their satisfaction, as well as the influence of satisfaction on sustainable use intentions are based on the intention, adoption and continuance models. The sample used in this research was 100 DANA users who live in West Java Province. This sample was determined using the convenience sampling method and collected data through distributing online questionnaires. The results of this study found that there was a significant influence of perceived service quality and perceived convenience on satisfaction, while perceived usefulness did not have a significant influence on satisfaction. Proses Konversi Metana Menjadi Hidrogen dengan Proses Pirolisis dalam Reaktor Kolom Gelembung Menggunakan Logam Cair
Proses pirolisis metana yang menghasilkan hidrogen tanpa melepaskan emisi CO2, sangat menjanjikan karena juga memproduksi hasil samping berupa karbon yang bermutu tinggi. Penggunaan logam cair sebagai media reaksi mampu memperbaiki proses konversi dan mengatasi masalah pengerakan pada reaktor kolom gelembung. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh suhu dan laju aliran gas terhadap konversi metana di dalam reaktor, dilakukan studi eksperimental di laboratorium. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konversi gas metana meningkat ketika temperatur reaktor dan laju aliran gas menurun. Proses konversi gas metana tertinggi didapatkan pada suhu reaksi 1000°C dan laju aliran gas 50 ml/menit, yaitu sebesar 54,46%
Keterikatan Kerja Dan Beban Kerja Dengan Work Life Balance
ABSTRACT This study aims to determine: 1) the relationship between work engagement and work-life balance for employees, 2) the relationship between workload and work-life balance for employees, 3) jointly between work engagement and workload and work-life balance. life balance for employees. The research sample was 52 employees at Bank X in the Marketing division. The data collection method in this study used the WLB scale, work engagement scale, and workload scale. Data analysis using product moment correlation analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed: 1) There was a positive relationship between work engagement and Work Life Balance for employees, the correlation was 0.718 (p<0.01); 2) The negative relationship between workload and WLB, obtained a correlation value of 0.654 (p<0.01); 3) The joint relationship between work engagement and workload with WLB obtained an F value of 43.750 and a correlation coefficient of 0.801 (p<0.01) and effective contribution work engagement and workload to WLB is 51 .4% while the remaining 48.6% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study
Pemilihan Algoritma Machine Learning Yang Optimal Untuk Prediksi Sifat Mekanik Aluminium
This study designs and compares optimal machine learning models to predict the mechanical properties of aluminum, including Yield Strength (YS) and Tensile Strength (TS), based on the percentage composition of aluminum\u27s chemical elements. The machine learning modeling in this study has nine input variables consisting of aluminum chemical elements such as Al, Mg, Zn, Ti, Cu, Mn, Cr, Fe, Si, and two output or target variables consisting of YS and TS. Additionally, Heatmap correlation is used to observe the correlation between chemical elements and the mechanical properties of aluminum. Three machine learning algorithms, namely Decision Tree (DT), Random Forest (RF), and Artificial Neural Network (ANN), are compared in this study. The comparison of these algorithms shows that Random Forest (RF) outperforms the other algorithms in predicting YS with MAE of 11.44, RMSE of 14.282, and R value of 0.93. On the other hand, ANN performs better in predicting TS with MAE of 19.593, RMSE of 22.005, and R value of 0.947
Efektivitas Penerapan Konsinyasi dalam Pemberian Ganti Rugi Pengadaan Tanah
The land is one of the natural assets controlled by the State of Indonesia as stipulated in Article 33 paragraph (3) of the 1945 Constitution. The word control has the meaning of being authorized to regulate by issuing statutory regulations. Even so, land problems are still a problem that often occurs in society, especially related to land acquisition for public purposes and accompanied by compensation. The purpose of this study is to the extent to which the effectiveness of the application of consignment in the provision of compensation due to land acquisition. The research method in this writing uses a normative juridical approach and data analysis used is qualitative and data collection is carried out by collecting primary, secondary, and tertiary materials.Based on the results of the analysis of this writing, the application of consignment in the provision of compensation for land acquisition can be the final way in resolving disputes between the government/institution/agency and the community when there is no agreement due to various factors such as the owner or heirs not being present and difficult to communicate related with land acquisition for public interest or this disagreement is due to the absence of an agreement on the amount of compensation in which compensation for land acquisition is considered too small so that it cannot meet further needs. The consignment request is carried out by the Debtor/Agency/Institution/Government to deposit compensation money through the local District Court and of course, use the applicable provisions as stipulated in the Law so that it has permanent legal force
