The objective of this research is to find out the effect of shotpeening particle variations on the microstructure, tensile strength, and impact strength of friction stir welding (FSW) joints. In the weld metal area after the material is subjected to friction stir welding (FSW), the material will experience softening and a decrease in mechanical properties compared to the raw material. The shotpeening process on the weld metal surface is expected to improve mechanical properties, because the weld metal surface will experience repeated pressure from the shotpeening particles as a forging effect. Friction welding (FSW) is carried out on materials made of 6061 aluminum alloy and the material has a thickness of 3 mm, with butt joint welding. The friction welding process uses an Aciera brand milling machine, the feeding speed on the machine is set to 18 mm / minute and the spindle rotation is 910 rpm. Shotpeening particles use steel ball and aluminum oxide, namely S 230, Al 24, Al 54. The results of microstructure testing show that the forging effect of shotpeening causes deformation in the surface layer to a depth of 700 µm. The results of tensile testing on FSW joints with variations in shotpeening particles: S 230, Al 24, Al 54 show the optimum tensile strength in shotpeening with Al 54 particles of 208 MPa, and the results of impact testing show the optimum impact price in shot peening with S 230 particles of 0.57 J / mm2

This study examines how a shift work system affects employees’ work motivation, considering social support as a mediating mechanism. The research took place at Gambut Barakat Type A Terminal, South Kalimantan, a public service facility that operates continuously with rotating morning, afternoon, and night schedules. A quantitative, causal comparative design was employed, and all 35 shift employees were surveyed using standardized instruments for shift work and social support. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling. The results indicate that the shift work system has a positive impact on work motivation (β = 0.536) and also enhances perceived social support (β = 0.763). Social support has a positive effect on motivation (β = 0.383) and partially mediates the relationship between shift work and motivation (β = 0.409). The model yields an R² of 0.744, indicating that 74.4% of the variance in motivation is explained by the combined effect of shift work and social support. These findings highlight the importance of transparent and well-managed rosters accompanied by a supportive interpersonal climate. In continuous public service operations, equitable scheduling, combined with peer and supervisory support, can enhance employee motivation and help sustain performance over time

This study aims to develop a seaweed cooperative business model based on the Cooperative and Mutual Enterprise Business Model Canvas (CME-BMC) to enhance the cooperative’s competitiveness and adaptive capacity in supporting small-scale farmers. The research utilizes a qualitative case study of a seaweed cooperative in West Java, integrating the CME-BMC with the VRIO, PESTEL, and SWOT frameworks through literature review, in-depth interviews, and structured questionnaires. The findings show that the current business model is aligned with cooperative principles, but it still has weaknesses that need to be strengthened for the cooperative to effectively compete and grow. The cooperative\u27s key resources and capabilities include integrated post-harvest and processing facilities, experienced members, democratic governance, and effective management of the value chain across both upstream and downstream activities. The external environment presents both opportunities and challenges within the industry, including policy support, land allocation issues, climate risks, price fluctuations, and downstream regulations. Nine development strategies were formulated and translated into a new, more integrated and member-oriented business model. This study offers practical and theoretical contributions by demonstrating how the integration of the CME-BMC with strategic analysis can produce a more adaptive, sustainable, and competitive cooperative business model

&nbsp

Evaluation Of Mud Logging And Wellsite Geology Data For Geothermal Feed Zone Identification In Well Dug-L6, Gea Field, South Sumatra

Geothermal drilling requires precise identification of feed zones to optimize well productivity and minimize operational risks. This study evaluates the integration of mud logging and wellsite geological data for feed zone identification during the drilling of Well DUG-L6 in the Gea Field, South Sumatra. The research focuses on directional drilling within the 12¼” and 9⅞” sections, covering depths from 1300 to 2593 m measured depth (mMD). Real-time drilling parameters such as rate of penetration (ROP), weight on bit (WOB), standpipe pressure (SPP), and torque were analyzed alongside mud logging indicators and cuttings description. These datasets were integrated to identify anomalies including drilling breaks, circulation losses, temperature variations, and hydrothermal alteration that collectively serve as proxies for reservoir permeability. Results indicate three significant drilling breaks at 1388–1389.7 mMD, 1667–1669 mMD, and 2495.7–2497 mMD, each marked by abrupt increases in ROP, reductions in WOB, and thermal responses at surface level. Total loss circulation (TLC) occurred continuously from 1355 to 2593 mMD, confirming extensive fracture-related permeability in the deeper section. Cutting evaluation revealed lithologies dominated by dacitic lithic tuff and andesitic volcanic units, with hydrothermal alteration characterized by chlorite and illite mineral assemblages. These features are consistent with fluid–rock interaction and indicate the presence of active geothermal upflow pathways. Integration of drilling anomalies and lithological observations provided strong evidence of productive feed zones that align with structural targets defined in the subsurface model. This study demonstrates that real-time integration of drilling parameters and wellsite geological data provides a robust approach for early identification of geothermal feed zones. Two primary productive intervals 1300–1355 mMD and 2300–2593 mMD were delineated by the concurrence of significant drilling breaks, the onset and persistence of total loss circulation (from 1355 mMD to TD), BHCT anomalies exceeding 55 °C (peaks of 63.4 °C and 60.6 °C), and the presence of hydrothermal alteration minerals. These findings underscore the operational value of mud logging and wellsite geology as reliable, cost-effective tools for reservoir early characterization, enabling informed decision-making during drilling and supporting the sustainable development of geothermal resources in Indonesia

Indonesia as a developing country, upholds human rights, including the right to health guaranteed in the 1945 Constitution. In this context, the presence of foreign medical personnel is an important part in supporting national health services. However, regulations governing foreign medical personnel, especially regarding malpractice sanctions and supervision mechanisms, still have significant weaknesses that have an impact on patient protection and the effectiveness of law enforcement. This study aims to identify the weaknesses of these regulations and analyze the consequences of their limitations on the legal system in Indonesia. The method used is normative legal research with a normative juridical approach, examining laws and regulations, legal literature, court decisions, and legal doctrine qualitatively. The results reveal that the existing administrative and criminal sanctions are still not firm and specific enough for foreign medical personnel, while supervision and competency verification have not been effective and integrated. In addition, complaint mechanisms and legal protection for patients who are victims of malpractice are still difficult to access, and there are ambiguities in legal jurisdiction, especially in cross-border cases