Analisis Potensi Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Bayu dengan Turbin Angin Sumbu Vertikal di Kecamatan Sangkapura Kabupaten Gresik
Gresik Regency\u27s coastal Bawean Island is where Sangkapura District is situated. In 2020, there were 117,112 power consumers in the Sangkapura District. On the same island, there have been some regions without electricity daily. This demonstrates that there is still a need for electrical energy, which is growing along with the population. Additionally, growing global oil prices are a sign of the need for electrical energy. Fossil energy, which is non-renewable and can produce emissions, is the energy source that is most frequently used today. An energy crisis can be brought on by the excessive consumption of fossil fuels. The suggested remedy is to employ new renewable energy (EBT) as a source of electrical energy, taking into account that EBT is more environmentally friendly. Therefore, more study is required to determine the local potential of wind as a wind power plant (PLTB) using vertical axis wind turbines, taking into account the benefits and drawbacks of each type of turbine. The analysis of published works and the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency\u27s online database is the research techniques used. According to the analysis, an average wind speed of 1.5 m/s and wind power of 10.47 watts were measured. Dim LED lights can be turned on with this amount of energy. Sangkapura District has a poor potential for wind power plants because this number is lower compared to numerous pertinent research and employs a home size. Therefore, we require a different strategy that can utilize low wind speeds to generate electricity
Analysis of Factors Affecting Behavioral Intention in Using Mobile Wallets in Batam City
This study aims to determine the effect between perceived risk, self-efficacy, enjoyment, trust, perceived usefulness, and perceived ease of use on behavioral intention to use mobile wallets in Batam City. Therefore, the researcher use judgemental sampling in order to give the questionnaire to users who have made transactions using Go-Pay, OVO, Dana, Shopee, and Link Aja in Batam City, by using a google form that was distributed to 375 respondents. The results of these respondents will be processed using smartPLS version 3.0 software. The results of this study indicate trust and self-efficacy, do not at all affect behavioral intention to use mobile wallets in Batam City. In addition, trust is also unable to mediate the effect between enjoyment and behavioral intention to use mobile wallets in Batam City
Examining the Performance of Palm-Oil-Based Surfactant in Increasing Oil Recovery Through Spontaneous Imbibition Test: A Case Study in Light Crude Oil
Along with the increasing demand for oil and decreasing production every year, we are faced with the challenge of being able to maximize the potential of our oil resources. The decline in production in Indonesia is largely due to the fact that Indonesia\u27s oil fields which are still operating today are mature fields whose production is already very low. Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) is one method that has been proven capable of producing residual oil in a field. One type is Chemical Enhanced Oil Recovery (CEOR) which injects chemicals to increase oil mobility. Surfactants are chemicals that have been widely applied for chemical injection. Its ability to reduce interfacial tension (IFT) and alter rock wettability is the main mechanism of surfactants. In this test, the surfactant used is a palm-based surfactant and will be applied to light oil. Tests such as compatibility test, IFT test, contact angle test, and spontaneous imbibition test were carried out to get a conclusion about the performance of a surfactant. In the compatibility test, the samples in this study all formed a hazy solution at all test concentrations. IFT measurements carried out showed that surfactants were able to achieve an IFT value of 10-3 (ultralow) at a concentration of 0.5%. In addition, based on the contact angle test, samples of surfactant X 0.5% and 0.3% were able to form a smaller contact angle than brine. To measure the performance of surfactant in increasing oil recovery, a spontaneous imbibition test was carried out and the results were that both samples of surfactant X 0.3% and X 0.5% were able to produce recovery factors of 53.5% and 54.2%, which were greater than the recovery factor of brine, which was 43.7%
